Two hours later…
Exhaustion tugged at my limbs as I reached the base of the mountain. My eyes widened at the sight of an ominous-looking door, exuding an eerie pressure that felt mentally draining. It was as if the air itself buzzed with an unseen force. "Is this... magic? Psychic magic?..i had spiritual resistance didn't I?" I muttered, my curiosity piqued.
"If so, then let's gooooo!!!!"
Just then, instinct took over. "Careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I shouted to myself, ducking instinctively. A thin, deadly string shot through the spot where my head had been a split second earlier. The realization hit me hard: my adventure would have ended right there if I hadn't moved in time.
My gaze shifted, and I saw it: a spider with eight legs, six red eyes, and a body completely covered in a silver sheen, resembling a knight’s armor or a shield-like face. Its presence was menacing.
"HAH... hah," I panted, taking deep breaths to steady myself. "That was almost like a bullet passing through my forehead. Huh, strangely, I remember this thing, or rather equipment, called a pistol."
Without warning, another string appeared, this time above the spider’s shield-like face. It thrust forward like a spear or a rapier, its speed and range far surpassing that of any ordinary cold weapon. Though it wasn't sharp, its velocity made it lethal, capable of piercing through a humanoid body effortlessly.

It's fast, but not impossible to evade, I thought. I can avoid the fire since it moves in a straight line. I just need to stay out of its direct path, just like thi!!!!
Crack, bang!
The spider’s web suddenly whipped to the left, striking me with a force that sent me flying. I crashed into a tree with a brutal impact, splintering the trunk and causing debris to rain down around me.
Cough, cough. (spits blood)
"Shit, four ribs cracked. Luckily not broken, but I can't put strain on them, or they will it going to be a pain... It totally sliped my mind that magic existed. It's something that I've never seen, but I guess that creature is using it to move and control its thread."
The devastation around us was evident. Trees lay severed, their trunks cleanly sliced by the spider’s web. The ground was churned and torn, and the air was thick with the scent of sap and earth. The spider's webbing shone in the sunlight as if ready to stab at any moment.
"It's useless to predict where it's gonna move. Magic isn't something I can see or predict. What can I do? I’ll focus on dodging and plan for it. I think it's possible to dodge if I divert all my attention to it, but I won't be able to counter or run. And with the existence of magic and my inability to currently use it, I will probably run out of stamina before that monster, but..."
"Impossible… that's a word my heart says doesn't exist i should strive to be like those hero's in my miscellaneous knowledge"
"So my options are either to learn magic or skill or try to recall my memories for a suitable skill I may or may not have learned. or form a plan to beat it with my current abilities"
"I think I'm gonna go with trying magic while also thinking of plan if I don't awaken some miraculous power... because I really cant run or have any means of approaching and attacking it currently" said Kee to himself as he dodged and deflected the the string whip as well as the occasional ball of web shot.
