They walked through the city streets, people everywhere, birds chipping, the sounds of heels and occasional talking echoed. All three were a little uncomfortable by the woman who kept the exact same smile, not changing her expression even for a second. “That woman isn’t normal, definitely..” Ibrahim said to himself, he was trying to study her intentions. “Why couldn’t I say no? Like at all?!” Lada said between her and herself, clearly both fascinated and scared by the woman. And poor míngxīng said to himself “I don’t know who’s more scary, her or Lada.” Tbh both.
“Didn’t catch your name?” Ibrahim said, trying to start chit chat. “Victoria.” She just responded and didn’t say anything else, clearly refusing any attempts at chit chat, which yeah is a little scary..
The whole walk there was uncomfortable, but they tried their best to keep their calm both physically and mentally.
When they reached the place, they entered to a very bright and neatly cleaned reception room, the receptionist was on her desk writing stuff, almost everything had a glass like reflection, the walls, the ceiling, the floors, the tables, the doors and even some of the decorations like the vases, it was obviously designed so you can see everything even from the outside, it was neatly decorated with vases with uh… poisonous flowers, definitely normal!! The coaches for waiting were pitch dark red with white pillows, the doors were all clear glass, the lights were all with a tint of yellow, overall it looked like a dentist’s office if the dentist was a control freak who wanted to see everything at all times.
When they entered, the sounds of their shoes echoed, the receptionist just gave a warm welcome before looking up and seeing it was dr.Victoria, she immediately tensed up in fear and her eyes widened before shaking her head and trying to return to normal, she was stuttering as she said “w-welco-me…ba-back!!” Dr.Victoria just gave the same smile with a faint “thank you.” And narrowed her eyes a little and yeah that carried a silent message, the receptionist immediately fixed her posture and tried to calm down a little, dr.Victoria just said to ignore her and go to her office, everyone had mixed thoughts, Ibrahim was wondering what she even did to make everyone scared and a little afraid herself, Lada was really uncomfortable and just wanted to leave but couldn’t and míngxīng was scared as fuck.

When the entered, the office was neatly cleaned and tided yet almost a little graphic, there was a corner for all kinds of chemicals, with even illegal or dangerous ones, there was a LOT of candles and by a lot I mean it, on her desk, next to the bed, on every table in her office, even on the windows and it was those fancy old gothic ones. And just like the reception everything was clear glass or had a reflection, there were posters of description of several mental illnesses and spectrums, the walls and floors were all in a mix of black, white and blood red, and exactly blood shade, not even a little off. The bed was more of a hospital patient’s, like a mix of both and it was In a bloody red shade, the lights were light yellow but there was no need for them with all these candles.
And there was a… girl? She was about as tall as míngxīng, she had her hair in a ponytail, she was tan with black hair and blonde ends, she seemed like she was tidying up a little and she was dressed in a modest white dress, with a beige jacket over it, she had her head turned and didn’t notice the four of them.
“We’re in for a horror movie..” Ibrahim said to himself, while Lada thinks that “whatever works works.” And míngxīng’s thoughts are around how scary Victoria is.
“Zara, I am back with a few patients, can you quickly grab the extra bed?” Victoria said, her voice still the same but the girl tensed up and started shivering when she heard her, cmon was everyone that scared of Victoria? In truth yes and everyone can see why.
Zara quickly grabbed the bed and sat next to Victoria as the three sat on the edge of the bed, a little scared.
Zara said a faint “w-welcome..” they heard it but Victoria wasn’t satisfied, she turned to look at Zara and gave her the exact same expression but said a very clear “what did I say about overcoming social anxiety?” Zara immediately tensed up again, barely catching her breath before saying another “welcome!” That time it was louder and more confident, forcefully so, she looked at Victoria to see if she approved and Victoria just gave a faint “great job.” But she also says an even quieter and fainter “you should do that more often.” Only Zara could hear, Zara didn’t even calm down, she still had the same scared expression and difficulty breathing.
“That’s Zara, she’s a psychology student in mandatory training, she won’t be much of an issue so there’s no need to worry.” Victoria said, before turning to face Zara who didn’t even want to hold eye contact with her and raised an eyebrow “at least I hope so.” Sara immediately said “yes! I promise I won’t make an issues or say anything due to legal contracts that prevent me from sharing anything!” Zara said quickly and acted very much scaredy-cat, Victoria just gave a nod of approval before turning to meet the trio.
