Waking up in an unknown place was the last thing I ever thought would happen to me. Especially me, since I seem to have a problem or a very serious disease called “laziness”, meaning I don’t have the capabilities of going out without any pressing reasons. Those reasons could be various things depending on its level of importance. For example I go outside because of college and not doing so could have very bad consequences. Such as my dad beating my ass for being an idiot and not wanting to learn a trade to survive in society in the future.
Sigh.
Looking around and seeing nothing but green reminded me again that I’m not at home. Trees racing each other of who gets to be the first to reach the sky, their flailing branches and leaves reminds me of men wanting to reach the pinnacle yet they were never good enough.
Ok I told myself. Let’s get my bearings.
Hundreds of questions littered my mind, some more pressing than others.
Like ‘Why am I here?’
‘Where the hell is here?’
But one things for sure and it is a concrete fact that this is not home.
Suddenly something catches my eye, it looks like a small icon and it’s not really noticeable except when you concentrate hard on it. The icon looks like an arrow pointing up to the sky. Thinking that the arrow want me to look upwards, I tilt my head upwards to see nothing but the blue sky covered in white fluffy clouds, gently lazing around looking down on me and on the inhabitants of this forest. Whatever those inhabitants might be.
Still the arrow baffles me as it looks like it’s just floating in the corner of my eye. It doesn’t seem to be a physical object but more like something that come from an MMO game. I slowly brought my dominant hand towards the strange floating icon and extent a finger and carefully and steadily press it.
Without warning a blue box appeared.
‘My God, this isn’t what I think it is’ I asked myself nervously but that quickly faded as excitement quickly took over.
‘It’s beautiful’ I cried out.
The blue box shows my stats and basic information about myself like those light novels I have read.
But realisation quickly dawned on me, I’m not earth anymore. This place I am now is somewhere in another world, who knows what danger lurks here.
Having come to the realisation, cold sweat quickly pour on the side of my face and I immediately look left and right, forward and backwards but seeing and sensing nothing I feel relieved.
Noticing that the blue has not disappeared and it still floating right in front of me but I noticed that the arrow is now facing downwards, completely the opposite way it was facing before. Ignoring that for the moment I quickly examined my stats.

Seeing my stats, I’m a bit disappointed most of them converted to ten which at the moment I’m not entirely sure if that’s good or bad. For now let’s just say it’s particularly bad, it’s not good being careless.
But what really intrigue my curiosity the most is my personal ability. What does Champion possession even mean. Seeing as the ability text is flashing must mean that there’s additional information.
Quickly pressing the button, the blue screen that showed my main stats disappeared replaced with another informing me about my ability.
Champion PossesionEnables the user to use a champions ability from League of Legends.
The Champion must be first unlocked by using Champion Points Accumulated from Levelling.
Upon first using this ability the user is allowed to choose from a limited champion pool.
Acquiring more levels enables the user to see more champions to unlock.User Receives 50 points
‘What the fuck!!!!!!’ I mentally screamed.
Looking at the information one more time, my face was frozen from being shock with my mouth wide open.
‘League of Legends?’
‘This world gave me power base on my favourite MOBA game? How freaking cool’ I shouted for joy.
Now that I think about it, the last thing I remembered before waking up is playing the most popular MOBA called League of Legends and losing horribly.
Sigh. I wasn’t exactly the best player at the game. Only being Silver 1.
After being horribly upset at losing that rank game. I had a massive head ache out of nowhere and bam here I am.
Focusing my attention towards the blue screen again, I notice that it has now displayed a different information this time. Apparently I have received 50 points out nowhere. ‘Hmm must be for unlocking a champion from the limited champion pool’ I reasoned. Looking at the blue screen again confirmed my suspicion. It seems that I have to choose one from 12 champions to unlock and possess that champions abilities. How interesting.

So technically I only have enough points to unlock one champion at the moment. But the problem is which one. Most of them are pretty good at the moment but arghh!!, choices, choices and choices how fun. Not!
Sigh. Clearly holding it off is not a good idea or ideal at the moment, who knows if this forest is safe.
‘Let’s see if clicking on champion names will give me more details, it be ideal if their abilities stays the same in here as well as in the game, but that be too good to be true.’
Focusing on the champion called Ashe I narrowed my eyes and focused on it. Suddenly without warning a new blue box appeared replacing the other one. On it revealed Ashe’s champion information and abilities.

(Author's Note: I was going to use table here but no matter how hard I tried. It didn't work for some reason)
Looking at the various information presented to me, I noticed that there are some major differences compared to the game. For example hawks hot which is her ‘E’ ability can usually hold two shots that reveals a specific area around the map, but in here, her ability enables her to summon an ice bird familiar to act like a drone or a scout.
That is beyond cool. Well I’m not going to complain. I need to scout the area around me to check for dangers and having that hawk shot ability will be beneficial to my survival. Besides the cost of the abilities doesn’t seem to be that bad except for the ultimate skill which if I use will drain me 100 energy in one go. At the moment I don’t even have any idea how fast I can replenish my energy.
Pressing on the locked button at the bottom.
Another blue screen prompted me if I want to pay 45 champion points to unlocked Ashe. Holding my breath I clicked yes immediately.
A bunch of information about Ashe suddenly invaded my mind. Helpful information were also imprinted in my brain, such as how to use the Champion Possesion Ability. Basically it works by invoking the key words using the champion’s names which in this case is Ashe and saying ‘Champion Ashe Activate’.
Theoretically according to the knowledge given to me this should give me Ashe’s basic stats, and both our stats will be combined except for the energy stat. I have to put points in that, in order to maximise my energy pool.
Sigh. Thank God I was given this information first hand. The most important thing is maxing out my energy pool in order to use more champion abilities but will the basic stats of champions be enough. Especially for damage, defence, speed and other stats. In game it was much simpler the game allows to build items on champions boosting their stats over all.
‘I have to stop thinking about this like the game’ I scolded myself.
This isn’t a game anymore. My life is in endanger and making the wrong choice could either save me or damn me.
So there might be no way to increase my champion stats at the moment. Since there’s no shop here that sells “Static Shiv or Infinity Edge”. It be good if they did. Makes my life so much easier. Life.
Oh well energy is still the most important stat to increase right now.
Using the 5 points left, I mentally added those 5 points on my Energy Stat.
I now have 105 Energy.
Well better than nothing I suppose.
