After the duel had ended Lucifer made sure to examine what he had gained from the fight. His examination was followed through by his sight.
Lucifer has gained the skill [Strategy].
Lucifer has gained the skill [Foil].
Lucifer has gained the skill [Sense].
Lucifer has leveled up his physical resistance stat to 2.
Happy with what he had gained he stretched his muscles. During that time the green goblin chieftain caught up to his brisk walking pace.
“Hello, humanoid you need your wounds mended? Don't you?” Asked the goblin chieftain.
“That's right” Lucifer replied trying to catch a glance at his wound, only seeing it briefly.
“Then if you would, humanoid, go into the middlemost tent in the village. There I will patch you up and we can share a cup of -” The chief noticed that he was getting ahead of himself there and stopped talking, he had to procure their future, not to ruin their only hope.
“No, I don't need that, just heal me.” ordered Lucifer.
“Oh, ok then…” Shuffled the goblin chieftain rather slowly, before picking up its pace as they headed towards the middlemost tent in the village.
Lucifer noticed something apart from the size of the tent that pissed him off.
A totem depicting a winged being, stretching out his hand only to be caught by another.
This totem… had to be destroyed. That was not what the heavens were like or whatever the Hell that totem was supposed to depict.
To distract himself he entered the tent, it was rather bare. There existed no flooring save for one small table. Even the ceiling was three feet, so he had to duck to get comfortable.
Getting on his knees Lucifer crossed his legs, and the goblin saw this and went to the opposing side. Lucifer stared into the chieftain's eyes.
This was going to be one of those types of chats.
Breathing in deeply, followed by a large exhale the goblin chieftain began to speak to him right out of the gate.
“What are your intentions, will you protect us? Or… rule us.” Asked the chieftain, his eyes focused entirely on him.
Lucifer cracked a smirk at what the goblin chieftain was asking. He didn't care much about managing them, he liked the power, however, remove the responsibilities you will be stripped of that power if one is not careful.
“Protect you? Ha, you should know better than to think I need to protect you. You should want to protect me, I said that out there since all of your kind was near. “ regarded Lucifer.
Lucifer began to stand back up, towering over the goblin chieftain.
“Now that we are in here, I will be telling you what's what.” declared Lucifer.
He moved towards the small green man, grabbing it by his neck and slamming him against the wall of the tent, shaking the entire hut.
“You will be doing what you normally do, except in matters of huge importance I shall have the final say.”

“One more thing, do not think that you can rebel, I will just light a torch under your asses and burn this entire place to the ground. You mean nothing, now mend my wounds.”
“Small fry.” Lucifer peeled back his grip and the goblin fell to the ground coughing wildly.
The goblin chieftain choked on his words as he worked up the confidence to reply.
“Understood… humanoid.” the goblin's face flushed.
“Oh, and get rid of those creepy totems. Pray to me instead, because it is not their good side that you want to be on.”
“It's mine.” heeded Lucifer.
The goblin chieftain clenched the dirt, it wanted to deface their villages totem! Destroy it even.
Emotions were carried through his very bones. A variety of emotions were visible the most prevalent of them was the disappointment.
The chieftains eyes sunk as hopelessness took the lead. He already fought against it and lost.
Lucifer, however, kept speaking.
“On second thought, do tell your kin to wake up early.”
The goblin was too preoccupied as he was still dealing with the disappointment that was ringing inside his head to reply.
“Now spread the word verbatim.” said Lucifer.
Heavy tears sunk into the ground, leaving behind any hope for tomorrow. This was not a challenge that he...
“Or I shall raze the entire village.”
The chieftains fatherly instincts kicked in as he slowly raised himself off the ground. Despite how hopeless it may have seemed for him if they did what the humanoid asked they would live.
That's what his father entrusted to him - the duty of the chieftain and the responsibilities that lay with that duty.
He needed to do this even if it went against the ways of prior generations of his family, of his village.
He needed to do what the humanoid asked, apologizing to the gods ahead of time was not something that could be done.
He only sunk his head for a moment in forgiveness.
If he didn't have to destroy their totems to save his kin, his family… his home he would protect the totems because before their prior guardian and up to this very day had kept them safe.
Old boned or not giving up on his family was not in his vocabulary.
Giving up on them was not allowed.
“It shall be done, humanoid.” replied the dwarfed goblin.
“I am looking forward to the positive results you are sure to bring.” answered Lucifer.
“Better hurry, and mend me.” Lucifer said.
“Even now with these wounds, I can destroy your very livelihood.”
Lucifer ascertained silence from the chieftain.
“Heal me, feed me, and destroy the totem, Got it?” Questioned Lucifer.
Habs nodded his head, giving in he began to heal the humanoids wounds.
This was not close to how he pictured the first day with the new guardian would go.
The humanoid was evil, pure evil. Additionally, the humanoid had the power to back up his future evil deeds.
If he and the rest of the goblins were not careful they would be burning alive by this time the next day.
What kind of monster was Habs healing? And what could they even do to avoid such a fate?
