Chapter 0 first contact

Large blasting alarms can be heard all around the dark grayish interior gleaming with red lights flashing signaling a warning the focus is on a woman sitting in authoritative looking chair looking at screens that played a dim reddish light onto her face, her red eyes shined back at the screen with a displeased expression on her face. In a instant a man in a dark black and silver uniform barges into the room “my lady” he says hoping to gather the attention of the woman in the chair, “they are stronger than previously anticipated, the armor it’s too thick our guns can’t pierce it!” He says this in a panicked tone looking up at her but making sure to not to engage in eye contact, he knows better. She lets out a sigh of disappointment before getting up from her  seat her coat lifting upwards but her weapon clearly visible, she began to walk into the hallways towards the front of the ship the alarms blaring louder and louder the red flashing the lights gleaming off her skin anyone in the hallways moved fast out of her way opening the doors as to not have her do it herself. As she opened the last door herself the sun shined onto the ship she was on, the loud cracking of guns and cannons can be heard the sky that was bright now filling with smoke and fire, she walked to the front of the ship topside and looked out to the ship that was currently firing on hers the ships number shined with the limited sunlight it was a USC heavy battleship, originally something for show now with a finalized working model, nine large cannons, four small cannons, and plenty in the anti air department and with armor so thick even missiles would just leave dents and scratches it was by all accounts the worlds most successful warship, the woman standing overlooking the carnage that had befallen her own ship pulled out her sword, it was not a common everyday sword but instead something straight from fiction the blade black and silver with what seemed like red lightning jumping from the blade onto the ground as she pointed it at the USC ship the sword began to light up more and more building a large amount of energy, a powerful beam of light escapes the sword shooting outwards straight at the ships tearing right through its armor causing small explosions throughout the USC ship, the light swayed back and forth a final explosion came as the ships reactor detonated breaking the ship in half, a voice could be heard from the woman’s earpiece “what would you have us do with the survivors ma’am?” The woman displayed a disappointed look for a second before her response came “what survivors?”… the coms where silent for a second before a reluctant yes ma’am… I understand… was heard over the coms network, she turned around and began walking inside walking past men going in the opposite direction holding rifles in their hands, as she entered back inside leaving the frame gunshots could be heard in the background followed by screams of pain and despair, as she was walking back to her office the loud clicking of her boots against the floors steel frame could be heard everyone else was silent allowing a echo to form around her, when she entered her office she she placed her sword onto the table it still steaming from the large raw amount of energy forced out, small sparks could be seen jumping off it, she sat down in her chair looking outwards to the screens displaying a clear picture of the floating bodies in the water some sank others floated back into the fire she created, a small decrepit smile formed on her face the sound of screams ended as her ship began to leave the frame On the reports of the battle there were no survivors listed they all went down with the ship or that’s what was believed thus pushing the war closer to a end as the USCs most powerful naval weapon was now nothing more than a memory.
