As I woke up in the morning, I got my tea and looked at the date. Today was the day that started this family all those years ago. Today was July 5th, and that is the when my lovely wife and I got married. I got a present for my wife a few weeks back. The present was a lotus flower, the same flower I gave to her on the first day we met. Speaking of which, I decided I want to go for a walk on the nearest beach, where we met, and reminisce about our first meeting.
1976... That's one year I'll never forget. I can still remember the scent of the ocean and the bustling noise of all the people walking down the street. The sky was clear, the sun burning on my skin, and every breath of air made me just want to sit down and relax in a cozy armchair while enjoying some shaved ice. But you know? I could have done that, I could have stayed at home, but I didn't. Saying that, I'm glad I didn't because otherwise... I wouldn't have met her. The first thing I noticed about her was the sadness in her eyes. She looked as if the whole world had crumbled on her shoulders and now she was screaming from underneath the debris. I wanted to step forward, to ask what's wrong, but when I recognized her beauty, I stopped. You know? She was gorgeous, and it was her beauty that made me hesitate at first. But you know? When I thought that she might do stupid later on because of the sadness she felt, and the only person who could have had a chance to stop her was me, but I froze here because I got intimidate by her beauty, I felt really stupid. I grabbed my heart with my teeth and approached her and then we talked. It even wasn't that hard... we just talked and talked for hours I think. In the end, she told me what was going on in her life. I listened and told her my honest opinion. Hey, I was no therapist, but an honest opinion and offer of help was better than nothing, right? Well, she seemed to think so to. When it got late, she turned towards me. Her beautiful smile, the gaze in her eyes, the white dress she was wearing, I still remember as if it was yesterday because in that moment, without hesitation, she kissed me. It was our first kiss, but from then on... our love just sparked like a wild fire...
As I reminisced about our first meeting, I looked at my surroundings. The sky was cloudy today, the water sparkling and most likely freezing cold, while the sun is being blocked by the darkening clouds. The air felt colder today, probably because it may rain soon, but you know what? It's still the same area where we first met, and I cherish that. Today was July 5th of 2018, and on a hot day 32 years ago, we met and talked to each other about the world. I am so very glad that I did not give up on her. I wanted to know what was going on, because, from a mile away I most definitely could've noticed her sad aura. The world crumbling around her, and the heavy burden on her shoulders. I did my best to help, and I'm glad I did so, or we would've never be in love like today.

When I felt a tiny, cold drop of rain hit my arm, I looked up. I felt rain. This was no ordinary rain, this is rain preparing for a dance of lightning. As I tried to get home fast, which is very hard for a 10 minute walk from here to my home, I ran through houses and dirty mud to get home. I knew I could just clean everything, so I didn't care. I was very close to home when I heard lightning, and then, the second bolt got me. What are the chances? I didn't know. As I lay there dying, my wife came out and found me 10 minutes later. I didn't want it to be like this, but, I died in her crying arms.
I looked up, and I found myself on a cloud. Just, sitting on a cloud, with a man that seems to be 70 years old. Where was I? I didn't know, and so I attempted to ask for an answer. Around me, the sky was darker blue and clear, since I was above the clouds. I took a breath of air, and I felt the purity of this place immediately. It was so clean up hair, no pollution, nothing.
The man then started, "Hello, Justin Holmes! I am here to inform you that you have died of my cause! I was sending lightningbolts down like a madman, and I didn't think anyone would be hurt! I did this since I like making my own rainstorms, you see? This hasn't happened in decades, you see. But, nevertheless, your death was my fault, and I am truly sorry. I will make sure to reincarnate you into another world, since that world is a no-no!"
I looked at him, and I probably made a super weird face, but I said, "Where am I exactly? What is this new world? Lastly, who are you?"
"I am who is known as God in your wonderful world! You are in my spying area, where I do many fun things! Lastly, you will be going to a world of magic and such, and I will grant any 3 wishes you have." God stated.
I looked at him, weirded out how he said the entire questions backwards, but on the inside, my soul was jumping around like a child. Nonetheless, I used up 2 wishes saying, "I wish to be immortal, and I want to be strong, but as I grow I become stronger. Magic strong, and all that stuff!"
He looked at me, and nodded. He then told me that he's ready when I However, he mentioned a few things about Nanomachines, and he said I will be getting level 7 access out of 10. With this, I could finish my last wish.
I looked at him, in surprise, and then said, "I've watched my children play MMORPG games, so I got a grasp of the situation. I'm ready whenever."
Before I left, he said, "You will start as a teenager, fourteen years old, and you will be pretty strong for a fourteen year old. Also, you will be an Elf, if that's alright with you?" He asked, and I just nodded.
Then, everything went dark.
