Chapter 5

Walter calmed down and turned off his lightsaber. He then looked at the poor male wolf. He could see blood gushing out of its missing leg and its three missing paws. It also had blood coming out of its snout and its rectum. The poor creature looked like a mess and had tears coming down its face.

After thinking for a moment Walter turned back on his lightsaber and walked over to the wolf. When the wolf saw the bright red light, he knew this guy was going to kill him. He didn’t care though, because he was already as good as dead. In fact he was very grateful to this human. He had killed the bastards who did this to him and he was going to put him out of his pain. He also knew he would not have been a match for the human even if he was at his prime.  He even thought this guy may be able to kill the rest of his pack. The wolf shut his eyes and waited for death.

The next moment Walter swung his lightsaber and smoke started coming off the wolf.

The wolf’s eyes shot open and looked at Walter with pain and confusion.

“Don’t worry little fellow, I will help you.” Walter said in a soothing voice

Walter had just cauterized the wolf’s missing limbs with his lightsaber. He didn’t plan to kill the wolf. That’s because he believes a person should never give up on life. He planned to take the wolf back home with him and figure out a way to help it. He thought this world had to have healing methods like in the stories. After all he had seen today, then why can’t there be healing methods.

Walter turned around to see if the goblins had anything useful on them. He didn’t find anything he wanted and was about to leave until he got an ideal. He then picked up one of the goblins knifes and started to cut off their ears and noses. He thought if there is really an adventures guild or something then he could use them. He put the knife and goblin parts into his bag that he found at the cabin.

Walter went back over to the wolf and picked him up. Walter could tell the wolf was in a lot of pain and kept on telling it that everything would be alright. The wolf didn’t know what to think about this weirdo. He just wanted to die and had no interest in being tortured any longer. The wolf already lost its pride and didn’t care about being carried anymore. He didn’t have the will nor the way to resist.

Walter walked back home and carried the wolf inside the cabin. Nathan started freaking out when he saw Walter holding the half dead wolf. Walter told Nathan to calm down. He then put the wolf on a crappy bed. He didn’t want to sleep on it anyway. The wolf looked him not knowing what to think.

Walter heard his stomach growl and decided he needed to get them all something to eat. He didn’t want to leave Nathan and the wolf at home alone though. After thinking it over for a little while he decided he would just go get that meat that he left nearby. After a few minutes passed Walter returned with two of the goblins he killed. He gathered stuff to make a fire and started it with his lvl 1 Heat Vision. He then felt like distributing some of his new points he had just gotten.

Walter decided to level up his Telekinesis so he could pretend he had the force. When it was at level 1 it could only lift up small objects. Now that it was level 3 it could do a lot more. He was also inspired to level up his Heat Vision after using it to start the fire. Walter and Nathan were laying down by the fire. The smell of burnt goblin filled the air. Walter was petting Nathan and telling him what a good boy he was. When Walter thought the meat was done he pulled it off the fire and went into the house. He then cut some off and threw it to Nathan. Nathan gabbled it up like it was a real treat and then looked at Walter, as if begging for some more. Walter then took the whole leg that he just cut the meat from and gave it to Nathan. He then cut some up into little pieces and took it to the wolf. The wolf was in too much pain and didn’t want to eat. Then it saw that Walter wouldn’t stop bugging it until he did. The wolf slowly ate the meat and looked at Walter strangely.

Walter had been eating the goblin meat too and thought it didn’t taste bad. It had a strange sweet and sour taste. It was unlike any of the meat he had before. It was extremely chewy and was a nice change. Walter and Nathan sat eating together next to the wolf. The wolf was looking at Nathan wondering what he was. He had never seen a wiener dog before and was a little curious about him. Nathan was too busy biting on his new bone and didn’t care about the dumb wolf.

After Walter got done eating he licked the grease off his dirty hands. Walter definitely wasn’t normal. Most normal people would never eat a goblin, their first day in another world. Then again most normal people don’t get sent to another world to begin with. Walter laying down on the floor and tried to go to sleep, even though he wasn’t tired at all.

Later on Walter woke up from a strange noise. Walter felt cold sweat on all over his body. He then jumped up as fast as lightning and ran outside. Nathan and the wolf were both woke up by Walter making so much noise. They both looked at Walter thinking something extremely bad was about to happen. Walter ran straight into the woods as if his life depended on it. It looked like he was about to face a great enemy and did not know if he would return back alive.

He then stopped and pulled down his pants. Immediately after that he was attacked by Montezuma's Revenge!
