Hank, with his family, went through the forest walking for about 5 km until they found a glade.

The glade was filled with wolfs and some cubs, and at the center there was a huge rock and at the top of this rock a red wolf with a big scar on the left eye.

Alannar, the alpha, jumped of the rock.

“So everyone is here, let’s begin the introduction. Ikaw and Cisce had 4 sons, 2 males and 2 females everyone remember their scent. Them the next family is... Oh yes Urar and Sila with 3 females the the last Pemba and Teny with 1 male and 2 female... Remember their scent they now are part of the Black Claw Pack” With this Alannar introduced the newcomers.

After the introduction every wolf came to the cubs to sniff their scent, soon everything calmed down and the Alpha started to reunite the wolfs to prepare for the hunt. The cubs were gathered together so only 2 females had to keep watch and the rest of the parents could go with the pack.

“Mom are you going to stay?”I was kinda nervous, he didn’t trust the others wolfs.

“Little white, I’m going with the pack, I can see you are nervous but don’t worry no one from the pack will harm you, is not honorable to hurt cubs from the same pack and we value honor more than life even so take care of yours siblings, I can see you are more mature so this task falls into you” Explained Cisce.

“Don’t worry mother I’ll keep them out of troubles” I promised.

Hank went back to his siblings and sat near them watching they play catch with the others cubs.

“Brother play?” Asked one of his females siblings the black one.

“No little black, mother asked me to keep an eye on you and our brothers so I’m gonna stay here, you mustn’t cause any troubles ok?”

“ok” Answered little black.

It was almost dark when the pack came back there was a lot of meat the pack probably could go on for 1 week with the meat from this hunt, some could say it was a very fortunate hunt but it anyone could see worry on the eyes of the adults.

“Mom I can see a great amount of food why worry?” Hank didn’t understand what could make a hole pack with more than 40 wolfs.

“White there are some creatures really dangerous in the forest, usually this side of the forest is relatively safe, but on our hunt some wolfs sniffed the scent of one of those dangerous beasts” Mother was really concerned.

“What can make the whole pack to worry?”

“IronBack Bears, one can kill 5 to 6 wolfs but they live in pack like us not this big but with 10 to 15 of them, our pack stand no chance against something like this” explained Mother.

“Are we gonna run away?”

“No honey we sent some wolfs with dark affinity, the are specialist in stealth, to determine how many IronBack bears this new pack has... If they have 5 or less we attack, if the have 5 to 9 we stay and defend if they attack and if they are more than 9 we run”.

No one in this jungle wanted to go full war against another species, normally a pack only attacked another if there was an overwhelming difference in strength. Soon the scouts returned and reported what they found, the group of enemy consisted of 7 IronBack bears and 1 cub.

“With 7 of them we can defend our pack I doubt they will attack because it would result in the annihilation of both” Alannar decided it was safe to stay.

Every day scouts would go check the intruders, and like this 6 months passed by without any major problem, Hank trained every day and the difference between him and the other cubs grew.

“Mother I feel strange, there is something in my chest and I feel is about to explode” I grew worried, I really didn’t wanted to die again.

“Is that true White? Are you sure?” asked Mon.

“Yeah Mother I can’t bear it anymore” I was about to collapse.

“Ok son do exactly like I’m about to tel you, first meditate like you did when you were born then feel this core on your chest, then break the core I know it sound crazy but like this you will free your body to cultivate, this core absorb the energy we absorb naturally so the little one won’t die before they can handle the energy ” Mom really was worried.

Soon I located this core and he was full of lightning, how I’m gonna break this? I’m running out of time I can feel it, so I try to condense all the lightning in the core and CRACK. Around my body a field of lightning is formed I can feel the molecules in the air.

Every wolf in the pack group around me to watch, they had a surprised expression, I can’t tell if is because I’m just half year old or because I have lightning affinity, well maybe both.

“Cisce this is crazy little white is just half year old” Dad comment.

“This never have happened I’m not sure what to do, usually at this age they start the training not finish, no awakened wolf can stay without a name that’s why we name them half year before the awakening.” Alannar had a dark expression maybe he was felling a threat to his position, not right now but in the future.

“Cisce name your child” Alannar commanded.

“You shall be know as Shutra of the Black Claw Pack” mother decided my name.
