Hank Howl was a normal kid, he had parents that loved him and a little sister. His father was a well known magician and his mother a lovely housewife. At the age of 10 every kid had to undergo the affinity test, the test consisted in pouring out all the mana in a strange orb, this orb later would quantify how much mana the kid had, the normal number for a 10 years old kid was 50 mana and a genius would had 70 mana.

Hank Howl waited for his turn to be tested with his family, it was 10:30 Am when his name was called. A bit nervous Hank went to the dark room where the test was held. He couldn't see anything, only the strange orb in the center of the room.

'' pour your mana in the orb boy''.

Hank anxiously went to the orb to be tested and did as the elder told him. After a couple of minutes the orb started to glow and the number 500 was on the display.

“It must be broken’’ Hank thought.

Suddenly and elder appeared in front of Hank and hit his temple, Hank immediately collapsed on the floor.

“finally our lord will be happy with this new guinea pig”. 

Hank woke up in a dark humid place, his head hurt and he was confused.

“What happened? I can remember the orb was broken then the elder..” why the elder attacked him he thought.

Soon Hank realized he was in a dark prison and he could hear screams upstairs, he was truly afraid, why he was imprisoned? Why.Soon he got his answer.

“Hello Young men, you must be confused why you’re here”An elder man said to Hank.

“Mister please let me out I didn’t do anything wrong to be here” Hank tried to convince the old man.

“You are right you did nothing, the reason you’re here is because of your potential, with 500 of mana t the age of 10 you are a really special test subject hehe” Smile the old man.

“And I want to know why you are so special even if I had to cut you piece by piece”.

“Mister please let me out I have a father he can pay you as ransom”.

“Kid let me be frank with you, you have no one in this world anymore, everyone of your family are dead.. We killed them” Responded the man with a a sad face.

Hank collapsed on the floor, he couldn’t believe his father mother and sister... Why this is happening to him?

“Why did you killed them!!!???” screamed Hank.

“Well they started to cause problems”

It was the last sentence the elder said before beginning the experiments. Hank was cut, skinned alive among others thing, and every evening he was healed so he wouldn’t die. After 8 long years of inhuman torture and healing there was only one thought in his twisted mind “Kill them all... I hate humans and magic”.

He hated magic that caused this if only he had a normal mana pool, magic was the cause of his suffering and humans are ...

“I WILL GET MY REVENGE” in his twisted mind he was sure that he would get another chance to get his revenge, so he bit his tongue.
