Maka and Val pop out of a black portal at the bottom of a vast ocean. Val materializes and throws Maka a robotic breathing device. Maka attaches the breathing device to his mouth and then spins his four tails like a motorboat.

“So what’s the objective this time?” Maka asks.

“Blow up the Nel Tower,” Val states.

“What a tower? Seems like we are in an ocean right now.” Maka says.

“The objective is twenty miles away. Guess we will have to see what this planet looks like when we get to the surface.” Val explains.

“Sounds fun, let’s go.” Maka squeaks.

Maka shifts his energy into his tails and starts to swim through the water. Maka dives deeper and a school of fish swims by Maka who waves a tail at them. Maka follows the fish and Val floats alongside him. They dive deeper and enter a maze of seashells, a large crab swipes its claws at Maka who quickly dodges it. Then turns his tail into a hammer and smashes the crab's claw. The crab cries out in pain and then retreats to his shell. Maka loses sight of the fish and is in the middle of a seashell maze. Maka pushes onwards and encounters a hole with seaweed in it. Maka dashes into the seaweed and it grabs him. Maka quickly turns his tails into chainsaws and then cuts himself out. Maka swims out of the seaweed and sees the fish once more. Maka follows the fish and they lead him to the exit. The fish swim to an entrance of an underwater cave and then stop. Suddenly a group of three sharks exit the cave and chomp ten of the fish. The fish panic and disperse individually running in different directions. Maka covers their exit and attacks the sharks. The sharks smell the blood in the water and enter a frenzy-like state. They circle Maka and attack individually attempting to bite him in the middle. Maka dodges left and right using his tails to give him short boasts. Eventually, all of the sharks attack at once and Maka redirects the sharks into each other when they bite. Maka turns his tails into reaper blades and cuts through one of the sharks. The other two get scared and run into the cave. Maka heads upwards into the water. A large whale swims by and Maka attaches his tails to it. The whale swims into a Jetstream and then soars upwards. They keep traveling higher and higher eventually the whale makes it to the surface which is covered in ice. The whale smashes through the ice and Maka breathes the cold air into the new environment. Maka jumps off from the whale who slams back down on the floor of ice cracking it open then swims downwards. Maka lands on the ice in front of him it is slowly cracking because of the new opening the whale created. Maka removes the breathing device and throws it on the floor. Maka travels along the many sheets of ice and spots a mountain in front of him.

“Do I have to scale that?” Maka asks.

“You could scale it or travel around it?” Val asks.

“Where’s the fun in traveling around it? Hmm, I have a better idea, let’s go over it.” Maka suggests.

Val flies close to Maka and Maka wraps his tails into a bubble and then into a rocket ship. Maka puts all of his power into his tail engines and soars through the sky. Maka soars over the vast mountain and sees some of the skies of this digital world. As Maka flies through the sky he notices a spiral tower covered in ice. The tower has four foundation points at the bottom that are all interconnected at the surface. Maka spirals down toward the ground after passing the mountain. Maka lands in the snow and sees a building in front of him.

“That building has the bombs in it. Go and collect them, then put them at each of the tower’s foundation points. Theirs four blinking dots on my radar. You must have seen them when we were flying.” Val says.

“That sounds easy, let’s do this.” Maka boasts.

Maka dashes to the building as a snowstorm starts to crash down on the area. The wind pushes Maka back, then he turns his tail into a barrier that blocks the snow and wind. Maka runs into the entrance of the building and finds four destruction explosives. They are little boxes that set off massive impact explosions destroying everything in a one-mile oval radius. Maka absorbs each bomb into each tail and then exits the building. The entrance to the tower is in the distance. Maka dashes through a snowstorm while getting closer to the tower. A group of frost trolls starts to wander close to Maka they spot him and think they have found their next meal. Maka hears their shouting and turns his tails into slingshots and infuses his energy into bullets. Then Maka fires at the heads of the five approaching frost trolls, two get hit in the head and fall to the floor stunned. The other three swipe with their clubs and deflect the energy bullets. Maka forms large icicles from his tails and shoots them at the three trolls that start to run at him. Two of the icicles kill the trolls and the final troll throws his club at Maka. The club hits Maka on the head. It stuns him briefly the troll slams his fist on Maka who unleashes a shockwave of energy from his body with rage in his eyes. Maka turns his tails into energy cannons and fires an enormous blast of energy at the stunned trolls destroying all the snow in the area north of him. It also destroys the entrance door to the tower.

“That was close. Let’s hurry inside and I’ll plant the bombs.” Maka says.

“Good luck. Hopefully, it's warm inside not that I can feel much.” Val sighs.

Maka and Val enter the tower to see barricades and then alarms go off. Hundreds of Robots with massive chain guns enter. Some come equipped with flamethrowers too with barrels of fuel on their backs. The bullets start to rain down on Maka who channels his energy to stop them from moving and then slices them into shreds with katana tails. The flamethrowers start to shoot flames at Maka who inhales with his mouth and absorbs all the flames by inhaling. Maka turns his tails into vacuums and sucks all of the bullets while draining the flames as well. Maka converts the new energy and shoots green flames back at the front row of flamethrower robots. Maka then shoots green lightning at the group of robot's gas tanks causing them to explode. Maka’s eyes light up and he teleports around the room slashing robots with his tail swords. A group of razor-machine penguins approaches Maka from the distance. The machine penguins lock onto Maka and then fire missiles from their hands. The missiles hone in on Maka who deflects them back causing chaos to robots in the area. Maka explodes with energy knocking everything back and then goes into combat with these new penguin robots. They block his blows with their winged arms. Robotic hornets fly into Maka and attempt to spray him with a blue mist. Maka holds his breath and then does a cross slash which creates a shockwave killing everything north of him.

“This will take forever if I try to fight them all,” Maka says.

“Let’s run to the first objective then. In 50 meters is one of the four targets, a foundation pillar of the central tower.” Val states.

“I got an idea, it’s time for ricochet mode.” Maka squeaks.

Maka wraps his tails around himself and curls into a ball. Then he channels his energy setting himself on fire. Maka bounces off the ground into a wall and then transforms into a spike while cutting through robots. When he’s about to hit a wall, he switches back to a ball, then redirects as a spike plowing his way to the first foundation. Val can barely keep up with his speed but is still linked to him. At the first foundation are a group of snow monster ogres. They grit their icy teeth at Maka and then charge at him. Maka turns his tails into hands and deflects the swipes from the ogres. One of the snow monsters grabs one of Maka’s tails and rotates himself sending Maka smashing into the foundation pillar. Maka jumps back out and transforms a tail into a fist. Maka smashes all of his energy in a rage into his fist and smashes the snow monster's head. The impact from Maka’s fist tail into the ogre’s face creates an explosion. The remaining snow monsters charge Maka at once, who shoots beams of green energy from his eyes. They evaporate slowly as the beams shine on them. Maka turns his tails into green energy flamethrowers and melts the snow monsters into water.

“Everything has a weakness and I’ll exploit it.” Maka boasts.

“Good job now attach a bomb to the foundation pillar,” Val says.

Maka transforms one of his tails into a destruction explosive that he collected before, then carefully sets it at the bottom of the foundation.

“Three to go, we should set the bombs off after escaping the building,” Val states.

“Good idea. This has been a breeze so far, but chilly.” Maka says.

“Stay on guard, you never know what could happen. I’ve seen Reaper candidates fail when they let their guard down.” Val explains.

“I’ll be fine.” Maka flexes.

Alarms start blaring around the building.

“Warning the base is under attack. Initiation lockdown procedures. Find and kill the intruders.” A robotic voice announces from speakers in the corner of the room.

“Looks like it will get tougher, security on this planet is no joke,” Val states.

“Let’s go to the next foundation pillar. I’ll handle anything in my way.” Maka grins.

A new group of robotic guards and mech suits fly out at Maka. Maka turns his tails into boomerangs with spikes and throws them. The boomerangs cut through several of the robotic guards but the mech suits dodge them. Maka’s tails come back to him and he darts towards the enemies. Maka turns his tails into a death cannon and charges a super beam. Then fires several times destroying anything in his path. Maka runs into a locked-down security door and wraps himself in his tails until he forms a large cannonball. Maka charges his energy then like a wrecking ball smashes through the door. The new area looks like some sort of laboratory. It has a dark portal in the middle of the room and starts to summon creatures. Several imps and demons emerge from the portal. The energy from the creatures emerging creates a fire in the air.

“Time for another bonus game. Destroy the portal and stop it from summoning demons.” Val explains. Maka looks around and sees generators behind the portal in the distance.

“I’ll fight my way through and destroy those generators. They might be powering the portal.” Maka states.

“Good idea, good luck.” Val grins watching the swarm of demons surge on Maka.

The imps start to create fireballs while the medium-sized demons charge at Maka. Maka turns his tails into bazooka launchers and fires charged shots at the imps in the back. Then Maka turns his tails into a large claymore to slice through the demons. The hell spawns keep pouring out of the portal while Maka fights his way closer. Eventually, they stop coming out and Val looks confused. Then you hear a massive rumbling and the room starts to shake. You see a pair of large horns coming out of the portal. Then a massive demon head emerges. A huge claw emerges and swipes at Maka who gets knocked back into one of the walls with a crashing noise. Val gets scared and screams.

“Maka, are you okay?” Val asks as she flies closer to him. Maka emerges from the wall once more with a fire in his eyes.

“Yep, I’m fine, that guy looks nasty,” Maka says.

“Better find out a way to stop the portal from summoning it,” Val suggests.

Maka darts around the room destroying demons and avoiding the massive demon claws in the center. Maka turns his tails into hundreds of purple tentacles and destroys the horde of hellspawn. The demon in the center shoots a massive fireball from its mouth at Maka. The fireball comes into contact with Maka who turns his tails into a claymore once more. It slowly knocks Maka back but eventually, Maka knocks it back into one of the generators. The explosion destroys a generator and one of the devices to the portal goes offline. Maka grins and then shouts at the demon which provokes him. The demon keeps launching fireballs from his mouth at Maka. Maka keeps deflecting them at different areas in the room. All of the generators eventually explode after several explosions. The portal starts to implode and sucks everything in the room into it.

“Let’s get out of here,” Val shouts.

Maka doesn’t have any time to talk, the portal sucks the large demon back inside of it, then it starts to draw Maka closer to it. Maka fights back against the portal and turns his tails into jet engines to escape the room. Maka quickly escapes and a massive explosion happens behind him. The tower above starts to shake slightly.

“Bonus game complete, the reward is an energy recharge,” Val says and Maka feels his energy at full power once again.

“If only that explosion took out the whole building, I would be done with this world.” Maka grins.

“The building must be highly reinforced, it's essential to take out all the foundation pillars. We are close to the next pillar. I think the portal room was in the center of the building.” Val explains.

Maka quickly dashes towards the next pillar fighting random androids and robots along the way. It seems like they are still on high alert. Eventually, Maka makes it to a blast door and transforms into a wrecking ball to smash through. The center of the room has one of the four pillars and a giant mechanical scorpion guarding it. Several drones fly into the room with blasters on them. They fire at Maka and the scorpion shoots a large beam from his tail. Maka dashes left and right dodging the laser beams that attempt to hit him. Maka turns his tails into revolvers and shoots all the drones. Then he transforms his tails into mini rocket launchers and fires several rounds of rockets at the scorpion. The scorpion grips his claws together forming a shield that absorbs the impact of the rockets. The remaining rockets get knocked back by his tail and reflected elsewhere. Maka switches his tails into energy cannons and fires a mega blast at the scorpion. The scorpion uses his claws to form a super shield around his body and after the blast disperses, the scorpion remains unharmed.

“This third world is no joke.” Maka grins.

The scorpion fires a super beam from his tail and then runs up to Maka to fight him. Maka swiftly dodges the beam and then dodges a few swipes from the scorpion’s massive claws. The scorpion smashes his tail downwards at Maka which destroys the ground underneath it, creating a shockwave that knocks Maka back. Maka keeps jumping backwards as the mechanical scorpion advances and the scorpion strikes with his tail. The scorpion breathes out a poison mist at Maka. Maka curls into a ball to defend himself against the poison mist. After the mist passes by, Maka uncurls himself and turns his tail into a giant broadsword to fight back. Maka’s sword starts to slash at the scorpion’s tail and seems to be an even match. The scorpion swipes with his pincers and Maka quickly dodges. Maka turns his tails into an electric wire rope and tosses it at the legs of the scorpion. It connects to the scorpion’s legs and attaches to the floor. The scorpion is unable to move, so Maka throws another electric wire tail at the scorpion’s claws disabling them completely. The scorpion tries to attack with his tail but Maka transforms his tail into a broadsword. Then Maka slashes the scorpion's tail into multiple pieces and then cleanly cuts off the two claws. Maka turns his tails into a gravity cannon and then jumps in the air above the scorpion. Maka fires multiple shockwave blasts downwards at the trapped scorpion. The scorpion gets crushed into multiple pieces, destroying it instantly. Maka collects his tails and absorbs the surrounding area. Maka moves towards the foundation pillar and sets an explosive on it.

“Alright, two more, and then we are blowing this place sky-high.” Val gleams.

“Got it.” Maka proclaims.

Maka turns into a giant bullet and puts all of his energy into his momentum. Maka smashes his way through security doors and random stray security robots. A team of assault androids is behind a security door that Maka smashes into. Maka quickly turns back into his normal form, then changes his tails into throwing axes. Maka throws his axe tails at the assault androids. Some of them get damaged and the others attempt to fight back. Maka bounces around the room in rocket form and kills off most of the androids. The remaining androids combine together to form a mega android. Maka enters battle with the mega android and trades blow for blow. The mega android fires an energy cannon at Maka, who absorbs it by sucking up the blast with his vacuum tails. Maka then turns his tails into an energy cannon and fires the blast back. Maka destroys the mega android and absorbs its remains.

“You're getting stronger with every enemy you kill. Thanks to the cube you picked up in the first world.” Val states.

“Yep, are we close to the next pillar?” Maka asks.

“Just around this corner, be careful Maka,” Val suggests.

Maka starts to smell a foul odor coming from a vent connected to the next room. Maka runs up to the next set of security doors. Maka blasts through the door to uncover a pillar room, a large pillar is in the center of the room, Infront of it is a pile of sludge. Maka looks around to see a garbage disposal room on his left. Maka can smell a sewer system below him and a weird scent comes out of the vents below him.

“This place reaks. Let’s attach a bomb to the pillar and move on to the final pillar. Quickly, Maka.” Val advises.

“Wait something is wrong, why is there no boss here,” Maka asks.

A pile of sludge starts to come from the garbage disposal room and merge into other pieces of sludge near the pillar. Maka looks around at the vents in the walls and the vents are also placed in each corner of the room. Sludge starts to creep out from all the ventilation grates. They all merge into the pile at the center of the room. Once the sludge has gathered enough mass it starts to shift into a giant monster. The sludge monster keeps growing until it reaches the size of the room, and then it attacks Maka with its huge sludge hands. Maka turns his tais into octopus tentacles that attempt to push back against the sludge monster. The liquid is too thick to absorb so Maka changes his tails into claymores and blocks the sludges attacks. The sludge hands smash at the ground below Maka as he quickly dodges. The sludge keeps dripping off the sludge monster and attacks Maka as well. Then the monster throws sludge balls at Maka and the balls start to explode. Maka turns his tails into an umbrella to block the sludge bombs. The sludge weaves around the ground and surges at Maka. Maka dashes around the room while thinking of a way to destroy this monster. Maka fires an energy cannon shot from his tails at the sludge monster and the blast goes through it. Maka once more notices the garbage room and throws a large explosive tail bomb into the room. The tail bomb explodes causing a massive explosion and rocks fall from the ceiling blocking off the pillar room to the garbage disposal room. This stops the sludge from moving into the pillar room. Maka then runs around the room dodging sludge bombs and throwing a tail into each vent. Maka clogs all the vents and stops the sludge monster from gaining any more sludge. Then Maka channels his green energy and shoots green flames out of his tails at the sludge monster. This slow process burns the sludge into black pieces and eventually, Maka burns the entire sludge monster. Maka plants a plastic explosive tail at the pillar and then he leaves the pillar room.

“All you have to do is set one more bomb at the next pillar room,” Val explains.

“Let’s do this quickly, I can’t wait to see this explosion.” Maka grins.

Maka starts to charge his energy then his tails turn into wings and Maka darts through the air. Maka quickly dashes through random stray androids that block his path. Maka eventually makes it to a dark room. Maka turns his tail into a light and spots a group of ice gargoyles statues hanging on the ceiling. Their eyes light up and they swarm Maka. Maka uses his wings to slice through several of the ice gargoyles then turns two of tails into claws to swipe at them. The gargoyles shoot out ice bats from their mouths. The ice bats group up and fly into Maka, they explode causing ice explosions. Some of them chew through Maka’s tail wings. The ice bats and ice gargoyles keep flying into Maka attacking him, then flying backwards. Maka turns his tails into scythes and quickly cuts off each of the gargoyles' wings so they drop to the ground, then Maka hurls a green energy fireball at the ground melting their remains. Maka quickly shoots green energy into the air melting all of the remaining ice bats. Maka turns himself into a spear by merging his tails and then shoots through several security doors. After smashing through multiple doors, he enters the last pillar room of the building. Maka starts to sense danger in the air. Chameleon robots appear randomly around the room. The chameleons switch to stealth mode and disappear into the environment. They attack Maka while invisible and Maka gets knocked back into the pillar. Maka shoots out of the smashed background and attempts to randomly swipe with his tails but can’t hit anything.

“How can I kill what I can’t see?” Maka shouts.

“Sense their energy, Maka, everything in these different worlds has an energy force,” Val explains.

Maka channels his energy and starts to see the glowing outline of the chameleon robots. They are quickly moving towards him at hyper speed. Maka matches their speed by dashing back and forth. Maka then dashes in and fights with his katana tails. Maka forms a Z pattern with each of his slashes. After the chameleons are defeated Maka absorbs their energy and sets an explosive tail bomb at the pillar.

“Finally we are done, I’m one more step closer to becoming a Reaper.” Maka smiles.

“We still have one more world left and it’s the toughest. The planet is random in each of the Reaper trials so I don’t know what trouble we are getting into but I have faith in you Maka.” Val gleams.

“Let’s get out of here, I’m tired of dealing with these robots and androids. Then we’ll look for a safe place to watch the explosion.” Maka says.

“It’s almost like you’re a reaper already.” Val jokes.

“I was born for this.” Maka boasts. The walls start to shake and a distortion starts to happen that only Maka can see. An image of a hooded reaper briefly.

“You have an even greater purpose.” Mysterious hooded Reaper says.

“What are you?” Maka asks. The Reaper disappears quickly.

“Maka, are you okay?” Val asks and starts to shake Maka.

“Did you see that black-cloaked Reaper?” Maka asks Val.

“I don’t know what you're talking about, you froze for a second,” Val replies.

“It told me, I had a greater purpose,” Maka tells Val.

“What told you what? Val sighs and Maka is in a daze.

“Whatever, don’t zone out on me again,” Val states.

“Right let’s get out of here.” Maka charges his energy.

Maka turns into a spear and blasts through the building creating a large hole. Maka lands on the snow outside and looks up to see a giant mountain. Maka and Val both nod their heads, thinking that the peak of the mountain would be a good vantage point for the explosion. Maka transforms his body and tails into the shape of a rocket. Rocket Maka explodes and shoots into the air, Maka launches himself to the top of the mountain. Maka looks towards the giant tower and stands at the peak of the mountain. Maka turns a tail into a button and then presses it with a tail. The four bombs at each pillar of the foundation of the tower explode. The tower slants and then falls downwards creating several massive explosions when it hits the snow floor. Maka and Val grin as they watch the destruction.

“Objective Complete,” Val says.

“Ah, where’s the portal?” Maka asks.

“Looks like it's below us at the bottom of the mountain,” Val says.

“Great let’s shred some snow.” Maka grins and then turns his tails into a snowboard. Maka jumps into the sky and then lands back on the peak of the mountain. Maka snowboards down the mountain dodging trees left and right. Maka spots a slope and jumps off it. Maka does a tricky 360 in the air. Then lands comfortably back in the snow. Maka keeps sliding down the snowy mountain, doing tricks and shredding down the hill. After some time he makes it back down to the base of the mountain and notices a glowing black portal at the bottom. Maka does one final trick on his snowboard then he and Val jump into the portal.
