Chapter 6
Y-O: Thank God you finally got to level five. Well don’t thank God, that guy sucks, thank me. Now follow these last few prompts and let’s get out of here.
Select Energy Condensation Center: Mind, Muscle, Bones, Heart, Hands… [unique option] Crystal
Before selection grab all items of importance
Last but not least create a dream of your future and plans. Now forget that I know it sucks. You will go to much greater places than whatever you are currently thinking.
“To scale the mountain is to become the mountain. Mountains are much more than just rock and stone, they are ideas, they are immense, they hold great shadows which cascade from their mighty shoulders. The mountain is your goal and your enemy, so understand it well and rise. Uproot the land, crush the opposition, cover not just this world but galaxies and nebulas with your shadow. Be the mountain to which others look up to and can only dream to ascend. Be the insurmountable mountain that continues to grow and build until others can never climb for your peak will reach the heavens.”- I know it sounds cool right, that’s you. Well it will be, it must be. Other gods will not appreciate your, umm… being alive since you are my shadow.
It did sound cool, but knowing who it came from even a little bit the only part I know is true is that I will be in danger. I already have everything with me so I just need to choose my “Energy Condensation Center”, at least the name makes it straight forward enough. I think most of these of my options lean towards what they will do, not that I really have a clue on the consequences. But… in case this isn’t a big dream I’m going to pick the crystal because if anything bad happens I would rather lose the weird ass crystal and unique probably means good.
Condensation beginning… Transference back into your new world initiating…
Y-O: I know you will miss me, so don’t cry my little human, but I will need to quiet down for a while since those gods on their Council of Dipshits will be looking for that idiot and therefore you, but more importantly me. And when I come around in the future you better unmute me you little shit. Now don’t go dying before I make you into a great tyrant.

Everything went black. Time seemed to crawl as I remained in the silky ooze of darkness. Waves would occasionally hit me, stretching and bending me as if I were part of this ooze. Eventually I made out a small speck of light staring at me, no emotions came out from it. It merely watched me. Just the feeling of nearly 250 eyes looking at me as if they were reading a book scrawled onto my skin. I thought maybe it’s Y but he’s a part of me and this thing is separate. Drowsiness began ebbing in waves, deciding to ignore these watchers for now the waves carried me away.
Sulfur, a smell like a mix of sulfur and burnt hair filled the air. For the first time in a long time Y-O doesn’t appear as soon as my eyes open, I don’t miss him but it feels off. Dim light of the night shines down, that too feels odd. I mean I have seen stars through pictures and videos of cameras in space… but I have never seen them from the ground. It feels like I’m on a different planet. Panels keep crawling towards my eyes but I force them away as I stare up at the sky piercing through the collapsed eastern side of the city. The destruction is so immense that it’s hard to register as real, but seeing stars through my own eyes is even harder to believe. Old books talked about the shining and twinkling of stars in the night, and of course I had learned about this and their reasons scientifically, yet to see what those old authors had written about right in front of me is mesmerizing.
It took me more than an hour to tear my eyes away from the view and take in the utter devastation of the city. The city past the eastern divide, not even a full mile down the road, was toppled. Some higher levels that look to be burned and fuzed together are still actively crumbling. I can’t imagine the rest of the city looking any better… I just hope that the others were lucky like me, the old arches near the elevator had maintained the level above without letting it fall. It does help that the slums didn’t have many of those high class buildings that were too large, fancy, or had non-ultralight materials like marble, which the eastern sector loved, built above it for obvious reasons. By obvious I mean they were stupid reasons but obvious what those rich bastards thought.
Enough reminiscing and admiring let’s take a look at this panel.
Crystalline Energy Core: Attunement towards earth
Stone “Axe” elevated into semi-enchanted(???) weapon
Yewtalon Figurine elevated into a basic wooden idol(???)
The crystal felt warm… calming. While the axe gained some runic engravings and the “idol” a little figure I had built and forgot was in my pocket felt like it had now gained those eyes from before, but I could only feel a glance of the eyes on me before they disappeared. With no voice in my head telling me what to do I feel like before anything I should go check my home before anything else.
