Time passed, to be more precise 3 years, now I’m a full grown wolf, my training with lightning was intense but rewarding, I’m the fastest of the pack and probably at the same level of power with Alannar that by the way isn’t very found of me.

We are hunting some dersin a deer like animal with horns made of some type of metal so sharp that can easily cut rocks, not to mention us wolf. We isolated a young looking dersin, looks like we made it. I was happy with the results, this dersin can feed our pack for some days because is huge, 4 times bigger than me.

The dersin was torn apart and everyone helped bring it back to our lair, we were about 2 miles away when I sniffed something, and I’m not the only one. We hastened ourselves but we were unprepared to what awaited for us, it was an ambush. I found myself fighting some creature that I haven’t seen but I have a feeling that I knew what they were, two legs no fur only a bit of hair on the head, what are they called again?

“they a called something like homen, no it was.. Oh yes Human” the moment the word ‘Human’ was out of my mouth something exploded inside me.

Hatred, grudge and bloodthirsty. My eyes turned red and my rationality started to fade.

“Take the cubs and kill the wolfs” A tall human screamed.

My mind went off, by the time I regain conscious I had a human head on my mouth and humans limbs everywhere the ground was red, and I was alone every wolf was dead father, mother and my siblings everyone who I promised to protect, I have regained my memories and again I lost everything, humans again.

“I will kill every human and paint the world with their blood” reaffirming my promise.

I need to be strong, I need to grown stronger, I will be the strongest, I woke up of my delirium when I heard someone calling my name.

I turn around and see the last one of my pack, an amber female wolf, her name was Phely, she was one year younger than me and had another rare affinity like mine she was a variant from earth and fire, magma affinity. The magma affinity had the good defensive from earth and good offensive from fire, but not as good as them, it was a good equilibrium between the fire and earth.

“Phely it’s only the two of us that survived?” I was hoping that someone was hiding.

“Yes only us, I was away and just came back to see you with the last human fighting, what are you gonna do now? Going to look for another pack to join?”

“Phely you know the packs don’t accept males only females, you should go and join some strong pack with your affinity and being young I’m sure there wont be a problem.” I suggested to her to join a pack because I can’t guarantee her safety.

“No Shutra, I will follow you, you’re the new alpha of this pack even if is only us, you should have been the alpha some time ago but you were lazy to challenge Alannar but everyone knew you could” Phely was really devoted to the pack.

“So Phely you’re suggesting to rebuild the pack, are you trying to be my mate?” I was joking even tho I felt dead inside.

“I er... No I mean if this is to rebuild the pack I’m ok with it” Phely was a normal female wolf and obliviously a strong alpha like Shutra was attracting.

“Phely let’s talk about mate later I don’t wanna rush thing and as you know mate in our species are mean to be together all life, what I’m thinking is we should submit all the other packs and form The Pack, them try to submit all other species to us” I was already planning to form a strong force to fight the humans.

“I can understand submit the packs but the others species... Why?” she was confused.

“So we can destroy those whom had killed our friends and family... We shall kill all humans”I was determined to eradicate the human species from this planet.

Phely was surprised by my idea but soon she accepted, she also hated humans. We started again the training but I had to come up with new methods that could release our potentials. I was thinking what the Goddess of wolfs Waheela told me, my species couldn’t perform magic but we could reinforce our bodies, I was pretty sure that the limit wasn’t some hard skin for earth affinity or in my case just some speed and strength, it must be something else, in nature everything has an equilibrium so if we can’t use magic we must have something with the same potential but we don’t know what it is yet.

I began to concentrate and visualize my body, what we are doing is just augment the skin and the superficial muscles, it’s a quickly way to gain some power but is not the best, I think I should begin from the bones maybe I can augment them permanently. Concentrating my lightning on the bones I can see some changes is like my bones are like a sponge absorbing all the lightning, and soon I can’t produce any more lightning and my bones have cracks and from them I can see little sparks.

“I should test to see the changes, if everything goes well I will tell Phely to do the same” testing my speed and power I can fell I’m at least 2 times faster and stronger with just that little augment, this is it I can accomplish my goals

“Phely! Phely!” I began to explain my new method and soon Phely could Augment herself becoming stronger.

I can see a new hope, I shall first dominate this jungle and them the massacre can begin.
