Although everyone was distributed throughout the cities of Eshen, three people did not go out.
Olivia, Logan and Max had a different objective.
“So how are you going to fly over?” Logan asked Olivia.
“It's part of spirit magic with my birds. I can combine with them and obtain wings in the process.” She said.
She showed him and the wings were very similar to Max’s and Logan mentioned that.
“That’s because as a kid, I did the same thing.” He said and summoned the birds he had never seen. They were much fiercer than Olivia’s.
“Yet you wanted a winged lion?” Logan asked.
“I said shut up. The lion is a pet and partner but these are like familiars that help channel magic.” He said.
Logan just rolled his eyes and as the last of the soldiers finished entering they each spread their wings and launched in the air to their targets.
Their mission was to effectively immediately get their hands on the surrounding nation’s abandoned airships.
They went to cities with airfields for this.
Logan grinned as he arrived at one of them after a few hours of flying as he saw rows of abandoned ships literally gathering dust. Cities were abandoned by then and they flew in.
His eyes shone as he flew overhead and looked through them to make sure there were no major dangerous elements inside before landing and between the ships he placed the door and called the soldiers.
They were all dressed in black and covered from head to toe so that they were not identified and they quickly began to board the ships. All these soldiers were experienced air force soldiers and they quickly began to check the ship’s machinery and soon they started to turn on.
After about an hour, they were fully cleared and fueled up. During the check, at least three fourths of the soldiers searched the entire air field and gathered fuel containers, material and basically anything useful and put it away in the micro world before boarding the readied ships that began to take off one by one and turn towards Eshen in the dead of night.
Logan turned and headed to other airfields, there were far more soldiers than what 30 or so airships required to pilot it and so during the night the three ran through four air fields each and were quietly training during the day. They only moved at night so that the darkness would not alert the bandit armies to their plans until the ships were totally out of range for anyone to reach quickly.
After a week, they returned home and you could imagine how happy the air force was to receive hundreds of ready made airships that just needed outfitting to be usable.
Not to mention all the materials gathered in the air fields which were now valuable and much harder to acquire.
When they arrived and released the remaining soldiers, they each headed to their own assigned area. Training police was a very difficult endeavor and most of it will have to come from adventurers willing to settle down after this. It needs people who aren’t willing to join the army but are willing to serve the public.
Either that or they make literal divisions specifically for policing.
That said, the discussion eventually ended with the 300 old members being the police trainers. They have all run dojos and know how to train people without needing them to follow their training style.
The young generation have still not reached that point and are still figuring their style out.
When Logan returned, besides his assaults against bandits, he began to train the F ranks ready to learn the new weapons.
It was not a pretty sight because there were so many faults but everyone was ready for it. They felt it first hand and they went into this knowing the next few month's would not be peaceful and they actually bargained with Logan and divided their training in shifts so that he didn’t have to over exert himself to train the first group all at once.
After he was finished, he was also exhausted from having to strike out so many times and move so much after analyzing everyone’s errors.
When he was done, he went to his own family and helped them train but like always, he was more careful with them, especially his mother.
After they finished his mother and sister asked to test their life force, out of curiosity.
Jade was called and helped display it and they saw what it looked like, “Wow!” Logan’s sister exclaimed as the orb had grown by almost a third and it wasn’t a scattered flame and was much more whole with only a few scattering flames which showed they still had a few physical problems.
In comparison, the other siblings all had perfectly circular orbs.
“Judging by the strength, I think completing F rank or maybe achieving E rank will be the requirement for you both to completely regain your natural vitality. That or train over years after maxing out F rank.” Jade said.
“Can you tell what is causing those leaks?” Logan asked.
“It’s just general health problems, they are still infected with the incurable diseases which are likely to only completely cure when your body evolves in strength so that it can eliminate it.” She said.
“With the fucking demon attack, medical science is probably the least of anyone’s worries.” Logan said.
“Don’t worry Logan, getting to E rank isn’t our objective after all. We are doing this only for health reasons and we don’t need the hard approach.” His mother said.
“I know but even the weak slaps is a small help to improve your health. Your natural strength is still far from F rank even if your mana is so we can only use mana to fix it. Even if we can’t heal you completely, at least 90% can be restored and you can live a healthy full life.” He said.
She sighed, she could feel the burden her son was putting on himself.
The other boys were all excited to become knights like their brother but he wasn’t taking the extremely hard approach for them like he did with the soldiers. He was training them slowly like he had been raised.
After a bit he was ready to go train the other soldiers but Jade stopped him after getting a bit of distance.
“What?” he asked.
“You’re pushing yourself. I get that the world is in a serious situation but right now we need to calm down and work with everything calmly. You’re trying to carry everything on your shoulders. You’re only a D rank and you don’t need to carry everything.” Jade said, frowning.
“We can’t be weak forever and we need strength now. As long as I’m not compromising my health and think before I jump, there is no danger.” He said.
“Yes there is because you don’t know anything about what any of the demons can do and you aren’t the elite members. You can’t become a shadow and suddenly turn into pierce someone from under their clothing like they probably can. Even if you could, you don’t need to carry the burden. You helped me, Storm and Jin train to be your party as adventurers and now your companions in leading your division so you should depend on us as well cause we are also D rank and growing at the same pace you are.” She said.
He looked and his frown softened, “Alright, I’ll try to take a deep breath and not do things preemptively.” He said.
She nodded and finally went with him to help him train the soldiers who still need to master the combos.
As the day came to an end, he was contemplating what to do when he noticed a movement and the F rank monsters all heading the same direction after dinner time and when he followed, he found that, amazingly, they had gathered at the chapel and filed in and were entering in an orderly fashion. They filled the place and in seats or open spaces, quite a number of them were already kneeling and praying in silence while a few spoke in hushed voices.
At the front, Jade was preparing something and suddenly he realized what this was, Jade was preparing her first sermon.
He remembered that this morning she was distressed and distracted. This meant that when she was telling him to share the burden she also had this burden to prepare everything.
He lighty sighed and looked at the four half formed bronze plate idols. The rough form of the gods had taken form and she was going to make all the basic forms before getting a professional sculpture to finish the finer details.
In the basement he naturally knew she had dozens of drawings from every last angle for all the bronze plate gods.
He decided to stick around and could see a light glow of faith come off the monsters and enter the ground heading towards the divine pedestal.
Slowly as the prayers finished she finally stepped up, “Thank you for coming, although it is a long way from perfect, the first chapel and sermon for the Pantheon of knights will commence.” She said.
All the monsters lightly clapped but got serious. Few people could actually do celebrations under this kind of divine aura and Jade knew this as well.
She closed her eyes and breathed for a moment before she formed her armor over her dress and struck the staff down, releasing an aura that amplified the divine aura.
From there she began to speak, her sermon was teaching about the seven bronze plate gods.
“The first great gods, the ones who represent the core skills, abilities and type of a knight, whose forms you can already begin to see taking shape before you. Their domains are Swordsmanship, Spearmanship, Weaponmaster, Hunt, Warrior, Knights and Defenders. Most importantly, their names have also been revealed. Badar, God of Swordsmanship, Utar, God of Spearmanship, Miena, Goddess of Weapon Masters, Mava, Goddess of Hunt, Celdon God of Warriors, Vaton, God of Knights, and finally Idall, God of Defenders.” She said.
All the monsters began to exclaim but one of them could not hold it.
“Shouldn't Lord Vaton not be among the highest ranking for being the god of knights?”
“Although that would seem proper, the domain of Knight is more akin to a class, much like a warrior. It is different from the one who sits upon the throne, the Ancient god of Knighthood who is the origins of the very concept of what a knight is.” She carefully explained. “This is tied to the change in the world with the screens common to dungeons appearing. The term, ‘Class’ is heavily implied to be an aspect or division of power. It is different from the gods of higher rank. Silver rank represents the aspects that knights embroil themselves in while the highest order is the attitudes we embody.” she explained.
It was almost a class about the gods but that is what sermons tend to be, teaching about the god, their greatness, their aspects and the actions, ideals and more that should be followed to be fiel disciples of their faith.
Logan remained as she went one by one for the first seven gods. It lasted for roughly an hour but at the end she gathered them for a prayer and guided them.
He watched and his eyes widened when the monsters prayed and a dense light of faith gathered into the staff while they prayed while half of the light of faith went into the statues which channeled up.
He was shocked by just how much faith was produced from a few dozen monsters.
Blinking, he knew that if this was the reaction it was getting from such an immature religion then what would happen in a few years when Jade got used to it, new priests were born and more.
When the last of the faith was absorbed the prayer was finally concluded and they stood.
“Thank you for coming to this sermon. In the coming days we will determine the schedule but there is no problem with coming for morning prayer to the gods.” She said.
Like that the monsters stood and happily walked out extremely content while Logan waited and walked over to Jade who was beaming.
“You did well for the first time.” He said.
“I was guided by the voice of the gods. Everything I said is still stuck in my head and I will start spending the night writing a book about each god specifically and everything I know so I don’t repeat myself and can also train new priests in the future.” She said.
He smiled and looked at the staff.
Logan didn’t say anything more as he walked out but his face hardened into a serious expression before calling his father.
“What?” Max asked.
“I need a lot of magic knowledge… a lot. I have so much knowledge to set up all those magic barriers, special formations and things like you set up in Olivia’s micro world but I don't even know where to start doing that.” He said.
Max nodded, “I guessed as much.” he said.
“Is there any way to speed it up?” Logan asked.
“Yes… the collapse of the capital took with it most lives and many people ran away from the cities closest to the capital. The Army took anything of value and among them were magic tomes. We have an immense collection but we’ve yet to put it into practice. Your sister has started to learn from the basics with one copy of each book however. Academies were also evacuated and we were able to gather it up. Both the physical book, the magic books and the production method for them.” He said.
“Can I learn a copy?” Logan asked.
“Yeah. They are all managed in the library. I will have the library staff start to prepare it for you.” He said.
They cut the call and Logan went to his room and took out the door to the micro world. When he got back to the library, they were already preparing a copy of many magic books from child to advanced. They asked what elements he wanted to learn however.
“All of it… what I need requires knowledge of all elements,” he said.
They nodded, Olivia was no different. She was already there and was learning about the most advanced books but he started on basic but it was quick to get through it because he already had child basics but there were still some new things he learned before starting on basics of each element available.
He stayed around until around midnight when his head was pounding from absorbing introduction and basic knowledge to all elements and types of magic. There was a very shocking amount of different magic. Even now he was trying to work out a lot of it but surprisingly, some of it connected to the knowledge of eye magic but it was just magical theory parts.
He finally collapsed in exhaustion but he would have to continue so that he would be able to properly do what was needed.
As expected however, because he learned the basics of each element, in the morning, he was doing a bit of morning training on his own and he found that using weapons of certain elements became dramatically easier.
He blinked in thought, “Ah… could magical knowledge make using the weapons easier…” He muttered and went through all the moves with each weapon he possessed and ended just before it was time for the first training.
He lightly huffed but felt that there was indeed an improvement and then looked at the many others and knew there was 100% going to be a limit on who could access so much knowledge without paying for it.
He put away his sword and called the first group to get into place and start the training.

“AHHH!” a desperate scream in one of the rooms within the Golden Lion Micro world filled the room.
The two active generals watched as their most injured companion struggled in pain as his damaged limbs were pulsing. After several months, finally the 3 A rank older generation members returned from the Central empire. They sought out for the limb regrowth potion but found a lot more than they ever expected when the Adventurers guild invited them to their secret HQ.
“That is all.” The middle of the three said.
Maxwell and Olivia were there listening to the report and they looked at one middle aged man and four teens who were at the back. Beyond just the limb regrowth potion, they gained recovery potions for the other two which they had already used and now their bodies had mostly been restored to what it was before the attack, minus their magical capabilities.
These five were naturally Legend smiths.
“Thank you sir for coming on behalf of the Order of Smiths.” Maxwell said.
“The ones needing magic swords the most are the Golden Lions. We five will also be recruiting common adventurers willing to learn the art of magic smithing to form smiths that can make the Golden Lion Magic sword.” the elder said.
“Would sir like to pick from among our disciples or the adventurers?” Maxwell asked.
“Both, one group to be specific to your order and the other would probably be adventurers so that they can become public usage for the nomadic adventurers still moving around.” He said.
“Thank you.” Maxwell said.
“Don’t thank me yet, you all are preparing all the materials. You all know as well as I how tedious the conditions for those magic weapons are.” He said.
“We are aware, the blueprint is still within our hand, showing us how hard it was, especially since there are few who can actually achieve the special ability with even just one other transformation.” He said.
“Yes, these minor smiths will be here to help us make the barebone material weapons for the swords.” He said.
The screams of the general finally reached a pitch as his leg stump shined and rapidly expanded as half the leg from the knee down to the hell reformed. They went quickly and fed him nutrition pills. A very large number of them support the regrowth.
All three generals naturally had mana filled bodies as well which is why it suddenly had such an evolution like regrowth instead of a slow and painful growth.
“Still… to think you encountered the secret to humans possessing mana infused bodies.” The legend Smith said.
“It was a quirk of nature. I just happened to sense my son undergoing the transformation and witnessed it in time.” Maxwell said.
They watched in silence after that as the rest of the limbs regrow until finally it all reformed.
Maxwell took the time to examine the regrow limbs and nodded. “Perfect, mana channels have expanded but they are closed so you will have to grind them to your current condition but you are fully healed now.” He said.
The old man was sweating as he heard that and forced a smile before closing his eyes as he just let himself fall asleep from the fatigue.
The other generals helped him onto his wheelchair and returned him to his room while Maxwell and Olivia continued talking to the elder.
“What locations do you plan to build new shops?” He asked.
“The three dungeons present in your territory, once they form safe areas they will have to have shops. Beyond that are the major cities in all segments of Eshen.” he said.
“I understand, we will provide you with adequate housing and space for you to erect your forge.” Max said.
“Oh… one in this Micro world and one in the world of the young boy as well.” He said.
“Hmm? Does Logan’s world require one?” Maxwell asked.
“From Grandmaster Elas’s own orders, One of my disciples was to be placed specifically to support the child. I will personally work from this Micro world and the other three will be in different migrating patterns among the three central military divisions and major cities.” he said.
“I see… Well Logan has left just recently.” Max said.
“Left? To where?” The smith asked.
“After running through hundreds of adventurer guild requests and gathering a sizable personal fund, he proceeded to Helix.” He said.
“That dungeon is currently ruling its own nation and at war with other dungeons of what was once the Union! What is he doing going over there?” He asked.
“He went to purchase dragon magic for his battle beast.” Olivia said. “He told me before he left. It was suggested to purchase before he and his battle beast surpassed C rank to obtain dragon magic from the 60th floor city.” She said.
“Helix stopped being a tower dungeon after the collapse of the union.” the smith said.
“But besides flipping the dungeon so that it descended instead of rose up, he still has the same structure. The guilds from within the dungeons are still active and the ones we here were able to confirm that he still accepted adventurers but it was infinitely stricter control because every city beyond the 60th floor had mostly emptied out into the world and there were barely any humans left besides the bravest to request access. Now, only monster adventurers battled and controlled the constantly surging monster waves while also being at war with other dungeons.” Olivia said.
“It is still reckless, Helix’s war is done with S ranks, even the central empire didn’t have as many S ranks as the monsters protecting these dungeons.” He said.
“We told him.” They both said.
The elder sighed and nodded, “Right, Grandmaster did say the boy was very headstrong and determined. I just didn’t think he was this kind of determined but that isn’t a problem. We can wait if that is the case, let us set up my shop so I can give your sword a forging since it seems it has reached the peak of its level.” he said.
On her sheath, Hydra had indeed formed the purple burns as a result of the countless feats the golden lions have done from saving so many people.
They looked for a sufficiently large building that was more than enough for the first forge to house them all after that and started the reforging process to improve the grade of the sword.

On Storm’s back, Logan wasn’t with just his party. Sitting alongside him was an old generation golden lion. He wasn’t completely stupid, he doubted he could beat the boss to the 60th floor since the minotaur was already so powerful. The person who came was already C rank and was one of the older members.
Since he didn’t have his own division there was no difficulty for him to come with Logan. That said, entering Helix was a very difficult thing to do because the area was a literal warzone.
Just entering the city was difficult and this was even after showing their identity as Golden Lions. The reason was because they didn’t know if the Golden Lions had allied with another dungeon.
It took a very long interview with many magical tools to test if he was lying for them to finally be allowed into the city and it was even harder to enter the dungeon that was now under the majestic castle that was Helix’s home that sealed the dungeon below now.
Thankfully the teleporter still worked and the golden lions have a history of entering dungeons all over for gathering funds and materials.
The reason the C rank golden lion readily accepted was because he was also coming for a lot of materials. He was tasked to gather materials of roughly D rank to produce magic swords.
“It’s lucky that I’ve been to this dungeon or it would have been a pain to climb all the way up to the 40th floor.” he laughed but looked at Storm. “It is still shocking to find a drake that doesn’t hate having people ride him.” he said.
“I am happy only as a master, I tolerate others.” He replied.
They were moving like a bullet as he rushed through the dungeon and dodged monsters that tried to stop them.
They were already on the 59th floor. The creatures that could not be dodged were slaughtered by the C rank knight.
“Are you going to hunt above the 60th floor?” Logan asked.
“Yes, D rank is readily available all over the 60th to 80th floors so that is also my destination. It’s by the god’s grace that Helix still accepted Tip.” he said.
“I think it became more used since the sentient monsters can now stabilize their bodies.” Logan said.
“True, i think the value of gold increased a bit as a result we will have to check but you are using Tip to buy the dragon magic right?” He asked.
“Yes, I plan to get a complete record of Dragon magic, from basics to advanced.” Logan said.
“How much does that actually even cost?” he asked.
“I was actually able to check because the new network links dungeons to the outside world system.” Logan said and took out his communicator and opened up a page and displayed the 60th floor mage tower page.
Soon the archive for dragon magic appeared, several magic books for all the basics alongside a grimoire for everything beyond intermediate.
“A grimoire, that is extremely expensive!” He said and checked the prices of everything. “Fuck… just the basics of dragon magic is almost 3 million tip on it’s own but the grimoire is 25 million. How did you get that much personal funding?” He asked.
“The rescue missions from the adventurer guilds in the nations came with very generous rewards. Two thirds of that was mine since I braved the danger of getting to the cities and moving so many people out. Beyond that… let’s just say a few nobles from those nations have had unfortunate ‘accidents’ and no criminals were discovered and no traces were found to even start investigation.” Logan said without his tone changing a single bit.
When he heard that, it made sense. The nobles were all people who enslaved but also possessed vast personal wealth, it finally made sense why he suddenly had so much riches.
He spoke no more and soon they reached the 60th floor which had the boss room and they got down.
“Stand back.” he said as they walked through and he pulled a spear but as they stepped in, what appeared was a growling monster that was no smaller than Storm.
It had the head of an eagle and body of a lion with large wings. The boss room was massive for it to use its power perfectly.
“GRIFFIN!” Logan shouted.
Moments after, a bright light shined no differently from how Logan had done when he helped Olivia.
There was just a flash and they just saw the beast’s head fly up into the air and fall in front of them before burning up.
A large talon, a massive ham from the hind leg and the fur hide from the lower half remained before the boss room reward formed in a chest.
“Damn, that bastard's bones were tough.” The old knight said as he looked at his spear in case there was damage but there was no way a weapon used for so long would damage that easily.
“Wow…” Jade muttered.
Logan nodded and they walked over and grabbed the talon while the hide was rolled up and stored away by the elder before he took the talon and examined it. “Hmm… a griffon talon, not really that useful though it can be forged into those dragon claws to enhance it.” He said, looking at the weapons that Storm used since getting them from the dungeon on the 40th floor.
“It's better to leave it for material.” Logan said.
“Alright.” he said before grabbing the giant hams and tossing it to Logan to store since his magic bag would not hold such a thing.
After that they opened the box.
It burst open and what appeared was a new spear, the quality was as good as the one he used.
Besides that was some gold, a red crystal and a necklace.
Logan picked up the red crystal and instantly felt the lightning mana but it wasn’t as intense as the blue one.
Storm came over and asked to see and after a moment he confirmed it, “Red lightning crystal, it's a level lower than the blue lightning.” He said.
“So this is what goes between purple and blue.” Logan said.
“Yes but I don't need it.” he said and on his other hand he actually began to release reddish purple sparks.
“Are you starting to develop red lightning?” Logan exclaimed.
“Yes, the green one is changing as well.” he said as he excluded an emerald green one, far denser than the typical green.
“In that case, I will keep it and let Arashi absorb it when we get back to Eshen.” He said.
As for the necklace, after checking it with some identification magic, it was given to Jade. It was a necklace which boosted mana regeneration.
After that the box turned into mana and they proceeded into the city.
There wasn’t much movement, even if it was the 60th floor, the city originally had in the hundred thousands but now it was desolate. Most D rank monsters, with a mana development technique, could form a stable mana body to survive outside and form a solid body with C rank.
“Man… the cities really emptied out, it's really become just a safe zone compared to before.” Logan said.
“Yeah, it's expected when millions of monsters suddenly get their own freedom. Now they are out in the world with barely half of the stronger ones remaining to form a surface nation.” the knight said. “Since this is your target floor I will be heading up and begin killing monsters to gather material. Are you going to go to the floors below to train?” He asked.
“No, we are here for dragon magic only. All the other kinds of magic knowledge we have at the library in the HQ.” He said.
“Alright, see you children.” He said and walked off.
The group, for their part, went to the mage library and found it mostly deserted but still had some staff of high level strength protecting everything.
The receptionist was just reading a book when he entered and stood when he walked in, “Welcome.” She said with a professional smile.
She was very humanoid except for the horns and a pair of fangs. Her skin was pale and her eyes were red.
“We would like Dragon magic, all basic level knowledge in magic tomes and a complete archive of intermediate and advanced in a grimoire.” Logan said.
Her eyes widened because that was a massive order.
“That is a big price. Over 25 million Tip.” She said, not even talking in gold bars.
“I have the money, don’t worry.” he said.
She had to ask for a higher authority staff to come. They had to present and count the money first before the magic tomes and the grimoire were brought.
“This is all the knowledge of dragon magic. A lot of it includes dragon biology and most forms of dragon magic. Support, auxiliary, defensive, attack and even dragon architecture. Everything you need to know about a dragon is in this. The grimoire contains the written segment of all this basic knowledge as well but it’s too complex to make magic tomes out of it.” He explained.
Storm was quick to take the Grimoire and asking how to bind it, the book formed a magical link to Storm himself and like Jin, he could actually turn the book into magic and hide it within his mana pool and bring it out when he so desired.
They took the books and rented an inn for a few days and he began the learning process. Thankfully he had learned the intermediate basics of all elements because it involved a lot of knowledge even with basics. The first books required less than an hour to absorb but the time doubled with each book and they ended up staying a few days to absorb all the books until he knew all the basics to dragon magic.
When the last one stopped wrecking his head, he collapsed huffing, “Are you okay?” Jade asked.
Logan was training on the bed, absorbing the dense dungeon mana to fill the micro world more.
“Yeah… give me a bit and I will be able to move.” he said and covered his eyes from the light. Magic tomes were great but it was a painful method of learning and had absolutely no tips to learning it. Still, it was a valuable and quick method for the weak to obtain knowledge even if they didn’t have that unique edge.
Slowly the mana flow to Logan slowed down until he woke up and looked at Storm. “Are you okay there?” he asked.
“I’m fine, the pain was intense but i can handle it.” He said with a groan before finally sitting up but his head was hanging and he was visibly tired.
“Anything useful in the basics?” Logan asked.
“Yeah, it is basically the basics that infant dragons learn to learn more advanced knowledge. This includes the method to generate dragon mana. The process doesn’t affect development techniques though, they complement it but I am unsure how it will react to such a unique technique like the Golden Lion technique.” he said.
“Honestly, I’m surprised you didn’t change from a lightning dragon to a light dragon due to the traces of holy mana we form.” Jade said.
Storm just grumbled but got up, “I’m fine now. As a Drake, I don't actually need to do dragon magic but it is a great incentive to speed up the process of evolution. Especially the part about how to develop the spikes into wings.” He said. “Until I actually become a young dragon I can’t make use of anything beyond the basics but at least I will have it with me.” He said.
“That’s good, are you able to explain how dragon hoards work?” Jade asked, curiously.
“Sure…” He said, rubbing his head as he went through it, “Dragons, typically when they enter their hibernation state when their dragon mana grows too low but they have a hoard to rest in, will release and absorb mana. The special flow outside of the body mixes with anything in its surroundings from gold to magical weapons, if they are particularly luxurious they would make a special magical abode that helps gather and transport mana between several rooms full of treasures, crystals and gemstones before transporting it back. Particularly successful dragons such as elder dragons can even remain awake indefinitely because of these amazing hoards that sustain their immense requirement of dragon mana to support their giant bodies. Young dragons tend to maintain a small body size through special transformation magic. Assuming a human or half human form will almost entirely cut the consumption of it.” He said and his body transformed into his shrinking form before a different kind of glow covered him as he regained human form but it wasn’t just a lizardman form.
The face retracted, his body shape shrank more to that of a young teen once more, all of his tail, the spikes on his back, most of the crystal spikes that jut out of his body all were absorbed and only his horns remained before what was left was a young, highly humanoid boy with dragon horns and violet eyes donning a dragon scale suit of armor.
He looked at himself and smiled, “I did it!” He said before touching his head and smiling that he achieved just what he wanted. Dragon horns were a symbol of status and power so it wasn’t difficult to guess why he would keep them.
He even started to remove the armor and checked his entire body and everything besides the horn was gone and he looked almost entirely like a human if not for the horns.
“Wow, so this is what I look like as a human.” he said and looked at himself.
“Wow, dragon magic is amazing. It instantly gave you a human form.” Logan said.
Storm laughed and put his armor back on and looked at it and looked focused as the armor slowly shined and changed until it took the form of casual clothing similar to what Logan wore when he went to bed.
“Can you control the form of everything?” Jade asked.
“With practice, this is pretty hard but a lot of mass is concentrated into the armor. The defense is weak like this though but this is still 100% drake hide clothing.” he said and started to test the limits.
“Until you get dragon mana, what are you able to do?” Logan asked.
“Not much else beyond my innate skills. Honestly my Thunder Dragon Breath is barely a third of the power it could be for a D rank since I don’t have dragon mana. It is a big increase.” he said but then began to test his innate skills to see how he activated and trained but the last thing he tested shocked them as he reformed his clothing as armor and channeled half the mass into a sword.
“Heh, like this I can actually mimic the golden lion sword and even sword art.” He said as the sword began to shine and he swung but didn’t release the spell but it still had a lot of force.
They were happy he had gained a lot out of this, it would cement his progress to become a dragon.
Finally they packed up and headed down. There were no ships, he could only let them into the micro world after they left the city and spread his wings.
Before Jade went in, she noticed something and asked him, “Are you worried about something?” She asked.
“Hmm… No, I was just planning my personal training schedule. Having so many people to train really eats into my personal time since no one in the division has any mastery at all and it's one person for over a thousand.” He said and sighed.
“How many mana orbs have you formed?” She asked.
“I’ve only just formed my third… that and completed 7 cycles.” He said.
“The max is 9 orbs and you are making all of that in every acupoint to process mana. Don’t feel down about that.” She said.
“If only there was a way to speed it up.” He said, clenching his fist.
She smiled and pulled him into a hug, “You shouldn’t stress yourself so much, training is important but if you stress out, it might ruin your mana flow like what happened to me when we first reached Eshen.” She said before walking through the door.
He groaned but put away the doorway and spread his wings before flying north towards Eshen now that he had completed his task and needed to return to his division in case anything happened.
