With a pale face, Ji-woo returned and sat close to the other hunters. She was acting as if she were circulating her internal energy, but in reality, she was terrified and thinking of that monster’s last words.
-Could it be that all of what he said is true, I mean he does not need to lie to me, and apparently, he already knew almost everything about my future and me?-
-And I can’t forget his look of contempt when I asked him, what will the new plan be?-
“Why should I tell you or change my plans, Do you actually believe that these self-proclaimed primordial can stop us?”
-it doesn’t matter whether he was telling the truth or not, I will just get stronger to the point where no one can control my fate.- a look of determination appeared on her eyes that didn’t go without Sylvan’s notice.
As all of that was happening, in the admin room of the same dungeon, a man was laying cozily on the bed and watching news on his phone, most of what he could see was people committing crime with their new gained power, monster news, and most importantly gates.
What really got me going was a gate in China where they discovered an invisible monster trying to enter a gate in Shanghai, they tried to kill it but failed, he ran to the gate as fast as possible as soon as he was discovered, but he was injured.
Governments worldwide really got their shit together, and started to watch the gate attentively with all available technology after the scare Paris gave them. After all, most dungeons no one came back from, they are entitled to fear what might come through the unknown.
Raven Hart kept looking for any more interesting things, but he only found more people killing people, more monsters killing people, more people setting out to kill monsters.
“Fuck me this is so boring, I can’t leave the admin room, and I can’t even invite a beautiful lady to come over otherwise one of us has to die, what the actual fuck.”
With a sigh, Raven said, “I might as well find a game to get addicted to.”
….
Days passed Raven stayed in his room playing games, and Sylvan kept on teaching the hunters how to use internal energy to perfection, and obviously beating them up afterword.
Things continued to go like this for two weeks, until Sylvan received a message from raven
“get these people out, and ask them to let normal people enter in 12 hours, we can upgrade our dungeon in these 12 hours, although these 10 hunters are good, they are no army.”
Sylvan gave a mental nod as he asked them to leave and rest for 3 days, and to send level zero hunters in here to level up on slime for two and a half days.
The hunters who were being tortured for the past two weeks didn’t object and left quickly, with all the recordings and information gained from Sylvan during the training.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
What they didn’t know was that half of what he said was bullshit because there were things he couldn’t talk about, so he made up stupid stories for them.
_________
on week ago
in the hunters moment of rest, Leo Quinn looked at Sylvan and asked, “may I ask why our world has met monsters and other hostile races in this manner, shouldn’t there be someone who keeps order in the world.”
Sylvan thought –well I can’t tell you it’s because the primordial are pieces of shit, after all, master came up with the idea of using the name primordial because it was ‘cool’.-
With a serious face that spoke no nonsense, Sylvan said, “because the world is a cruel place, those with no strength could only live in mercy of those above or die.”
After a moment of silence, Alex asked, "then why are you people helping us."
Okay, time for more bullshit, with a more serious face that looked to hide a great deal of pain and suffering, he said, "everyone has their own reason."
While sylvan was trying to win an Oscar, Jung Ji-woo was trying her hardest to not roll her eyes
_______________
As Sylvan returned to the admin room, he heard Raven’s voice.
“I missed you man, I almost died of boredom, was it fun training hunters for two weeks?”
Sylvan answered, “no, but I have to admit, beating them up is growing on me.”
I said, “I knew you’d come around, so do you know how many points we have?”
Sylvan answered, “hmm, probably around a thousand.”
I was surprised, “how did you guess this accurately?”
“It’s not that hard, we get 2.8 points per hour.”
-I will try not to consider this as an insult-
“Alright, we have 957.6 points, what do you think we should do?”
Sylvan answered, “well I think we should keep what we have been doing, security is still not an issue, so if you want an army, we need to get more hunters to level up, and train them afterword”
As I listened to him, I thought of a system I found a while ago on the items page
----------------------------------------
Dungeon entrance system: (F rank); Through this system, your dungeon will remain open for invasions, even during the period when another invasion is in progress; 140 points
----------------------------------------
-at first I never thought of buying it, but now when my dungeon size started to increase, I think it would be useful.-
I consulted Sylvan, and he didn’t object, so I bought it.
After buying the system and activating it, I also bought 3-dungeon size upgrades for (125, 160, 200) points, which made the number of invaders that could enter my dungeon reach 18.
Moreover, I get 4.05 points per hour.
As I will have more hunters to level up, I need more slime and of a higher level too, so I bought 2 more slime facilities, which merged with the first one just like last time.
Currently, it can create slime much faster and as a result, they kill each other just as fast, I can also see the slime Sylvan has been training and somehow control some time to make it leave the battlefield and enter the admin room.
Good thing they are not hostile toward the dungeon master because I think it can easily kill me, after all, I'm just a level 0 newbie, while this slime is level 18, a few steps away from gaining intelligent and becoming a subordinate.
That is when I asked Sylvan, “do you think I should recruit subordinates?”
“I don’t see the need for the current time, and if we need any in the future, then we could just help our unintelligent life forms to ascend, just like little lily.”
I lifted an eyebrow and asked, “lily?”
Sylvan answered, “The level 18 slime, I named her.”
“I have to say she doesn’t look like a lily.”
“She is not now, but will be.”
I was confused again and asked “will be?”
Sylvan looked sad and said, “I'm sorry, but I can’t tell you.”
I rolled my eyes –of course you can't, every time the conversation gets interesting you stop talking-
"anyway, get some rest, if they listen to our instruction in 11 hours we will have newbies, 2 and a half days' afterward you'll get back to training"
sylvan said sarcastically, "don't forget to give them the advice of the angel of doom"
"You just have no taste, it's a cool name."
