Today is a fine day, I had a good sleep yesterday, in Alanna's house of course. Don't misunderstand. I didn't do anything. It was just the only intact place in the village and they wouldn't let me sleep outside no matter what. There was no those anoying monster roar throughout the night. Maybe the earthquake scared them.

I've resumed my daily training routine from to day onward. I had broken my perfect score of not a single day off since I started MMA. Training early every morning always help me have a more positives mind for the rest of the day. As usual, I started off with light jog then running and then intense cardio with shadow boxing between sets, only this time I simultaneously use Armour Haki in shadow boxing sections which proved to be very draining. I run out of steam after only 30 minutes and is forced to rest to recover my Haki. You can't move while your Haki is empty.

"Good morning Alex, you're up early" (Alanna)

"Good morning Alanna, it's just my everyday exercise. Don't you train?" (Alex)

"Of course I do, I'm just about to train right now" (Alanna)

"Oh, wanna spar?" (Alex)

"Bring it on" (Alanna)

Hohoho, I'm very excited right now. She said previously she can single handedly take on that damn dragon so I expected her to be really strong.

 After my Haki has fully recoverd, we move to a large clearing quite far from the village. I don't want to destroy anyone home. We take a 10m distance from each other and enter battle stance. I take MMA basic stance, it's a very versatile stance in both defense and offence. Alanna once again conjure out her light sabers only there's 5 more hovering around her, not for decoration for sure. 

Battle, Start. Alanna stretch her wings and fly in at great speed, I can barely follow with my Observation Haki. The twin swords on her hand thrust foward one to my neck and one to my heart while the others scatter and suround me on all sides. I side step to avoid the twin swords and elbowed the 2 two swords to my right coated with Tremor power. The swords shatter due to the shockwave. Having missed me, she quickly change the trajectory of the swords. I infuse Haki into my arms to block the swords and deliver a kick to her side. She take a step back out of my leg range and command the remaining swords to attack me. I punch all the swords to pieces with Tremor power. This time she take some more distance and bombard me with magic. Powerful magic fly out like rain with no incantation, as expected of an archangel. Of course none is able to reach me with my DvF power. Suddenly the earth below me split into two catching me off guard. Ah, so I also need to train my Observation Haki. I can sense the flow of magic but with this many some thing might come through. The ground snap shut trapping me inside leaving only head above ground. Alanna now have a triumphant smile on her face, sure of her victory. I change my body into magma and melt the earth around me. Her smile froze and quickly turn to panic. Hahaha, her face never cease to amuse me. Don't worry little girl, I will be gentle, ehehehe. (Pervert)

Alanna's POV:

A chill run down my spine, what's with his scary expression? Anyway, Alex is really strong. None of my fellow angel can follow my speed, except Lucas because he's a Thunder Angel who's well proficient in high speed battle. He thinks he can keep it a secret but everyone in the village've already knew since many years ago. He can't keep his mouth shut while drunk. Ah, my thought stray a little there. Alex still stand there waiting for me to attack but seriously, my magic can't reach him at all due to that strange shockwave, not like I can use a mass destruction magic in a spar. His physical ability is no joke either. He can turn his skin into something that akin to Adamantine, the hardest metal on the planet. He is not fast but his reflex is superb and I'm sure he has gone through many life and death battles to achieve that much experience. He did say he was an underground fighter in his previous life. And that magma ability, it's like he is immortal, just like Flash, you have to strike him with Force in order to damage him. Alright, let's show him what an Archangel can do. I activate my Force, create 15 swords of light and dash in.

I spread the swords out and engage in close quarter combat. As I thought he focus on dealing with my Force while ignore the surrounding swords since they just pass through his body harmlessly. I command 2 swords aiming for his eyes from the back while I put on more pressure with my superior speed. The 2 swords pierce through his eyes robbing him of his vision, not passing the chance I swing the swords in my hands downward. However, he's still somehow able to block them without the need of eyes. But my weapons are not only the swords, you know? My wings turn solid with Force and slap him away hitting the nearby boulder hard. I approach and swing my swords down, stopping only a cm away from his neck.

"I lost. Never expected you can use your wings like that" (Alex)

"You put up a good fight for someone at level 16. I afraid I might loose if I don't have one or two hidden trump card" (Alanna)

"Haha, I'm sure you're going easy on me. I didn't even scratch you once during the entire fight, did I?" (Alex)

"You still haven't go all out either. Well, it's a spar afterall. Anyway, Let's go back for breakfast" (Alanna)

On our way back, we chat a little about various thing.

"By the way, do you know an angel name Lucas? I want to talk to him" (Alex)

Ah, so he knew. I wonder how. I will ask later.

"Let's invite him to breakfast then"

When we get back mother has already prepared breakfast and Lucas's already sat at the table. I sent a brief mental message to her and Lucas while on our way back.

"Hello, Lucas" (Alanna)

"Yo, how ya going? Sorry for inviting you all of sudden" (Alex)

"Good morning, Lord Alex, Alanna. It's my honor to attend a meal with you, my Lord" (Lucas)

"Haha, I told you to drop the honorific, didn't I? By the way, where's Flash" (Alex)

"He's doing his usual 'thing' " (Eva)

"Ah, forget that little bastard. It's his lost" (Alex)

I was also speechless when I first saw that. Is that how slimes reproduce? 

After a pleasant breakfast, we all sit down with a cup of tea each, I want coffe but it's a luxury in this place. We ran out long ago.

"I want to talk to you for a moment, Lucas" (Alex)

"Yes, what is it my Lord?" (Lucas)

"First, I would like to hear about your life story, your real life story as a Thunder Angel" (Alex)

"!!!!" (Lucas)

 "Ahaha, as expected of my Lord, how did you find out?" (Lucas)

"Well, my eyes can see through people true identity as long as I focus, disguise and illusion are mostly useless with this skill" (Alex)

Oh, another amazing skill. He never cease to surprise me.

"I see, well ...." (Lucas)

Then Lucas recite the story of his life as one the oldest being in existence. We also want to know more about him. Even though we knew he was a Thunder Angel and his feeling to us is sincere, we didn't know how he was among us in the first place. 

As the servant of the previous God of Thunder Zanoth, who contrary to his power, was a very crafty God and extremely paranoid. He sent spies to all other Gods in some way that even the God of Truth can't discover. The dark side of the God society is all revealed through these spies and as the commander of the spies, Lucas naturally knew it all. I'd never expect that the Goddess of Life has a massive harem of male mortals or the Goddess of Lust is atually a virgin, she's into anal sex and she's a biggg M. Lucas is currently the most wanted criminal in both Heaven and Hell for his intel. 

"Hahahaha, these Gods are all rotten to the core. Oh my stomach, I have never laughed like this in all my life" (Alex)

"Huh? Aren't you gonna kill me or shoo me away for deceiving you. My soul is now yours. You can easily do so if you want to" (Lucas)

"Why would I? As you said, your soul is mine and that's all I need. Raise your head high as my loyal suborndinate Lucas Rossaria" (Alex)

"...Thank you my Lord, thank you" (Lucas)

Lucas is now moved to tear. I guess living all those years with such secrets really take a toll on his mind and heart.

"Ok, heavy talk is over. Let's us move to the matter at hand, shall we? What are you going to do from now on Alex?" (Eva)

"Ah, I want to get out of this goddamn place and explore the world, maybe become an adventure or something, find muffin and marry Alanna. When I get strong enough I will go back here and inherit the divinity. Then I'm gonna kick those Gods's asses"

*Blush* "Wait, I thought that was a joke" (Alanna)

I can't believe he's serious. We've only met for a day. Although I don't mind marrying him. Wait, what am I thinking? No no no no. He's a future God. An angel like me is not worthy for him.

"There's no joke in such a matter Alanna" (Alex)

"But.... but...you are our master. Such a thing is just...." (Alanna)

"Love have no border. There's no rush. Please just take your time and think about it" (Alex)

"It's not as simple as you think. The Gods now know about your existence due to your display of strength yesterday. They will hunt you down to the end of the world. This forest has some sort of magical barrier that prevent their prying eyes but once you step out of here, you have to be careful. Beside a new God can't possibly take on those old monster. There's also the war and the old God of Destruction's body" (Lucas)

"I just have to lay low then. Let the Hero and the Empire deal with the shell. That's what he's here for anyway " (Alex)

"So here's the plan, a team will travel with Alex and the rest of us will stay here and guard the divinity." (Eva)

"There's no need. The divinity is guarded by an old friend of R'Lak. No one in the mortal realm can go against him, not even Minor Gods. As our Lord has already appeared. There's no point in living in this harsh place." (Lucas)

Huh? So he knew where it is all these time?

"How did you know?" (Alanna)

"R'Lak told me. He and I used to drink together long before the Holy War" (Lucas)

"That would be perfect. This place is way too dangerous for my own taste. Let's go right now" (Alex)

"Don't be too rash, we need to make preperation and make an offical annoucement to the village. And we can't move in such a large group. It will raise one or two eyebrow" (Eva)

"We can use the ship for transportation. It has stealth option so it's perfect" (Alanna)

"Ship? What ship? A ship in a forest?" (Alex)

Hehe, his confused face is cute.

"Come, let me show you" (Alanna)

We walk to the back of the house. There's a large storage room there. Inside is an elegant white war airship that we hijacked from the Empire's Hero when we were still running. It has enough space to hold thousands of people. Its magic cannon can eliminate a small country in one or two shot and its protective magic barrier can even stand multitude of my strongest attack magic with ease. Truly a fortress in the sky. Well, its only problem is the enormous magic power required as fuel but each angel have at least the same or more magic power than human's royal archmage even if we are weaken.

"This.... guys I think I found my new goal of life" (Alex)
