“Did you know elves can live for a long time.” Said the elf as she stood tall in front of the orb.
[No]
“Well, we could. That’s why, endless tower? More like, “Try me”.” Laughed Velatha. Feeling embarrassed afterward.
[Welcome]
“Yeah, I know it wasn’t funny nor even made sense.” She turned away and started walking far.

In front of the orb laid a wooden table that was roughly handmade. On a chopped log sat a man. “You see, mister orb. Magic isn’t all that important.” He said, filled with bitterness in his voice.
[Yes]
On top of the table laid a weird piece of human limb. “I know you would get me. So what if I can just look at my detached arm and never get it back.” He laughed and teared up.

“You know mister orb, before I hated you for bringing me into this place. But now I know you are just like me. Dragged to this place for no reason.” He said, staring at his reflection through his sword. Then he sheathed back his sword.
[Yes]
“If it wasn’t for you, I would have gone insane already… thank you mister orb.” He smiled, as a floating screen colored red appeared.
[Raid The Next Floor]
“If only you didn’t push me, I would just live on the lower floor, forever. Well, not like I can even do that.” Said the man. As he waited for the caring response of the orb. It was the only thing keeping him alive.
[No]
“Don’t worry, I was just joking. I know it wasn’t your fault. Just remember me ok?” He clicked the next floor and disappeared… forever.
[Yes]

“My brother used to tell me that heaven was the most beautiful place in the world.” She said as she hopped around looking at the sky.
[Yes]
The orb said with a slight sign of worry every time it replied to Delta. “But I wouldn’t replace you for heaven, thank you mister orb.” She smiled at the orb, which made it feel a slight guilt inside.

“Why did you repeat it twice? And did you feel sad for me for the second time? Well even if I didn’t meet my brother in heaven, I know he is having fun there. Wherever that is.” She dropped down to the ground and lay upward facing the endless white sky.

From a distance, a blazing figure was getting closer and closer, fast, till it just stopped instantly in front of the orb. “Just got back from my 100-mile run! Were you lonely without me?” Sweat filled her face and body. Her entire body was not possible in the realm of reality. Just the simple fact that she has a 10-pack was enough for that thought. It wasn’t easy keeping such a chiseled body without that much exercise.
[Yes]
Her face filled with worry, she would never get used to hearing the orb’s sad tone to her doing her morning routine. “Aww, sorry… Will never happen again! I will never leave you, mister orb!” She said high and proudly.

As the orb stared at the endless white void waiting for Jason, he just appeared. “AHHHHH!!!! The sky!” He immediately hovered his left hand above his eyes. “I hate going into tunneled floors or any dark-themed floors!” He yelled out loud. Arm dropped. Eyes closed and body shut down.
[Yes]
“It always blinds me when I come back from a dark floor.” Jason was lying down facing the floor with his eyes closed.
[No]
“Yes, mister orb, you just never know, if you could be there, you would understand.” He remarked.
[Climb The Tower]
[No]
Jason flipped himself up and faced the sky. “Hahaha! Well, you know… I don’t wanna die… I really don’t… I wish I could just stay on the lower floors.”
[Yes]
“I don’t wanna die!” He yelled for help. But after so long, he couldn't help but just say it playfully.

Crouched to the ground. With his hands not visible going through some portal. “Mister Orb! I just found this. What do you think is better, yes for the right, no for left.” He lifted both his arms out from the ground holding two different sets of clothing. With the one on the right clearly being lifted and moved around more frequently.
[No]
“Really…?” He asked as he retracted his voice. He didn’t like the answer so he placed the one on the left closer to him and blocked it with the one on the right.
[Yes]
“So this one is better!” He yelled, throwing the other one to the ground. He stepped on it multiple times just to degrade it far from recognition.
[No]
“What is it then!? Well, the other one got destroyed by… some animals…” Six said, with a voice radiating lies throughout.
[Bye]
“No!!! I’m just joking! You’re giving me the silent treatment again. No!!!" Six yelled and dropped knees down on the ground, staring at the orb, waiting for a reply.

The man sat down on the ground with his legs crossed. His eyes were shut as he meditated beside the orb.
[Raid The Next Floor]
After hearing the monotone voice and the bright red light that even went passed his shut eyes, Den stood up. “Well… Mister orb… guess it’s time for me to die.”
[No]
He shook his head. “You already told it to me before mister orb. No one has ever cleared floor 51. And no one has ever reached a level past 100. It’s time. I'd rather die in the tower than let you see me in pain.”
[No]
“It’s ok… it’s ok…” Den walked closer to the orb and laid his head on top of it. His tears dropped, making rain above the orb. If the orb could cry, it would. But crying was something it preferred, he knew, that the feeling of not being able to cry was something far more painful. “Bye…”
[B-]
Before the orb could even say a word, Den hurried and moved to the next floor.

Years, decades, centuries, millennia. The orb has been with many, many people. Humans and other species alike. And many died, in many ways. From the tower to suicide, or to starvation. It learned many things. It was able to become smarter. It was able to convey words. It was able to talk. It was limited, but it could.
The orb felt much happiness. The joy in people's faces. The amount of times they thanked it. The gifts it was presented. The jokes it was told. The dreams it heard. The impact it made on others. And yes it even knows the word impact. Yes, it could talk and understand. It has lived for so long. And at first, it could never feel the emotion of loneliness. But, loss, it might as well just be called loneliness.
The orb felt much sadness. The fear in their faces. The tears from their eyes. The grief of their words. The limbs it saw. The many last words it was given. The nightmares it heard. The death it gave. The amount of attachment it had to the people it was with. And the amount of times it had to see them disappear and a new one just appears, replacing the other, without even mucof h a breather, there was not even a space for sympathy, no room to be sad.
The orb felt much frustration. The number of faces it has seen. The amount of times it had killed. The amount of hugs it wanted to give. The amount of times it wanted to laugh, to cry, to be mad. The amount of times it wanted to yell. The amount of times it wanted to comfort someone with words other than [Welcome]. The amount of hatred it felt for itself. The memories it could never forget.
It was simple… the orb just didn’t want to see another person. So what if many of them made it happy? So what if it will miss the stories they have told? So what? It just didn’t wanna see another one of its… friends… to just disappear without even him knowing, until just a new person arrived. It was the most unpleasant way to know someone important had died.
And so, it wished… it just wished… it wished… it wished… no one would ever leave him alone like those again. The orb couldn’t move, nor could it be moved. The orb couldn’t talk much. That was all, any other it could do? It could feel, it could express, it could think. The orb didn't even know... how he could even care at that point, but he could.

And 100 thousand clients later. It felt weird. Not uncomfortable, nor sad, nor regret, nor anger, nor guilt. It felt happy. It was like for the first time in its eternal life, it felt like something right just happened. That thing in front of it. That guy, it was the one that would reach the end. That man was going to save it, from endless suffering.
“This orb feels sad… or maybe it just feels cold."
