Chapter 10: Team Preparations

There was no entrance room this time or corridor they had to walk down to reach the first group of monsters. Instead they appeared in a large stone room much like many of the other rooms that had come before, but this one was at least twice the size and there were no entrances or exits anywhere in the room. It was completely enclosed and they had been transported directly inside. In the center of the room, there stood a massive goblin who was already watching them as they arrived.

The goblin was far larger than any he had seen up to date, and if Daniel remembered correctly he believed that Steve had called it a hobgoblin. While it certainly was huge, that was only when compared to other goblins. By human standards it was somewhat larger than taller than and taller than an average human male. From the distance separating Daniel and the hobgoblin he thought that they might be around the same height, but he wasn't certain because of the distance. Daniel stood at a height of six foot three and had the broad shoulders and thick arms common for blacksmiths, and at a distance the hobgoblins build seemed almost equal to Daniels.

The mini boss did not seem eager to start the battle, so Daniel used this time to check out the boss's gear. In its hands was a two-handed greatsword. It wore a chainmail vest and what looked like a chainmail and leather skirt; it looked common to what the roman legionnaires used to wear, but Daniel couldn't be sure he had never been great with armor and had specialized with weapons instead. The goblin wore no other armor that protected his arms, lower legs, and head. Daniel went ahead and used ‘Identify’ on the goblin as he gestured for Kota to begin circling around the room to get behind the boss.

Race: Monster

Hobgoblin Tier 2

Core Refinements: 0

Details: Goblins are the first evolution path a goblin can take. They are larger and stronger than their smaller counterparts, and just as vicious. Hobgoblins are considered the muscle for goblin tribes and are used by some of their more intelligent kin as enforcers to keep their lesser kin in line.

This hobgoblin was the first tier two monster Daniel had seen. He had figured he would see one eventually. The higher he had climbed in the solo dungeon the more core refinements the monsters he faced had. It seemed like after four core refinements a monster advanced to the next tier. It was only a theory, but considering that the goblins on the last floor had been tier 1 with 4 core refinements and this hobgoblin was tier 2 with zero it seemed like a safe assumption. It was also interesting for Daniel to see an evolved form of a goblin. The description of the hobgoblin also implied there were still more kinds of goblins that he hadn't yet seen.

Kota had continued to walk around the exterior of the room to flank the boss as Daniel had looked over the results of his ‘Identify’ skill. Kota was at about a ninety-degree angle from Daniel almost in the boss’s blind spot. Daniel wanted to give the boss something other than Kota to keep his attention on, so Daniel made his move. He began to sprint towards the boss and as soon as he did the hobgoblin began to act as well.

The goblin set its feet weapon at the ready to take Daniel charge, but Daniel wasn't going to let the goblin fight back. He intended for this to be a slaughter. When Daniel decided he was now close enough he activated the enchantment on his new maul ‘Ice Fang.’

Daniel pointed the spiked end of the maul at the boss and triggered the enchantment. Daniel did know how he knew how to activate the enchantment since he had never activated one before, but the knowledge was just inside Daniel's mind on what he needed to do.

The spike shot off towards the boss rapidly closing the remaining distance. The boss seemed surprised at the attack and while it did try to move out of the projectiles way he wasn't completely able to as the icicle stuck the hobgoblin the the shoulder and pierced its worn armor. The spike didn't penetrate far, but that didn't matter for long. Right after the spikes momentum completely stopped it exploded causing shards of ice to pierce through the weakened part of the hobgoblins chainmail into its body while also causing dozens of superficial lacerations on the boss’s face and exposed left arm nearest to the epicenter of the explosion.

The pain caused by his attack caused the boss to let out an ear-ringing roar. A second after the noise reached Daniel he felt his limbs become slightly heavier and his movements became sluggish. Daniel didn't know what the hobgoblin had done, but it only slowed Daniel down for a moment before he was able to push through the effects and keep running towards the boss.

The boss was still reeling from the explosion of ice shards when Daniel arrived.

Daniel planted his feet and directed the momentum of his charge into the swing of his maul. At the same time he also activated ‘Heavy Blow’ and ‘Quickened Blow.’ Unfortunately because of his sudden stop Daniels swing was a little off from where he had been aiming, and the activation of ‘Quickened Blow’ when sped up his swing his aim was even further off from where he had intended. So, instead of hitting the boss in the center of its chest as he had intended Daniel instead hit the boss in its other uninjured shoulder.

Daniel's strike had been intended to end the fight instantly, and while he did not accomplish that goal his attack had not been entirely wasted. When his strike hit the hobgoblin its shoulder turned into a fine red mist as it was almost vaporized by the impact of his attack. With its shoulder gone there was nothing left that kept the hobgoblin's sword arm attached to its body. Daniel with his attack had inadvertently severed the goblins arm with the sheer kinetic impact of his attack.

Daniel had no idea what the effect his attack had caused because he had problems of his own to deal with. The remaining momentum of his attack had spun him around and caused Daniel to lose his balance and fall facing away from the boss. He scrambled back to his feet, and just as he did Kota made his move.

Kota came charging in from behind the boss and leapt onto the bosses back. Kota with his large size and weight was able to easily knock the off balance goblin to the ground. The hobgoblin with only one semi functioning arm was unable to brace itself for the fall and smashed face first into the stone floor. Daniel heard its nose break as its face made contact with the floor.

Kota then began to rip into the back of the hobgoblin's neck in an effort to end the fight. The boss tried to fight back and began to activate some skill to save its life. A red mist began to leak out of its body and Daniel saw muscles on its legs and one remaining arm begin to bulge and grow in size, but it was far too late for the goblin. Kota managed to damage something important in the goblins neck with a violent shake of his head, and just like that the fight was over. Blue light left the hobgoblins body and entered Kota which signaled to Daniel that the boss really had been defeated.

The red mist stopped leaking out of the hobgoblin and its muscles returned to their normal size. Daniel had to assume it was some kind of empowerment skill, but the boss had been unable to use it before it had been defeated.

Daniel stared at the carnage that he and Kota had caused to the hobgoblin. Blood was everywhere, and Daniel felt his gorge rise at the sight. He had never really thought about it before, but when Kota had been ripping into the Hobgoblin it had been struggling to stay alive. While this was supposed to be training for the hero’s in this moment it didn't feel right.

Daniel knew he would have to face creatures like these after the system fully integrated, because why else would the system be forcing them to fight and grow stronger. Daniel had faced goblins in the real world before being chosen as a hero, and had seen what they were capable of. After that day he had sworn to grow stronger to protect people. To protect the innocent. Daniel might feel bad for this goblin that he and Kota had just killed, but he knew that if the rolls had been reversed the hobgoblin would not have given a second thought about killing him and Kota. These creatures were monsters, and Daniel would need to think of them as such. Thoughts like he was having right now could cause his or someone else's death in the heat of battle. Daniels firmed his resolve as light enveloped his body as he and Kota were brought back to the main room of the training hall.

Congratulations! You have cleared the fifth floor of the ‘Solo Dungeon’ you and your companion have gained 3,000 Exp. You receive 1,500 coins.

For Defeating the Hobgoblin Mini-Boss Chieftain Goltheraxe please choose your reward.

An item personalized to you, or an item personalized for your animal companion Kota.

Daniel of course wanted to get the item for himself, but he pushed that part of him down and thought about the options logically. Daniel already had Ice Fang, a great weapon and its enchantment had already proved very useful to his fight in the dungeon. Daniel could also make more items for himself or purchase them from the shop. He had no idea what kind of items he could make for a dog. Though if the system really was as big as Daniel suspected then he could probably also find some items to purchase for Kota as well.

There was also the fact that in terms of strength Daniel was currently a lot stronger than Kota. Getting an item that is custom made for Kota could be a boon for his future development. If he did give the reward to Kota then going forward he would now have an idea of what kinds of items would be helpful for him. With those thoughts the decision became clear to Daniel and he made his decision.

Item Received: Claws of the Ice Born Bear

Quality: Superb

Rarity: Scarce

Enchantment quality: Superb

Enchantment Rarity: uncommon

Effect: When activated make claws of variable length appear and disappear at will.

Description: This item was made from the claws of an Ice born bear. These are bears who find areas of extreme mana density and slowly take on the element's aspects to more easily live in its new environment. These beasts are extremely hard to track and kill when within their mana habitats. The most common way for hunters to kill an elemental bear of this kind is to lure it out of its habitat with mana of a higher quality than where they are located and ambush it once it has left.

When attached to an animal companion's front paws they can be extended to produce the razor-sharp claws of an ice-born bear up to six inches to attack opponents.

A second after he had finished reading about the item it appeared on the ground in front of Daniel. There of a better rarity and quality than anything Daniel had been able to make so far. From the description alone, these seemed like a great item for Kota. They would greatly increase the amount of damage he would be able to inflict. Currently, the only way he could really eliminate targets was with his bite. Having another way to inflict damage would be great. The best part was that they were retractable, meaning that they wouldn't get in Kota’s way while moving around. Bending down he picked them up and called over Kota who had been watching him closely with his head tilted in a questioning way like dogs often did. Kota padded forward and stopped in front of Daniel before sitting back down on his haunches. He was still glowing with a blue light as the mana he had absorbed was being processed by his body. Daniel wondered why it was taking so long. Usually Kota would absorb the mana instantly. Daniel quickly checked Kotas evolution progress in his character sheet and confirmed that it hadn't changed and was still at 76%. Kota seemed fine, so for the moment he dismissed his concerns.

Daniel focused back on the present and looked at Kota and then back at the apparent weapons in his hands. They were very weird looking and he didn't quite know how these would effectively be attached to an animal. Each of the things was four small triangular cones that had no bottom and were hollow. They appeared as if they would go over the tips of Kota’s claws, kind of like a cap. The caps were connected together by a stretchy cloth that looked like it would wrap around Kota’s ankle that would hold the caps in place. Daniel just shrugged and decided to give it a shot.

He knelt down in front of Kota and grabbed his front left leg, and lifted it up to rest on his leg so he could work. It took him a second to figure out which one of the claw weapons went on which foot, but he managed to figure it out after a little bit of trial and error. He began to put the claw caps onto Kotas claws then attached the cloth to his ankle so that the claws wouldn't fall off. However that turned out not to be an issue as the claw caps were perfectly shaped to fit Kota’s claws. Once all of the cpas were in place and the cloth secured there was a flash of blue mana the color of ice and the weapon began to slightly change and morph.

The claw caps extended to fully encompass Kota claws, and the stretchy cloth expanded to fully cover Kota’s paws making a sort of cloth shoe. The cloth wouldn’t provide any protection for Kota, but thankfully it also wouldn't get in the dog's way. Daniel put down the first paw and lifted the other one and repeated the process of attaching the weapon. Like before, once he attached the weapon it reformed to fit Kota even more perfectly than before. After that was done Daniel stood and stepped away from Kota.

Kota seemed concerned about his new foot coverings at first and very gently and hesitantly took a couple steps. At first Kota did that thing you see on the internet when people put shoes on dogs for the first time. Kotas first steps were hesitant and awkward. It took him several minutes to get a feel for the new contraptions on his feet. The metal tips on the claws didn't seem to impede him at all; it was only the cloth rapping his feet that caused him trouble. After that slight hang up Kota was bounding around the room with his new claws with no problems. However now that Kota had gotten a feel for the weapons Daniel had a problem of his own. How was he going to get Kota to enchantment on the item and extend the claws.

Based on the description of the item they worked on willpower or intent. Kota didn't have very high mental stats. For a dog he was smart, but Daniel didn't know how well that would transfer to using the item. Daniel thought for a second before coming up with a new plan of attack.

Steve had only been gone for about an hour or two from Daniel's perspective so he would still have at least a couple more hours before he returned. Now would be a good time to go to the Sparring hall to get Kota to learn how to use these weapons. He just hoped it wouldn't be too difficult. Kota had seemed to get smarter after becoming a part of the system and hoped that would be enough.

~~~~~~
About an hour later of Daniel trying to get Kota to extend the claws and attack something he realized that this wasn't going to work. Kota seemed to think that this was all a game and he was just having the time of his life as Daniel mimed swiping imaginary claws at the target dummies. Kota would do the same mimicking what Daniel was doing, but only what he was doing and not his intent. Kota wasn't smart enough to make the connection between the new claws wrapping his feet, and what Daniel was trying to get him to do.
It was then that the blue light of mana that had been leaking out of Kota stopped. A moment later a new notification entered his vision and Daniel smiled at what he read.
Companion Evolution Progress: 76% -> 100%
Congratulations, your companion: Kota has reached their second evolutionary threshold. Please choose what mutation your companion will gain. Choices are based on the accumulated absorbed mana.
Time remaining before spontaneous mutation: 9 minutes and 59 seconds
Daniel was grinning from ear to ear. If he was able to choose a mutation for Kota that increased his intelligence, maybe just maybe Kota would be able to figure out how to use his new claw weapons.
Daniel opened up the menu and began to read through the list of available mutations for Kota. Most of them unsurprisingly revolved around increasing his physical stats, but there were a couple of options that he thought could help his current situation.
Tier 1 Beast Mutation:
Eyes of the Night Stalker: While you hunt no prey can escape your eyes.
Effect (Passive): Greatly improved night vision. Shadows will help you track your prey. This effect is greatly enhanced in absolute darkness or during the night, and weakened during the day.
Stats: +4 Perception, +1 Intelligence
Tier 1 Beast Mutation:
Minor Shadow Sense: If you live in darkness long enough it will eventually become your friend
Effect (Passive): Gain a greater understanding of the shadows, and some minor control over them.
Stats: +3 Intelligence, +2 Willpower
The first skill was interesting and did somewhat increase Kota’s intelligence, but that was really only a secondary effect and not the focus of the mutation. The second mutation seemed almost less useful than the first, but it gave the stats that Daniel was looking for. Besides just the stats, the mutation also gave Daniel an idea on the path that Kota could possibly evolve into. Many of Kota’s mutations involved or mentioned something about darkness or shadows. If Kota was able to control the shadows as well it could be quite the combo.
While the first skill seemed more useful in the short term the second could prove to be a great boon for Kota later. Hoping that he was not making a mistake Daniel chose ‘Shadow Sense’ for Kota. Daniel waited for some external change to appear on Kota as his first mutation had done, but no external change occurred. At Least not one that Daniel saw.
Daniel was hopeful that with Kota’s new jump in intelligence and willpower he would be able to understand. Daniel watched Kota waiting to see if something would happen after his evolution. About a minute later Kota who had still been running around the room playing stopped and looked at Daniel. Kota walked to Daniel and sat down on his haunches and watched Daniel.
Not knowing what else to do Daniel raised one of his hands in the shape of a claw just like before and swiped at the dummy that was in front of him. Kota looked at him a bit confused, but there was a different light in his eyes than there had been just a little while before. This time Daniel picked up one of Kotas paws and used it to swipe at the dummy then he repeated the action with his own hand before stepping back.
Kota sat on his haunches looking at his paws then back to Daniel for several seconds. A couple of times Kota lifted one of his paws off the ground as if to swipe at the target before setting it back on the ground. This went on for about a minute before out of nowhere claws of metal six inches long came bursting out of Kotas front paws. Then within the span of several seconds the claws retracted before extending again.
This in and out motion repeated for a while as Kota just sat looking at his paws as he extended and retracted the claws over and over again. Then with the claws fully extended Kota tried to walk forward and tripped over his own feet and fell onto the ground face first. He tried again with the same result. Then Kota looked at Daniel asking a silent question.
Daniel approached amazed at what Kota was doing. He tried miming again. He mimed with his hands to shorten the claws. This time Kota almost immediately figured out what he was trying to get him to do. It was also then that Daniel realized that he was being an idiot. Dogs were good with voice commands; it was probably the most common way to train dogs by using sound and gestures. Daniel put the palm of his right hand and put it to the tip of his fingers on his left hand. Then he raised his right hand away from his fingers while saying “Extend.” When Kota extended the claws Daniel nodded and then reversed the motion bringing his right palm back to his left finger tips, and said “Retract.” Kota once again did what was instructed. They repeated this several more times until Daniel was sure Kota had the hang of it even without his gestures, and just the audio commands.
Daniel then approached the target dummy and motioned for Kota to follow. Daniel got down on all fours with his hand pressed to the floor similar to how Kota stood. He then raised one hand off the floor and said “Extend.” and swiped at the target then said “Retract.” before he brought his hand to the floor again.
Kota seemed to understand and approached the target dummy next to Daniel and did the same thing Daniel had done, extending his claws swiping at the target before retracting them again. After they got the hang of that things got a lot more fun for the both of them.
~~~~~~

After another hour, this one was much more fruitful than the last; he and Kota had done all sorts of things. Running leaps extending his claws mid-air to stab into the opponent while taking them to the ground before ripping into the dummies necks out. Cutting hamstrings of some of the shadow entities that Steve had faced, and such.

During this time Daniel only had one real hand up when training Kota on how to use the claws. He had to teach Kota how to extend the claws only part way. So far every time Kota had extended the claws it seemed like he was extending them to their max length every time. With how long the claws were when fully extended it made it impossible for Kota to run when fully extended. Daniel needed to teach Kota to only extend the claws part way. That way he was still able to run and move around without problems.

After working with Kota and the claw for a while Daniel was quite thankful to find out that when the claws were extended it also added extra metal around the ‘knuckle’ of the attached claw for extra support and bracing. The stretchy material also became almost rigid when the claws were extended. This meant that Kota wouldn't just rip off one of his claws when using the weapons. Though even with that built in extra protection Kota had learned quickly that extending the claws fully was a good way to get hurt. With all the extra leverage when the claws were fully extended he could easily hurt himself if he wasn't careful.

Once when Kota pounced onto one of the target dummies his claws went clean through its body. Kota's momentum knocked the dummy prone. The problem happened when Kota momentum had continued to move him forward off the dummy while his claws were still lodged in the training dummy's chest. Kota had been hurt, but thankfully the Training Hall was able to provide healing, and Kota was back on his feat only minutes later.

After this first incident Kota learned to immediately retract the claw after an attack no matter what. Kota had learned to do this all on his own without any of Daniel's help. This really showed Daniel how much Kota was learning all on his own, and how much increasing Kota’s intelligence had done.

Daniel was just happy with how much progress they were making and after about another thirty minutes of practicing; Daniel with his maul and Kota with his claws Steve returned.

Steve found Kota and Daniel the same way They had found Steve; fighting against shadowy creatures in the weapons hall. From their perspective several hours had passed since Steve had left, but from his perspective just over an hour had passed.

“Well, I see you boys were busy while I was gone.”

“Yes, we were. Kota and I managed to kill that Mini-Boss on the fifth floor. I chose to give my reward for clearing the floor to Kota. “

“That's good to hear. Well, I got some news of my own.”

“Did you manage to get in contact with some of the other heroes?”

“Indeed I was able to. A number of them reached out to contact me as I had hoped, but I only managed to get immediate responses from a few. The others I wasn't able to contact were probably in their own Training Halls. Hopefully they will leave the hall at some point and receive my messages. The ones I did manage to contact were happy to answer some questions about themselves and their classes and such, but when I brought up the possibility of meeting up they got skittish. Out of the three I managed to talk to two of them declined meeting up, but one did accept my offer. They also live in the US, but they will need to take a flight to get here. They should hopefully be here this evening assuming they get on the first possible flight they can.”

“What's their name, and you said you asked about classes and such what their class?”

“His name is Josh Parker. Funnily enough, he’s a park ranger over in one of the northern national parks. He was on a job to kill a bear that had gone feral in the area. It had almost attacked a couple of hikers, so he was sent out to deal with it. When he was out hunting the bear he found a different creature already eating the corpse of the bear he had come to kill. He managed to take it out with his rifle, and got access to the system. Apparently, he has some kind of earth mage, Or I think he might have called it terramancy. Not completely sure he didn't tell me the exact name of his class.”

“Well, it's good to know that at least one more of the heroes is willing to work with us. Do you think you will manage to convince some of the others to join us as well?”

“Not sure, but I did manage to find something else interesting out. Well, you know that hero who died, Lukas Kisan?”

“Yeah, what about him?”

“Well, I did a little digging afterwards and found out he has a brother whose name is Evan. Well, I managed to find some contact information for him online and reached out to him. It turns out that Evan is also one of the heroes.”

“Apparently, he and his brother became heroes at the same time. He was one of the ones that we’re being a bit skittish. After his brother's death, he doesn't know if he wants to continue with this hero business.” Steve just sighed and shook his head. “It’s honestly understandable. It's only been a couple of days since his brother's death, and here I am asking him if he wants to join us. I feel bad for the man, but I am trying to get him to agree to come and at least talk to us.”

“Man, that really sucks. I didn't even know either of them, but when I got the message about Lukas's death it almost felt personal. Like a friend I hadn't talked to in a while or fell out of touch with had died. I can't help but feel for Evan.”

“Yeah, I know what you're saying,” Steve let out a long breathy sigh. “I have a feeling that this is going to be hard on all of us sooner rather than later.” Steve and Daniel just looked at one another for a long moment, a silent understanding passing between them before Steve broke the silence. “Well, shall we go see what this Team Dungeon is all about.”

“Sure, I’m ready. Do we have a plan of attack or strategy before entering?”

“I’m not too sure. I have only worked alone in the solo dungeon. What have you and Kota been doing up to this point?”

“Well, I have been taking the attention of any monsters we encounter while Kota tries to sneak and take a few out while they are focused on me. Kota is more stealth based while I hit hard and have several passive skills that make me hard to damage especially with my armor.”

“Well, that doesn't seem like a bad plan. I can just stay behind you and cast my spells. I can also make sure that none of the creatures we face get behind you or in your blind spots. At least for right now a simple plan is probably better. We can come up with different strategies once we have some of our teamwork down, or something comes up and we need to change them.”

“Sounds like a plan. Shall we?” Daniel said.

“Yes, we Shall.”

Kota also let out a bark in agreement.

“Well it sounds like we are all in agreement.”

Together they walked over to the entrance to the Team Dungeon and tried to enter it. Nothing happened. No portal appeared when they approached, so Daniel reached out and touched the portal entrance with his hand.

Please select the number of Party members that will be entering the Team Dungeon.

Daniel Chose two since Kota up to this point had counted as a part of him like with the solo dungeon, and not a separate entity.

Confirmed. The Team Dungeon is a repeatable instance, and scales to the number of Heros and their level upon entering. You can leave the Team Dungeon at any time by returning through the portal in your starting area.

If you leave the instance without completing the challenge you will have to wait 24 hours before being allowed to enter and attempt another instance. If you do manage to clear your instance you will have to wait for a total of 8 hours before being allowed to enter again.

Each floor is randomly generated, and will have a minimum of one boss encounter within. Please proceed with caution.

Good Luck Heroes!

“Did you get that message as well Steve?”

“I did. You know it's cool that we can basically challenge this as many times as we want and it will always be a challenge. Well, that's not completely true, we will still have to wait a little while between delves.”

“Yeah, but that's not the part I'm worried about,” Daniel said. “It said a minimum of one boss. That could mean there is more than one or even a mini-boss like on floor 5 of the solo dungeon.”

“That is true. And now that we're talking about it I’m worried that we might not be ready for this?”

“What do you mean?”

“Well, I don't know about you, but before the system, I never really fought anything before let alone killed stuff. Now here we are killing monsters like it's no big deal. Risking our lives for some future unknown threat that's going to appear after the system countdown.” Steve was waving his arms wildly articulating his point. “And I’m concerned that this instance might be harder than any of the solo dungeon floors we have done. We have hardly made any preparations whatsoever, and we can't leave unless we want to wait 24 hours before trying again.”

“You make a good point. I have some fighting experience myself. When you make weapons for a living you have to have a basic understanding about how the weapons you are making work. As for equipment I have my armor and weapons, but that's it.”

Daniel let out a thoughtful hum before continuing. “You know I used to play some of those older tabletop games, and every time our characters would go into a dungeon we would have all kinds of things with us. Food, water, rope, lanterns, potions, and other useful magical items. We currently have none of that and based on that message we have no idea what we will be walking into in the team dungeon if the encounter is random every time. We are definitely under equipped to deal with some unknown threats.”

“Okay, here's what I propose,” Said Steve. “We go to the shop and use our available coins to buy all of the supplies we need. I want us to be fully kitted out. Weapons, armor, items that would be useful, maybe even healing potions if they exist. We will each go through the shop separately then once we each have a list of possibly useful items we can compare notes.”

“Sounds like a good plan to me, Steve.” Daniel gave Steve an impish smile and lightly elbowed his side. “Hey, when did you become the leader of our little group?”

Steve lightly blushed a little at Daniel's comment, “Sorry, about that I didn’t mean to offend you. I kind of have a habit of taking charge in these kinds of situations.”

“It's fine man, I was just joking around. It's a good plan. Having more items to deal with the unknown is a solid idea.”

“Okay, then it's agreed. Now that I am thinking about it though, it was kind of crazy that I entered the solo dungeon for the first time with little to no preparation.”

They left the entrance of the team dungeon and approached the entrance to the shop. When they arrived at the shop's counter an interface appeared in front of each of them and Daniel began to scroll through as soon as he arrived. When he began to scroll through the list of available options Daniel knew that this would not be a short process.

Daniel just shook his head at how blatantly stupid they had almost been, and relaxed as he began to filter the seemingly endless list of items.
