Book 3 Chapter 18

The bank was quite high quality. It even felt like the one he had seen in Eshen but at the same time, it was desolate and had all the lights off.

He had to look around to find the light switches.

The creatures of the several races jumped when the lights suddenly turned on but he called them.

On the right side, a platform of rather large size with a bowl in front laid unattended.

He pointed to one goblin and had it get on.

He then proceeded to combine coins into plates and began to place them in the bowl until he had enough to make a gold bar.

Gobloid - Unranked

A very rare evolution possible in only the most pure blooded goblin who has no different DNA. They are the true form of sentient goblins.

This evolution suppresses the unreasonable libido in goblins and increases their intelligence and self control allowing them to assume a position of great normality.

This race is purely male and develop the gender 100% of the time

Goblin Rare - Unranked

A rare evolution of goblins. This evolution puts them on the path called the noble goblin form which can eventually produce a Goblin King

2,000 gold coins

Buglin - F rank

A very rare evolution of pure blooded goblins. Contrary to the Gobloid and Goblina, who favor intelligence and stability, these favor brutality and chaos.

5,000 gold coins

Gremlin - Unranked

A slightly darker breed of goblins. They tend to inhabit ruins and sneak upon massive human vehicles and might cause mischief if not properly controlled. They are a very technical breed if properly controlled and trained and can become very very intelligent in engineering trades.

“Pure blood…” Logan muttered and grinned as he looked at all the goblins. This was a very good thing because it would effectively breed a stable, sentient goblin population. Besides the Buglin, the rest were simply a racial evolution focused on mental improvement and none of them assumed a ‘class’ evolution.

There were only about 10 goblins in the mix.

“Let’s see… how do i add available professions…” He muttered and the dungeon system instantly reacted.

Goblin Miner - Unranked

A goblin that has learned the skills of the trade of mining. As a part of their evolution, they have learned how to mine with more efficiency and gained a very minor ability to notice the scent of metal ore or high quality stone.

Goblin Mine Foreman - F rank

A goblin that has learned the skills of the trade of mining. As a part of their evolution, they have learned how to mine with more efficiency and gained a very minor ability to notice the scent of metal ore or high quality stone.

This race is higher class than Miners and are similar to a goblin chief. They are much more intelligent and are able to make goblin breeds work with more order.

“Cost more but it is clear that it is worth it.” he said and went down the list of miner classes and put another gold bar and unlocked Gobloid Mine foreman and made the first one evolve into that before making four male miners and four female miners.

The form of gobloid and goblina are as surprising as you would expect to learn of the breed. They look very much like Jade looked when she became a hobgoblin except they had light green skin, black hair and their lower canines remained unlike Jade.

Females looked very cute with short tomboyish hair but had a lot of development like a slightly athletic human woman. It wasn’t super defined but they weren’t excessively ‘large’.

Put in the hands of the wrong people and they would instantly become the peak ‘produce’ of a slave trader.

Males looked like energetic 16 year old boys while only the foreman looked larger and had the development of a strong 20 year old.

Their clothing was, as you would expect, miner clothing. They had a full cotton overall and a thin white shirt and on their head was a hard hat with a lantern containing a very tiny crystal that Logan instantly identified as a light crystal.

They lacked pickaxe though but that was available at the mine boat.

“Master, we are ready to work!” they said.

“Stand on the side for now and let me work through these.” He said and pointed to the other monsters.

Next was kobold.

Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings.

Their potential was far less obvious but in the same stretch as goblins, everything in this dungeon is still pure blood monsters. These kobolds all had the option to become lizardmen but it also showed how it was possible for humanoid monsters to become actual monsters because they all had the option to become F rank Dungeon lizards.

Obviously they had job options which were purely humanoid race restricted. That said, the bank system allowed Logan to pick the sex they would be evolved into but it naturally cost about 500 more for males and 1,000 more for females.

It was clear as day that female monsters were infinitely rarer in nature for dungeon monsters. Making and maintaining a stable breeding population was going to be hard in time because these races are all pure blooded and a large number should be achieved before it starts to mix with other monster races from dungeon rebirth.

He made just one breeding pair of classless lizardmen. It would be helpful to put more dungeon control over the kobold.

The werecats and shadow cats, who came about from the war cats and shadow fiends, only had an upgrade to F rank which improved their power and increased how humanoid they got and increased their magic capacity by opening their mana channels.

“Hmm, this was educational to say the least.” he said and finally sent the miners to the mines and sent the rest along with them.

Logan had to think and also looked at the empty bank. “If i didn’t need to make the temple i would have started filling each specific dungeon station.” He complained.

He didn’t distract himself any more but the half of the knights that cleared the mines went to the next one and started clearing that place out while Logan watched how the foreman commanded.

He was already speaking human language but it was surprising that part of it was in Nuntip and part was in common Elrukian.

Logan asked him why? “Huh? It’s just how I know how to speak.” He said.

Logan thought for a moment and assumed it was because they were between major land masses and the dungeon likely interfaced with the local language.

He went to the dungeon shop into the item section and tried to see if he could spawn magic tomes.

When the desire appeared, a blank tome appeared for 2 gold bars while right under it the magic tomes for the common language of all the continents appeared for 5 gold bars.

He spawned a nuntip one and helped him absorb it to fix the problem and separate the languages.

It indeed helped and became less confusing for the knights as well.

The production also drastically increased with the presence of the miners who were doing almost twice the work of the others. Half of the monsters were even just delegated to shoveling material into the mine carts until the area was cleared out and they continued moving.

By dinner time, when work finished up, they had basically hollowed out the cave leaving just the shell.

Cave has been completely mined out.

Monsters cannot spawn in this place until at least half of the mine has reformed.

Rebuilding cave internal stone structure: 2 days

Logan got this prompt once the last stone was packaged away and only the dungeon lizards remained.

“Well, we have cleared this mine out. Good job.” He said.

The monsters and knights cheered and they were dismissed while Logan went to the other mines and converted more monsters and distributed them out.

Then all the micro world smiths came and helped transport all the metal to be smelted while the stone remained.

He called a few goblins to the bank where he made three gobloid masons and sent them to the mason workshop ship.

“This is what you need to make materials for and these are the rough forms that stone must be carved into.” He said and handed them a packet of leather pages containing the designs for all the special pieces like pillars and different parts.

For getting long pieces, the dungeon would help, many magic tools existed to mold materials like stone into large pieces to be carved.

When they got there and quickly started, the cargo hold opened up as the workshop ship moved over and latched on to the side like a part of the ship itself.

“There, now we can start getting the pieces needed to start building the temple of divine classes.” he said as he thought about the grimoires. “This system is so much like a game no matter how I look at it. I wonder if the summoned hero thought the same if he was from a world that had technology like today.” Logan thought.

“That’s fine, now i need to go look at another thing.” he said and looked at the forest islands that were just left alone and spread his wings and flew and entered the domain housing it causing a large forest island to expand around him.

The ship made for the forest caused a large expansion but he could tell there was a subtle imbalance.

“Water… as expected, I need to make boats with naturally spawning water to keep the forest balanced. This is a good thing to know for the next cruiser.” he muttered as he entered the forest and used his identification magic and instantly he saw bugs and more that were just normal animals but he also saw monster bugs that were glaring at him from a distance.

He looked around and soon his eyes focused in one direction as a smile appeared, “Yes, Orcs spawned in the forest as expected!” He exclaimed happily as he spread his wings and flew towards them.

He drew no weapons instead he appeared over the village and grinning, he plunged down and with controlled power he began to beat them all until all the orcs were knocked out.

Unlike the pigs that most dungeons breed, as expected, these orcs were pureblood and had no horrendous appearance. Instead they were just a bit shorter than Logan, had wild fur covered bodies, like wild boars, pointed goblins like ears and lower fangs.

One could easily confuse them for a wild boar orc subspecies but that is not the case.

The orcs he raised into knights had all but shed the pig features for more goblinoid features except they had pink skin like the domestic pigs.

He fixed the monster core positioning of all the orcs in this tribe and watched as they literally transformed from pigs into humanoids.

Most shockingly was that half way through, their bodies began to erupt and absorb mana like crazy and actually shocked Logan until they came out from the transformation.

They were totally humanoid besides the large lower jaw and boar fangs but their ears had extended longer and their fur had vanished around most of their body except for a lush wild head full of hair like a mane and around their nether region.

Shockingly they even formed sex and the distribution was rather even.

“Wha…” Logan muttered and examined them and his jaw dropped.

Wild Elf

A breed of natural elves born from orcs. Orcs are a breed of monsters originally created from dungeons that had once analyzed the DNA of an elf but due to the nature of dungeons, they also blended and mixed improperly in the dungeon causing the common pig breed to form. A pure blood orc, when his monster core is fixed, will become the dream of all dungeons and produce a natural wild elf.

Wild elves are as intune with nature as most other elves but they are born from mammals instead of being a human hybrid with trees. Besides their amazing magical potential, they share little affinity for nature magic like common elves do.

“Ah…” He muttered and looked around, “Pure blood breeds are so amazing. This discovery will really upend the understanding of modern people.” He said and quickly began to try and find more races but he looked at the previous orcs. “Travel to the main ship and rest within the common crew quarters for the time being.” He said.

They all groaned but he did not mind as he took to the air and began to scout the forest for more humanoids. The forest was rich in monsters already even if the mana was contained for the time being. He still started to find twisted monsters like dark brownies, a spirit that lived in houses and tormented its inhabitants.

Shockingly, fixing these caused it to mutate into another spirit. It had no form or even sentience. It was wisps. Elemental wisps at that.

Will O'Wisps are either ghosts of the dead that have not become a more dangerous creature or they are condensed elemental mana that has gained life but lacks much intelligence. Even with an upright mana stone, they just sat there meaning it was a viable creature to evolve into higher spirits that can help maintain the elements of the dungeon.

Logan knew little about spirits and simply snuffed the creatures. If it had been fairies and such he wouldn’t mind because fairies created and cared for nature and would help magical herbs be born and protect them from monsters.

He spent part of the evening and night going through the forests and finding a few orc groups but there wasn’t much else at this time without healing all the present monsters to see the end result.

When he got back and looked at a list of all the minions he had.

“Alright, objectives. Get the temple built first, get everyone not from the dungeon with a class, outfit all of the dungeon’s ‘jobs’ and get it working to full capacity and then complete the hunting and farming ship to pull all the spawning areas to that place.” he said and a system window with his notes actually appeared and he chuckled before dismissing it.

He proceeded to go eat before settling down to train where he felt the immense flood of mana again.

Only at midnight he got control again and didn’t immediately start. Instead he huffed and frowned, “Once is a coincidence, twice is a pattern…” He said. “Help system what is happening?” He asked.

Help system

The presence of the micro world’s world tree causes the dungeon’s mana to deposit mana to the world tree within as the pull field is the same as the one normal world trees possess allowing for the user to actively control the mana levels of the dungeon without needing excessive landing.

Logan looked and his eyes narrowed, his lips spread into a grin. “I see… No wonder so much mana came without me being able to stop. The micro world… a world tree sprout is all it needs. In that case we don’t need to speed up to find islands to land. I can travel at a slower speed and take a little more time. It will let the dirt in the pond the demons stir to settle and it will make it easier to move around if we understand what is going on.”

He had to think greatly about what they needed to do from here on because they were limited to C rank going into a battlefield with people higher than S rank. There was no knowing the reaction that the now paranoid orders will have to a totally strange ship like his own. That said, he now knew he could take a little more time and be ready for everything. He had to make use of everything at his disposal if he wanted to use the dungeon to speed his growth up. The most limiting factor was his own strength limited the power of the dungeon and monsters.

“Set it up, fill out the ship and then I need to make the first level of the pedestal’s temple and a fountain for the Chalice. I need all of this before we reach Elrukia. Followers are the most important so the hunting and farming zone is going to be instrumental.” he said and closed his eyes to start training.
