SS 2: Dilemma and joy of an elf teacher.
* Dr. Spencer's POV*
My name is Spencer Lakestream, an elf who works as a doctor in a small Naga’s village called Alturi.
Being a pioneer village with the aim of extending control in this area of the mountains, the number of inhabitants is low, and therefore, my work as doctor is peaceful.
Although I am of the elven family, my father was a human man, and it was he who gave me my name and inherited me his last name. Many have been the jokes of my friends and acquaintances that my name does not sound elvish at all.
Now, my name does not bother me, and since I settled in Alturi no one has commented on that. To tell the truth, I miss the colleagues who used to joke with my name.
Marcel, Leurio, Tonse, Ragaste, I wonder how those boys will be after having taken separate roads. I hope fortune smiles upon them.
The only one of my friends with whom I still have contact (if little) is Allan, who decided to become a merchant after graduating from the Capital’s Academy.
His full name is Allan Dewell, an optimistic man of good nature, features not very compatible with the trade industry, where only the ambitious and the evil succeed. Fortunately, I have not received any news that he has been swindled and turned into a slave. On the contrary, it seems that his business as a peddler has been fruitful and he has even bought a house, contracted nuptials, and formed a family.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
A family ... If only my son took the time to visit me.
Bah, there's nothing I can do now.
As for Allan, what was the name of the place where he lives now? M ... Mo ... Mo ... Molse? Yes, I remember, the town of Molse in the Waterloud region.
I need to get in touch with him as soon as possible, there is no one more reliable than him to start with the sales of this new product: High foam soap.
A mixture of a special salt, fat or oil, and a touch of fragrance. Who would have imagined that such a simple mixture would create such a spectacular product?
Its creator is a Naga child without any training in alchemy, how he came up with such an idea is a mystery, he even knew about the harmful properties of salt and took precautions about it.
The best-known legend among the elves is about when the god of wisdom appeared to a woman during a difficult birth and told her that the child was having trouble being born because he was receiving a part of his knowledge. That child will grow into the father of alchemy.
Perhaps that is the case with the young Aruh, and the reason why he was chosen by an oracle as his betrothed.
No, rather, I'm sure that's the case. Curiosity and desire to learn, as well as a great mental ability. Is a pity that lacks the magic required for alchemy, if he had it, he would already be enrolled at Capital’s Academy... Ah, right. Being a Naga, he can not leave the mountains of Tulser...
In any case, it is best to contact Allan and tell him about the soap for now.
