It was mentioned in the comments that the MC was struggling too much against weak enemies, and that I should clarify how powerful he and his opponents are. Also, there was a question about the experience listed after level.
The numbers in brackets after he levels up are inded (Current Exp/Next Level Exp). His inheritor class has a fast growth rate, which I haven't explained yet, thus the low requirements. Firstly, there will be Fast, Normal and Slow growth rate classes, which will determine the exp required to level up. Basically, Fast is Current Level*10 for the next level, normal will be *20 and slow will probably be *40. This may seem low, but the max level for each class is 100, so to max a fast growth class requires a total of 49,500 exp. For a normal person without the MC's exp growth, this would take a lot of time considering a regular goblin gives 4 base exp. The wolves would give 20, 30 for the alpha. So it would take a long time for a normal person to reach level 100, even with a fast growth class, and then they'd meet the requirements for an advanced class, with a normal growth rate. Slow growth rate will most likely be Hybrids like Paladin or Battlemage that require two advanced classes to unlock, but I haven't come up with these ones yet.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
In regards to him stuggling with weaklings, I agree that the female goblins were too weak to break his arm, so I edited that fight a bit. The wolves however, were strong enough to hurt him. He wasn't in much danger of dying, but he didn't have time to check his status during the fight, so he doesn't know that.
To compare them, his stats were 110 at the time. The normal wolves would be roughly: 60 str, 60 dex, 80 agi, 40 end, and the alpha would be around 80 str/dex, 100 agi, 60 end. Weaker than the MC, but still able to hurt him. Goblins stats would be in the 10-20 range, with the mage at 25-50, with high int and wis.
I'm not sure how I'll handle this in the future, as I'm reluctant to give him appraisal... There are no surprises when you know the enemies skills and attributes, and it's really overused. I'm open to suggestions.
