ok, lets make a world. the world itself will be the focus, and the characters are made after what could be expected.

hm. plant. gem. sounds good, lets do that.

- Chapter Start -

it all starts in a world very different to ours.

in this world, all being are born with a crystal, gem or rock of some sort somewhere in their body. a common human or animal without any cultivation of any kind will simply have a rock. the rocks surface can always be seen.

depending on their natural affinity, this rock has a different colour.

some are born without these rocks, but through natural selection, they die off almost immidietly.

you see, this rock enables one to control a certain type of plant. often this plant is created as the human or creature uses the stones, meaning that its not just simple control. 

a human who can control algee, have to create it, using the stone.

thus, someone who cannot use this power have no defence, as all humans and creatures use these rocks for defence. 

depending on the rocks purity, the stronger the plant can be.

one who has a normal green rock (being that they can control grass, this being found through experiments) would be able to make a few straws of grass (that the rock created) (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson agrees) move slightly.

on the other hand, someone with a green gem, can make the grass created mutate and merge with the gem itself. thus, someone can create giant creatures of grass.

strenghening the rock can be done through cultivation, usage of the rock in question, and having it absorb other rocks.

in rare cases, the rock can release a weak glow. this means that the person having this glowing rock will have an easier time cultivating it.

the brighter the rock glows, the better the cultivation.

it is possible to have mutated rocks. these usually happens when a creatures soul has already existed before. this causes the two personalities to clash, creating a rock with two attributes.

the chances for this happening is next to none, as a soul most often is habiting the rock, meaning that absorbing a rock is forbidden. sadly, this does not change that mose humans absorb the rock from creatures they have defeated.

most people barely use their rock, making this a very seperated world. 

the ones with pure and crystalized rock are the nobility, while the ones who dont use their rocks are most often farmers.

the story centers around a girl. born to a priest, she would originally have a pretty good life. the thing is, she has a flaming red gem. depending on the colour or affinity of the rock, that also shows their potential.

Red means fire, having the lowest affinity and potential, this even damages the potential, and weakens them considirably.

Yellow means light, having quite good potential.

Blue means water, having about the same potential as Yellow.

Brown means earth, also having quite good potential.

Black means night and shadow, which means that it gives no boost to the overall cultivation and potential.

White means air, giving about the same boost and potential as the other avarige ones.

Grey means pollution and smoke, giving an overall better boost then the others.

Green means plantation itself. this gives the largest boost. almost all who have a green rock will decide to become cultivators.

the girl was not shunned, nor was she killed off. 

she was accepted as a human. her father had a blue gem, and her mother had a white. this meant that one of them had cheated, becouse the parents DNA counts into what affinity the child will have.

thus, the father threw the mother out.

the girl, named Sam, was a bit scarred by this. 

well, now you may ask, what does this San look like?

well, her hair has two colours. its white and straight at the top, but at the very bottom (only about a decimeter is like this) is very curly and a flaming red. her eyes are black. why is this?

well, you see, the colour of ones hair and eyes shows ones affinity. she has three. red, white, and black. meaning, air, night and shadow, and fire. this also means that her soul has lived in two bodies before Sam.

the first was air, and he had the ability to control the seeds of maples. a very specific thing indeed, but it very much suited his (yes, it was a he. souls have no gender. i mean, why would something as subjective as that take part in the overall soul of a being?) affinity. you know how a maple seed looks like, right? well, if you dont, ill describe it. its basicly a seed enclapsed in a leaflike wing, and when this is dropped, it spins in the wind, making it fly. this takes it further away from the maple itself. very specific, i know... but this also allowed him to control them very well. he got quite far, and became known in the art of assassination (the ones who inherit his soul do not have this skill, it was him alone.). her gem was seated on her forehead.

the second was dark or shadow, (with minor ability in air, altough this could not be explored) she had the ability to control mushrooms. yes. all mushrooms. very broad, but this also caused her to have trouble when it came to this all. she only lived a few years, only reacing the age of ten. her rock was seated in her right eye.

the third one, Sam, is fire, with minor talents in air and dark. there is something special about her. what is it? well... she can actually control flames. usually, red people (hooray for racism) barely even try, and if they do, they usually find that their talents lay in some minor plant such as, specificly onions, or specificly sunflowers. therefore, they are somehwhat shunned, and in some places, enslaved. however. Sams father did not take her as a slave, nor did he kill her, and niether did he sell her. he took care of her, hidden from the public eye. if someone asked about her, he would simply say "i sold her.". but when she turned 16, she realized something. unlike the other humans, who all controlled plants or some part of plants, she could control flames. using the air to fan the flames, soon she had grown quite powerfull. but instead of living a shutin life together with her father, she decided to go on an adventure. this was not done to prove herself, nor to prove how racist this whole place was. she did it only to reach immortality. she hated the very thought of death and dying. therefore, she wants to live forever. her rock is placed in her right hand.

personality? well, she is quite laidback. she overall seeks friends, as she has none.
