I'm the dungeon master

14. primordial realm

Right on the mark 12pm, the team of 10 approached the gate, and entered the dungeon to be welcomed by the usual system message

Alex and Leo Quinn led the team to enter the same room they entered last time, and met the same humanoid monster named Sylvan, who was facing them all this time, and looked at them attentively.

“Pick a weapon and come at me all at once” his irrefutable voice sounded again with a hint of irritation that went unnoticed to everyone except for Jung Ji-woo, probably because of her high senses and that it was directed at her.

She broke into a cold sweat and almost wanted to run away but held herself back, she knew that even at her peak, she would not be his match; her only option was to believe her master's words that even a primordial wouldn’t be able to tell that she had regressed.

Meanwhile, in Sylvan mind -her body and soul is that of a young human, but her mind is old, there are even signs of broken time around her, she has obviously regressed, and it could even fool a primordial.-

-when I woke up here I stopped feeling the presence of primordial time, I even felt someone trying to erase her memory from my mind, I thought she was killed, and some primordial was trying to erase her memory from her followers-

-but now I think she has sent this human mind to the past, and as a consequence, her existing was erased from the memory of all living beings.-

-and she chose the time when I was sleeping and defense lowered, hoping that the world would prevent me from seeing her just like the other primordial.-

-too bad I'm not a shitty primordial, should I kill her or keep her alive? I mean I could implant ‘something into her here’ and she would get ‘an accident’ outside the dungeon, no one would know, but the boss like her, ahhh screw it, I’ll just have a chat with her later, if I like what I'm hearing she’ll live -

As Sylvan finished his thoughts, he threw a punch that radiated blinding light, that threw the last 2 men standing into the air coughing blood.

While he was thinking, he had beaten everyone to an inch of their life.

-Oops, I think I took it a little too far.-

After being scolded through the system by Raven Hart, he received health positions, which was then distributed to the injured hunters.

Then Sylvan said, “rest for 15 minutes then I’ll teach you energy pathways for internal energy, as for external, It needs much finer control, none of you are ready for it, except for Jung Ji-woo, she has good affinity with external element, i.e., mana”

-that will give me time to talk to her alone after the boss stops watching, why doesn’t he play with his phone more often?-

After two hours of teaching, everyone was sitting cross-legged and circulating energy in different ways because everyone has their optimal path, and Sylvan is teaching them to use that path while fighting, to make the best use of their internal energy.

And finally, the boss is not looking anymore “Jung Ji-woo come I will teach you the basics of external elemental control”

Jung Ji-woo took a deep breath and followed Sylvan as she thought -he definitely doesn’t know that I'm a regressor, he was just annoyed to me having higher talent than the other, after all he might be powerful, but compared to a primordial? What a joke, Do I really need to s…-

Before she could finish her thoughts, Sylvan turned around and said, “I know you are a regressor”

Jung Ji-woo was dumbfounded for a moment, not knowing what to say, she didn’t even think of running as she knew that it was futile, his mortal body was more than enough to kill her, she had experienced it after all.

He saw her silence and said, “you don’t need to worry, the sacrifice of primordial time is perfect, no primordial can see through you or detect you as a woman from the future.”

With a trembling voice, she said, “then how did you know”

Sylvan frowned, “do you consider me to be someone on the level of a trashy primordial? Aren’t you from the future? Shouldn’t you know better?”

Jung Ji-woo was dumbfounded, -is this man stronger than a primordial? But primordial are the strongest beings in exciting, who is he? I thought I knew everything about him in my past life.-

Sylvan shade, protector of Ravenswood, he lied to everyone, used the name of a primordial god to train soldiers to fight against the primordial realm, it ended in his death and the destruction of earth.

That’s when one of the primordial, time saved me and trained me in the primordial realm in seclusion for 500 years, then sacrificed herself to send me back in time, and I wanted to save the earth by killing Sylvan shade before the primordial realm come to picture.

The woman's silence was annoying sylvan more and more, so he said calmly, “the only reason you are currently alive is that someone likes you, so give me a reason to why I shouldn’t kill you and get rid of the future knowing bug.”

Jung Ji-woo took a deep breath, calmed her chaotic thoughts and said, knowing that her life depended on what she said next, “I know that your name is not Sylvan shade, I know that you are planning to take this planet for yourself or someone else I'm not sure.”

She continued “and I don’t care, my only reason for going back in time is to avenge my master, and resolve my grudge, if you can help me, I will help you too”

After a few seconds of thought Sylvan answered, “What you basically said was, you know that I have a forsaken name that you don’t know, you know that I want to fight the primordial realm through this planet, and you came back in time because you would like to kill some primordial, and resolve your grudge of me destroying your plant, and probably dying with it.”

Sylvan looked into her eyes for a second before saying, “your master thought you're well, everything you said is half true, kid trust me in my eyes your master is nothing but a toddler, and you, you aren’t coalfield to be a sperm yet”

Jung Ji-woo mind went into chaos again -who is he, this is impossible, he can see what primordial can’t, he can read me like a sheet of paper, and knowing his death from me gave him no apprehension at all, has my master lied to me all this time-

With a chuckle, he said, “So this was your master’s plan, quite the clever one isn’t she; I'm surprised a trashy primordial came up with it.”
