“It’s time to go to class now”, Mads tap the day dreaming Eagle on the shoulder as he was walking from field to field while pretending to be observing every animal outside the gates. Truth to be told, the real reason for walking from field to field was to find out where Tomi’s field is. Eagle had discovered that Mads lived the unit just left from his on the same day he discovered her field was next to his.

“I am coming”, Eagle responded not wanting to make his intentions obvious to the cheeky Mads.

In fact the petite brown haired and ocean blue eyes gave him the knowing look with a smirk on her face as if she knew something was up. In fact she did as despite her cutesy demeanour. “I will always be looking out for you”, she winked.

“I guess it’s because you like me, don’t you?”Eagle grinned at Mads hoping to earn some points with her.

“Don’t flatter yourself. There is another boy asking me out and he is one of Jake’s friends. You are just someone I would let’s say the word pity”.

"You can say that again. You are always where I am. Have you been stalking me. Even your field is next to mine".

"Bleh!"Mads stuck out her tongue again. "Class is starting. We don't want to be late on our first day". She walked into class ahead of Eagle but not before turning around to say. "If you are looking for Tomi's field, it is just right next to mind - on the left. In other words, my field is between your fields and her room is in the same unit as mine but don't bother looking for her as you and I know who comes frequently to visit her".

Eagle followed Mads into class and noticed Tomi whom middle left roll sitting by the window. The blonde girl had chosen her seat. Noticing an empty seat next to her, Eagle attempted to sit next to his crush.

That hope was destroyed when she shouted out. "Mads come and sit by my side. I do not want this SIMP sitting next to me". Tomi pointed at Eagle while looking at Mads.

"Sorry Eagle", Mads looked into Eagle's green eyes with her ocean blue eyes with a cutesy pout giving him the look of pity.

Every other person refused to let Eagle sit with them either by saying, "Go away" or putting their belongings on the seat next to them or calling their friends over. The most polite rejection he ever got was, "Sorry seat taken".

Ann was sitting with her new gothic boyfriend whom she had met immediately after Mona left the school. Eagle met him in his unit after saying goodbye to his favourite teacher and that is how they met. The only person whom Eagle could sit next to was Bob who is also considered a 'leftover' like himself and was sitting at the back of the class sleeping on the far right of the class.

Eagle took his seat and took a look around the class, it was quite huge. There were a few hundred chairs and tables and one big blackboard. This brought back memories about Mona who was suppose to be coming in to teach them would not be entering as she was fired which made Eagle sad. Ten minutes passed and no teacher arrived.

"We are on our own!" Mads called out.

"Lets have some fun", Tomi shouted. The class began to grow louder and louder and friends moved their chairs closer to the leader of their groups to talk. Mads and Tomi were surrounded by a few guys from Jake's group and Bob remained asleep. Ann and her new boyfriend had ear phones on the right and left of their respective ears listening to some heavy metal music on her i pad.

Mads took a quite glance at Eagle who was looking their direction and flashed him a smile before turning back to the group.

"What should I do?" asked Eagle elbowing a sleeping Bob.

"Nothing. Just sleep", Bob woke up briefly and answered groggily before falling back to sleep.

Twenty minutes passed and no teacher arrived. The class kept growing louder. Suddenly, without warning, Principal King arrived and yelled, "BE QUITE! You are interrupting the other classes".

Wanting to play the hero, Eagle spoke up, "If you had not fired Mona none of this would happen!"

"Alright wise guy. If you want to be such as smart ass, I guess doing a hundred push ups shouldn't be a problem for you".

"We would not have been punished this way in other schools".

"This is not like other schools. We are top class and the reason all of you are on boarding school is because we take the place of your parents. Without discipline, you cannot control your animals. Give me a hundred push up on your knuckles".

"What if I don't?" Eagle continued trying to act smart. Mads was looking at him shaking her head while Tomi was giggling.

"How about twenty rounds around the block?"

Eagle did not want to do either but he knew that running pass the block will mean passing by Jake's class and he wanted to minimise as much contact with the tall boy with brown hair as possible as did not want to give his former best friend more room to humilate him later on. Not that it matters anyway as Jake's friends and even Tomi would tell him later on.

He choose to do a hundred push ups. Taking off his shirt as a lame attempt to impress the girls, Eagle began to do his push ups. He started off well but began to tire after doing twenty.

"Keep going", Principal King continued sternly. "If you fail, you will be sent off to another school".

Not wanting to move back with his parents, Eagle persisted and even though his body was beginning to sweat he tried as hard as he could to continue.

"Alright. Thats is enough. I will let you off this time but next time, it is all the way or nothing. Make sure you exercise a lot more. You look really weak. Put on your shirt, you are not impressing any girl today". Principal King took pity on him.

Eagle walked back to his seat with his tail between his leg looking like a whipped puppy.

"Your teacher will be coming in tomorrow. I will not tell you who he or she is as it will be a surprise but whoever that person is, he or she will be better than Mona. That I promise all of you. I apologise for Mona's misconduct". These were the words which put Principal King on Eagle's hate list.

Turning to Eagle, the principal spoke to him once more, "Stop calling yourself Eagle. You are Mike Green. Keep calling yourself that name and no one will take you seriously".

Some of the students especially these from Jake's clique burst out laughing.
