Right now at this moment, I am chasing rabbits like a madman… Why am I doing this, it was because of the subjugation quest I decided to take… How stupid of me to think that it was that easy. Sometimes I wonder if the menu status on intelligence is even correct at all, it could probably mean that I got no intelligence whatsoever, or I got an excessive amount and my brain can’t process it.

Either way, I need to find a way to kill rabbits. Then, I remembered that I had killed people in this world back in the alleyway. I didn’t even know how I should think because due to my manga knowledge, the ones that didn’t fight back are the ones that stood on the bottom, if I continued to kill people, I would not feel any guilt probably because my morals which built on my memory in the previous world were gone. I don’t have any memory of what my life used to be like, so I am myself yet I don’t feel like myself. However, being an antagonist doesn’t sound so bad, going against the unfair world and gathering a harem, though I don’t know what the point of that. Thinking about harem, the protagonist starts with slaves as their first ones, if I remember my knowledge…

I am getting off track, time to think about a way to kill these rabbits. As I was thinking, the moves that were used to kill the people that were trying to kill me were something like an air blade. I wonder if I could use that on the rabbits.

I walked to where I last saw the rabbits, and so I gathered the power that I felt last time and enchant the blade and swung it. The transparent air blade flew toward the rabbits, before hitting the rabbits, it disappeared.

Aw man, I knew that there would be a limit to this, but I thought it could at least be more overpowered. Judging from the distance, the air blade reached about five steps, and the rabbits could detect you from seven steps away.

But the rabbits didn’t even react when the air blade was just about to hit them, which means if I just throw my sword at them directly, I would be able to kill them. I trust in my dexterity stats, it’s S- rank, how bad could it be?

I drew my sword and aim, then I pulled my arm as far as I could and threw the sword straight toward one of the rabbits. The sword pierces through the rabbit’s stomach and body, which caused the rabbit to die instantly. The companion noticed that their kin had died and their eyes began to glow red as they advanced toward me at bullet speed. I barely dodged their sharp teeth. Then they began to turn around and began the second round, I took my stance as well and this time, I stabbed toward the rabbit’s mouth who was jumping at me midair while planning on biting me.

I didn’t know how to bring it back in town but I thought it would be unacceptable to bring it in with blood dripping, so I began the draining process. As I was hanging them upside down, I began to think about what I did to rabbits as well as the thugs that were planning to rob me. To be fair, I did give the thugs a chance to leave me alone, but they didn’t listen to it, but to their defense, I technically did kill one of the first before I speak out peace, so it really wasn’t right for me. Yet, it was a life or death situation. They did land a hit on me first, so does it count as self-defense? As for the rabbits, I could say we eat meat all the time which came from dead animal corpses. Would it be much of a difference if I began to kill them? I really don’t know which moral I should set for myself, but this I am sure about, if people intend to kill me, I would have to return their intention.

“Nice, the blood is drained now”

I said while finishing my train of thought. I collected what was left of the body which was only the skin and meat because I threw away the innards and drained the blood. It’s too bloody disgusting for me. Get it? BLOOD-y… I can’t believe I am making a pun to myself.

I picked up my sword and sheath it, before collecting both of the rabbits and head back to town.

“Here is the quest rewards as well as the money from selling the materials.”

I said my thanks and left the guild. I earned four papers today. I also learned that the name for the paper is franc, welp there also higher currency exchange, such as five-franc is one small gold coin. Then, four small gold coins become one big iron coin, which five of the big iron coins become one big gold coin. The guild receptionist told me a rumor about silver coins circulating for nobles, but it is just a rumor.

He also suggested getting a party since if I wanted to earn more money or becoming more famous would need me finishing more dangerous quests such as dragons and other subjugation.

For the time being, I decided to go back to Hope’s Beacon and eat some lunch since it’s clearly past noon due to the fighting and hunting. I was hoping to eat a nice lunch in return for the energy I spend running around. I walked in the inn and found that it was more populated yet my seat from this morning wasn’t taken so I took my spot again after I requested lunch from the receptionist.

While I wait for lunch, I thought about tomorrow's event. I think I might be able to find some clue as to why I am here now and who I am entirely.

“Here is your food, enjoy.”

“Thanks, Delfer.”

“By the way, your jacket and shirt have a slash hole, did you get caught on anything while you went out of town?”

“Don’t worry about it, I think it was there the whole time.”

“Alright then, cya, and ask me anything if you need help.”

Once Delfer walked away, I had a mental breakdown, I nearly forgot that I got slashed with my right arm, but it looked fine right now, it no longer bleeding and it doesn’t have a scar. I wonder if this was normal. However, my clothes are a problem, there is a horizontal line on my right sleeve for both of my jacket and shirt. I need to find a store that can repair it, while I am at it, I might as well switch clothing since my clothing does make me seem like I am from another continent, but I don’t know if this world even has another continent. I ate lunch which contained a lot of meat and vegetables and was on my way to find a store that could repair my clothing.
