(Closed)
The redhead girl watched as her guild celebrated inside the tavern, but found it locked with a "Closed" sign on the door handle.
"It's me, Open up!"
A girl with glasses, dark hair, and a suit, got up from her seat and opened the door at her boss's call.
"Why was the door closed?" the guild leader asked.
The girl with glasses looked somewhat nervous, glanced at her guildmates, who were watching everything from the table, and smiled, laughing a little.
"We rented the entire tavern to celebrate without any problems, and we thought you would arrive later. For now, we are planning where to go."
The leader seemed convinced, approaching the table.
"We won't stay too long either. Remember that our goal awaits us far beyond," she pointed out the window at a mountain, the tallest of them all. "I suggest we go explore some dungeons for the time being."
"Dungeons? Now?" the muscular man, the same one as before, asked.
"I just remembered something."
The leader's tone sounded very serious, making even Tenma look a bit nervous about the situation.
"We don't have a single gold coin left. Zero, nothing," she squatted down and picked up Tenma, lifting him in her arms to caress him.
"Eh?"
"I spent all our money on this little dog and his gear."

"B-Boss... All, all the money?"
"And the hotel rent?"
"And for the party?! Don't tell me that—!"
"We have no money at all. So we'll go beast hunting until nightfall and claim their bounties!"
Tenma was in shock.
He looked at his new owner, still receiving caresses on his head.
"Do I have to go fight?! H-Hey! Hey! Isn't that animal abuse?! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey!"
Tenma could only bark to communicate with humans. After a while, he remembered.
"Shinma, you'll also have to fight alongside us from now on. Don't worry, we'll always protect you as a team."
The leader had noticed the dog's nerves. So she approached her guildmates, showing them the canine.
"Hold him in your arms. This will be our new guardian from now on. Now, officially, we are a guild," the leader commented, while taking out a black ball the size of a golf ball.
Placing her hand on this ball, while leaving the dog to the third member of the guild, a glasses-wearing boy with a sword sheathed, dressed as a medieval knight.
Suddenly, the black ball projected a screen, where the drawing of an eye began scanning the entire team, including Tenma. This made Tenma sneeze.
When it finished scanning them, it started loading a loading screen until it reached 100%.
[Congratulations! Your team can now enter the guild ranking, just give it a name and you can start killing monsters and claiming their rewards.]
Wide-eyed, Tenma appreciated how fantastical it all was. Just like in the video games he used to play in his free time, he felt like he was now part of an RPG game.
Tenma got very excited, wagging his tail rapidly.
The boy carrying him was surprised to notice it, smiling. He was starting to like the dog more.
Unbeknownst to them, the guild members were a bit annoyed with their boss, starting to dislike the dog a little, as he was still small. But as they passed the dog among the three, their opinion changed.
Tenma had to endure a lot of petting to achieve it; he didn't want to have a bad relationship with his adventure team from now on.
[Name placed. Congratulations on your entry to the ranking. Good luck!]
The black ball stopped projecting the screen, and the boss turned to her team, who were all petting the dog.
But at the same time, all three of them froze.
"Did... did you already name our guild?" the girl with glasses asked, looking at her boss like everyone else, including Tenma.
The boss looked at everyone for a moment, and smiled confidently. She pulled out a paper that the black ball had printed.
"From now on, we are the 'SHINMA INU' guild!"
..................
Everyone fell silent, and the guild began to dislike the dog again.
