"Now that we have finished with the freshmen, let's move on to the sophomores," the school director announced, addressing the faculty members gathered at the meeting. The topic of discussion was the upcoming team matches and selecting the most outstanding team of five for the intraschool tournament in two months.
"Eliana, please come forward," the director called out to Eliana, one of the teachers responsible for monitoring the sophomore teams. She stepped forward and displayed the team she was overseeing on a large screen for everyone to see.
"Team 1 consists of Juan Garcia, Tia Rodriguez, Eptosi Agnes, and Sophia White. Based on their performance last year, Juan, Tia, and Sophia haven't shown significant improvement, so my expectations were not very high for this team. However, Eptosi Agnes has pleasantly surprised me," Eliana explained. She proceeded to show a video recording of a recent team fight that determined captaincy.
As the faculty members watched the recording, they observed Eptosi skillfully blocking all of Sophia's attacks, despite knowing that she was skilled at martial arts. They were amazed at how he could withstand her powerful strikes while utilizing his own abilities.
"Eptosi's power is [Output: Elemental: Air Impact]. With this ability, he can create, enhance, and weaken impacts. He effectively reduced the impact of Sophia's hits by utilizing his power," Eliana elaborated, providing further insight into Eptosi's unique skill set.
The faculty members continued to watch the battle with keen interest, intrigued by Eptosi's abilities and his impressive performance against Sophia.
Suddenly, Tia launched a powerful fire attack at Eptosi, prompting the teachers to believe the fight was about to end.
" That's the end." whispered a teacher, believing that Eptosi would have trouble defending against a move such as this.
But to their surprise, Eptosi swiftly declared, "[Impact wall]," creating a protective barrier that effectively blocked Tia's fire attack.
"How did he do that?" someone exclaimed, astonished by Eptosi's defensive capabilities.
Eliana, anticipating the question, responded confidently, "Eptosi explained it himself during the fight. An impact occurs when two or more forces collide. By manipulating his power of air impact, Eptosi can create a balanced collision between opposing forces, resulting in a sturdy surface, like the impact wall we just witnessed."
The faculty members looked at each other, impressed by Eptosi's ingenuity and his ability to apply his power in such a strategic manner.
They continued watching the battle unfold on the screen, witnessing Eptosi's final moves against Sophia.
"[Grand impact]," Eptosi declared.
A single powerful strike from Eptosi defeated Sophia, who possessed [Body: Full: Superstrength] and was older and stronger than him.
The room fell silent as the faculty members processed what they had just witnessed.
"The fight isn't over yet," Eliana interjected, recognizing the need to address Eptosi's final move against Tia.
"[Impact burst]," Eptosi announced.
As they watched Tia being forcefully pushed against the wall, rendering her unconscious, the faculty members were left in awe. They struggled to comprehend how Eptosi had executed such a move, eagerly awaiting an explanation.
In the recording, Eliana questioned Eptosi about his final move, seeking clarification.
"Too tired to explain that, and you probably already know, right?" Eptosi replied cryptically, leaving the faculty members intrigued and wanting to know more.
When the video ended, all eyes turned to Eliana, the one person who could provide further insights into Eptosi's abilities and techniques.
"When they finished watching the recorded fight, they all looked at Eliana, waiting for some explanation. Upon seeing their expectant gazes, she sighed. 'It seems that only the principal figured out how Eptosi did it,' she said.
"Eptosi's power, Elemental: Air Impact, allows him to use the force and pressure of the wind to create collisions," she explained, projecting an illustration on the big screen to aid in her explanation. "By generating multiple impacts and applying pressure, he can create a kind of air cannon."
'To think someone like that is in my class. Very interesting,' Eliana thought to herself.
"Eptosi is indeed impressive, but Alexis is on another level," someone exclaimed.
"And why do you think that, Ronald?" Eliana asked, turning her attention to Ronald.
"I will show you," Ronald replied. He took out his tablet and cast the footage on the monitor. Everyone could see four students: two black-haired boys, one blonde boy, and a brown-haired girl. The video showed Ronald asking the students to decide on a team captain among themselves.
"Have you all decided on who's going to be captain?" Ronald asked with an emotionless expression on his face. His job was to help this team win the upcoming high school sophomore competition, even though he wasn't pleased to be assigned to the weakest class based on last year's data.
"The captain will be me," the blonde boy sighed.
"And why is that, Alexis?" the brown-haired girl questioned.
"Oh, you remember my name? I know I'm handsome enough to make you remember it," Alexis chuckled.
"What are you talking about? It's normal to remember your classmates' names, and you even mentioned it this morning," the girl muttered, blushing. She found his comment shameless.
"You didn't forget my name, did you?" she asked.
"Sorry, but I only remember the names of strong, interesting, and beautiful girls like Miss Taylor," he murmured, still envious that Eptosi had her as an instructor while he had a male teacher.
Everyone in the principal's office turned their attention to Miss Taylor, but she didn't seem bothered.
"Zoe! My name is Zoe!" Zoë shouted angrily.
"Okay, Chloe, how about we make a bet?" Alexis chuckled.
"What do you propose?" one of the black-haired boys asked, joining the conversation.
'Trying to be cool in front of the girl, huh?' Alexis thought, observing how the boy positioned himself protectively in front of Zoe. Since Alexis had forgotten his name, he asked, "And who are you again?"
"My name is James, and you better remember that," James murmured. He despised people like Alexis who thought they were superior to others.
"Chill, chill. So how about this? Both of you can fight against me. If I win, I'm the captain" Alexis mumbled.
"Stop being so cocky!" the other boy suddenly interjected.
"It's important to know the difference between being cocky and knowing that you're gonna win. So let's start; we don't have a lot of time," Alexis replied. While Zoe and James took their positions, Alexis lazily lounged around.
"You have a power related to guns, so where are your guns, and why aren't you keeping your distance?" James asked.
"Don't need them for now."
"3, 2, 1, start." Right after the countdown, James used his power, Creature: Living: Cheetah, transforming his legs and hands into those of a cheetah and rushing at Alexis with incredible speed.
>Whoosh<
He moved so fast that one could feel the wind, yet Alexis managed to dodge
'How can he avoid my fast attacks? It's like he's predicting them,' James thought. He was still untouched by the 62 mph strikes.

As Alexis distanced himself from James, he opened his mouth.
"I heard that cheetahs are the fastest-living animals in the world but can only run this fast for a short amount of time. After they catch an antelope, they rest before eating because they're exhausted from their run," James was shocked. Alexis had deduced his weak point just by facing him for a few seconds.
"So please tell me, how long can you still hold this up?" Alexis exclaimed.
"Don't forget about me," Zoë suddenly joined the fight. She trusted her spear to strike him, but he avoided it. Then she spun her spear backward to hit him on the chin, but he blocked it with his two arms. The hit caused Alexis to drop a couple of feet back.
"Thanks for giving me space, Chloe," Alexis chuckled. In the process, he grabbed his leg and summoned his gun.
"It's Zoë! You Alzheimerpunk!" she exclaimed.
"It isn't nice to insult with diseases," he responded. As she rushed at him, Alexis shot bullets at Zoë and James. While James avoided them, Zoë blocked them with her spear, thinking they would be able to get closer to him. They believed they would easily win.
"[Bomb Bullet]," Alexis muttered. Zoë tried to block it with her spear but intercepted the bullet with it.
>BOOM<
Zoë and James fled. They couldn't believe what he had just done.
"Is this already the end?" Alexis chuckled. While they glared at him, he only looked at them with a grin.
>WHOOSH<
James rushed at him at 70 mph. Alexis saw it and shot three bullets, but James swiftly avoided them.
'I won't be caught again,' he thought. He knew that the bullets needed to touch something to detonate. He was confident in his speculation but...
>BOOM<
>BOOM<
>BOOM<
The bullet on his left side exploded, so he tried to escape on his right side. However, the bullet on his right and back exploded like a chain reaction that he couldn't avoid even with his high speed.
"How is that possible? The bullets didn't even touch him," Zoë shouted. She wanted to ask how he did it.
"Did you guys forget my power?" Alexis inquired laughingly.
"Infinity bullet," she responded.
"Exactly, did you really think I couldn't make a detonating bullet? I can make every bullet possible with my powers. Don't you know what 'Infinity' means?" Alexis shouted. She was flabbergasted. She had underestimated him without considering his powers.
"I won't be fooled like him," Zoë said. She began to spin her spear.
"[Air spear shield]."
>WHOOSH<
The air began to spin around her spear, creating a shield. She rushed at him confidently.
'Even if he shoots a bullet, he can't touch me with it. I can block the aftermath of his bullet if it's an explosion or something else. My air shield will stop it,' she thought. And her speculations were true. Alexis' bullets couldn't touch her, and the explosions of his bullets couldn't pierce the air shield she created. Zoë continued rushing at him while spinning her spear.
"Two bullets should be enough," Alexis murmured.
"Huh?" She couldn't understand why he said it.
>BANG<
Alexis shot a bullet. It wasn't aimed at her but at her right.
"You already used one bullet," Zoë muttered. Something strange struck her as
she looked at him.
'Why is he smiling?' She thought. Suddenly, she felt her spear fly away from her. Nevertheless, she held onto her spear and saw that the bullet Alexis shot at her right side was glued to the blade of her spear.
"A magnetic bullet?" she asked.
"Great guess, Chloe. You're smarter than I thought," he answered. Now that her spear couldn't block his attacks, she was defenseless.
"See you tomorrow," he chuckled. He aimed at her and shot his final bullet.
"[Blast bullet]."
>BANG<
A powerful beam came out of his gun and pushed Zoë next to James.
"Seems like I'm going to be the captain," Alexis muttered while blowing smoke off his gun.

Ronald finished watching the video and spoke.
"Alexis' power, [Weapon: Projection: Infinity bullet], permits him to create an infinite variety of bullets," Ronald was shocked when he saw it, but upon reflection, it seemed normal. They lived in a world where "infinity powers" were overpowered. One of the top ten strongest humans in this world had an 'infinity power' that could destroy America in one second or less.
"Alexis used his intelligence to defeat James and Zoë with only three different bullets. He analyzed James' power and weakness to swiftly deal with him. He baited Zoë to approach him to defeat her with his magnetic and blast bullet," he explained.
"Compared to Eptosi, Alexis didn't showcase the strength of his power, but rather the different ways to use it in any situation. He can lead his team as a supporter and damage dealer, making it easier to defeat enemies for his teammates and defeating them himself."
"I agree that Alexis can use his power to support his teammates, but Eptosi's shield can protect his teammates. Eptosi showed his power, but he could also use it to help his team in many ways," she sighed.
"What about the last team?" Eliana asked.
"I just checked that Eptosi, Alexis, and Dicou live together in an orphanage. They all seemed to have the same idea of how they would be captains. Dicou Murahib also overwhelmingly defeated his teammates," Jennie replied, beginning to show what happened.
***
The whole crew (Eptosi, Alexis, Dicou, Angel, and Lisa) walked back to the orphanage from school.
"Eptosi, did you beat them like that?" Alexis asked. The three boys played rock, paper, and scissors to determine who would tell the story of how they defeated their team to become the captain last.
"Had to put some force into [Grand Impact] to defeat Sophia, but the rest was easy," Eptosi said. Alexis was next to tell his story, but Dicou asked a question to Eptosi before Alexis could start.
"Well, Eptosi, you've gotten better, so wanna fight?"
"Shut up, Dicou!" They shouted simultaneously at him. He was so obsessed with fighting that one day he would ask the little ones to fight him, they thought.
"Oh, come on, I was just getting fired up," Dicou muttered.
"You just fought with your teammates," Angel said.
"That's only the beginning. I want the main course now," he replied.
"Dicou, I don't want to fight right now, and if we do, we might destroy the whole backyard," Eptosi sighed.
"Just say that you don't want that smoke," Dicou chuckled arrogantly. Alexis laughed at Dicou for taunting Eptosi. Eptosi was the calmest among the five. He rarely got angry. The only times he got angry were
when someone or something hurt them and when someone broke a promise. So taunting Eptosi could never work.
Eptosi answered nonchalantly, "Yeah, whatever."
'I want to fight today, so I need to say something to get Eptosi riled up to win,' Dicou thought to himself. His mind was suddenly struck by an idea of how to provoke him. It was as if a light had been switched on inside of him. In an attempt to get his attention, he called him out.
"If you don't want to fight later, I can fight you right now and use 'that,' if you know what I mean?"
"Dicou," Eptosi looked at him with an apathetic look as he said.
"Try me." Eptosi stared at Dicou with a menacing look. The tension rose between them, but suddenly Alexis jumped on their shoulders.
"Relax, we don't need negativity right now. So, wanna guess how many different bullets I used in my fight?" he inquired.
"5."
"4."
"7."
"3."
"Lisa's right, it was 4. A bomb, detonating bomb, magnetic, and blast bullet," he told them how he defeated his teammates classily.
"Now is the time for me to shine," Dicou muttered in his head as he began telling the story of his battle against his own team
