I am just falling down from a very high ground and once I reached the ground, I might just not break my bones but even god might not recognize me. And you, a piece of junk just said, what is there to worry”, Rei said while getting angry at Durance.
How can a piece of crap feel how he felt? First Rei did not save the little girl back then and now he is falling in a very high altitude adding a talking necklace who is good for nothing but just talk. How can he not feel bad after all of this? It is like adding salt to an injury.
“Hays, you are really being dimwit and a high ranking one. You might as well be called an elder dimwit. Hah! An elder dimwit paired with an elder dragon. It’s very nice you have a pair. Ahhh! “Will you just shut up! I am trying to think how can I escape this disaster alive.!”
“As you said elder.” Durance said with effort as if he can’t hold back his laughter if he tries to say some more.
It’s been a minute since Rei jumped and every second he can feel his heart thump faster and faster. His heart raced more and more when he saw his body almost reach the ground.
“I am finished. I shouldn’t have trusted that piece of junk and stayed at the cave and may be can live a little longer. “Rei sighed in regret.
Boom!! ….. suddenly a huge explosion can be heard from above.
When he tried to look back he saw the sky filled with smoke and fire.

Rei’s Pov
When I saw ground, I felt I was getting closer and closer to reality. Ohhh! How did it become like this? Ayyy. ..
At least I should have saved that girl from being eaten by that dragon. At least I won’t die with any regrets.
I closed my eyes again straightened my body at least my head would not crash first. I waited for the impact after that.

I waited for at least another minute but nothing happened.
“huh?! Its been quite a while when I closed my eyes. Am I dead? I opened one of my eyes to confirm if I am on the other side or like heaven I guess.”
To my shock have been floating a foot above the ground. I noticed a pair of sandals in my feet.
They are the sandals that vanished together with my other weapons or should I say equipment.
I don’t know why Groy told us to choose weapons whereas only a majority of them may be called weapons but I think he just thought all of them are weapons.
Going back to the sandals. I think they are actually nice. Its color is black with a black lace tied around up to my knees. Its quite a fashion you know. The one that really caught my attention is the yellow colored light that surrounds it. It is not actually yellow but it is like golden in color. I am totally fascinated.
I thought I hit a jackpot. This pair of sandals is actually of divine grade.
“Lucky you, elder, you have just been acknowledge by this sandal. But do not be over confident that you might catch some falling bodies. It’s your luck that the wind brought you away a little farther from where you should be originally falling. Try and run away as fast as possible because not only the falling bodies but a dragon might come chasing you guys next. Hehe.” Durance warned.
“what? That dragon would still be chasing us?”
“what do you know dimwit? It is an elder dragon who seems to play with you people. he might play with anything living he sees and even play with ants. And you know what, I totally forgot that you are the ants in its eye hahaha. Again, do you even know what I mean in play is too kill you. understand? So shut your mouth and just run. You must run fast so I can enjoy the wind a little more.”
When I tried to go to command the sandals to let me go down nothing happened. So I tried to ask Durance even though he is annoying.
“Durance, how can I go down or can you help me?”
“tsk tsk. You really are a lot of work. ok let me help you a little. Try to make a sleeping position in the midair then close your eyes with your hands behind your back. Yeah that’s it. then try to position your face a little closer to the ground. That is perfect. Be ready now and remember to maintain that position for at least three second elder because a slight mistake might not make this work.” Durance said
While Durance was speaking he emitted a white light that surrounded the golden color of the sandals.
Before I knew it, I crashed into the ground with my face first landed on the ground and I could clearly hear an ear-piercing annoying laughter.
“ahhhhhh!!! You piiiieeece oooofff sh**”
I said to Durance.
“ I think I just dislocated my nose. Ouch! You did it on purpose, did you? I really hate you, you junk ass. How could I feel safe if an ass is hanging in my chest. Get off my neck now and I might forgive you.” I continued I am really angry now.
“ Hays! It pains me to say that it might be better for me to be an ass so I can always remind you how your face looks like. You know it is an achievement for me to help you in that part you know.” Durance said seriously as if considering to bet its’ life just to be an ass.
“you!!”
“No do not call me you. please call me junk ass from now on.” Durance said.
“I really hate you” I replied
“ The more I love you.” Durance said lovingly using his masculine voice like trying to seduce a hot lady.
“you are really unparalleled are you. I will get you back later. I still have a more important thing to do than keep on arguing with a metal head like you.” I said imposingly.
“it is my pleasure my elder” Durance replied as if getting ready for what will I do to him later.
After he said that, I did not reply him but instead I ran fast heading north with my top speed.
