Part 1
Ow-ow-ow-ow-ow
shit-shit-shit
fuck-fuck-fuck
My shoulder was busted, and I had a number of scratches along my body.
The knights in the room had attacked me, but it seemed they couldn't do much more than shallow cuts. Or maybe they were holding back, because they wanted to enslave me? In either case, I tossed them aside as I tried to escape, and broke through the doors.
I hadn't expected them to be so thick, nor for my shoulder to nearly dislocate from the force. Hell, I didn't even expect for me to have that much strength. Those stone doors were thick, and they were locked in place too.
It seems Dragons in this world have pretty high durability huh?
Ah—Shit, I stepped too hard on my leg.
Though I was a four-legged creature, my two forelegs also kinda felt like arms, and I even had something like a shoulder. My right shoulder was currently busted, and every time I step too roughly with that leg, a zap of pain flows through my body.
Honestly, I've felt similar pains before, in my old body. I didn't play sports too often, but on one occasion my shoulder was dislocated while playing with friends, and on another, my ankle was twisted in a sparring accident back when I use to practice Karate as a child. Though, some would still call me a child even now. (I'm a TEEN now. Go away, stop calling me a child. I'm just a bit short)
But anyways...
Shit, my shoulder really hurts. It's not dislocated at least, but it feels like it's really badly bruised. If I didn't have thick scales, I'm sure most of my upper "arm" would be dyed purple in bruises.
Eh? It is purple?
Ah no, my whole body is just blue. Ah, blue isn't a bad color I guess. Black or Red probably would have been cooler, but at least I'm not pink or yellow.
Are there pink or yellow dragons?
I wouldn't know.
Huh? Oh right, the knights are still chasing me.
Well, after breaking out through some windows, and ending up outside in some kind of town, I began hoping from rooftop to rooftop.
Why didn't I fly?
Because I don't know how. I'm still not use to this body, and my limbs are barely moving how I want. I can't hope to know how to use my wings when I never had them before.
There's about 50 different times where I almost tripped.
And about 100 more where I did in fact lose my balance, as my foot slipped.
I can't help it. Even though moving most of the muscles are the same, I'm not exactly use to walking on all fours. My instincts are helping me a bit with that, but as expected, they're not helpful. Even if most animals can crawl as soon as they're born, they still have to learn the more precise movements.
I can hear a lot of people screaming around me, and cowaring in fear.
They're all cowering from me, aren't they?
I'm not a monster ya know?
Ah, but this is pretty cool though.
Sure, my most sacred instrument as a man is now in a form I don't recognize, but being a dragon still seems cool.
Also I'm not dead, so there's that.
Oh, the knights aren't chasing me anymore? Ah, no, it's more like they can't, because of the city.
I stop atop of a stone tower, and look around, catching my breath for the moment. As I do, I take in the scenery.
I seem to be inside of a walled city, where many of the homes and buildings are made primarily of brick, though a lot also seem to use wood in some parts.
I was apparently inside of the castle located in the center of the city, and I can even see the large window I broke through to escape.
What that-? I can see pretty far... And I can hear pretty well too. Oddly, my brain isn't being overwhelmed by all this sensation.
What's more, I can see mana perfectly. Hell, I can "feel" it. Ah, it has a lot of... textures? tastes? Well, I guess both of those work. But I don't really understand what any of these do.
Hrmmm...
Well, first I should leave the city. To many noises. I mean, I can apparently block them all out, or isolate them, but I'd rather leave. Those knight guys are gonna be a pain if I just stick around here.
With that thought, I easily hoped across buildings one after another. It helps that most of the city seems tightly packed. And it seems I'm half-way between the castle, and the city walls.
Part 2
In the end, no one was able to stop my escape. It seems I was too fast, and they were underprepared all things considered.
Maybe they didn't know how strong a dragon was?
Ah, maybe the summoning gave me extra strength, and they didn't anticipate that? No, they should have known about that. Maybe they didn't expect me to run away at all, or something?
Ah, yeah, a real Dragon probably would have stayed and fought a while, and they'd have time to surround and capture me if I did that. And those stone doors were pretty tough, so maybe they didn't expect me to be able to break it?`
Didn't they have a contingency plan or something?
Who the hell summons a dragon without a contingency plan?
Well they did have that "control collar" thing.
Ah, whatever.
So after escaping the city, I found myself in a forest. It wasn't too thick, and allowed my body, which was the size of a horse, to pass between the trees with plenty of extra room. My wings were folded of course, and I haven't tried to fly again since leaving the city. Instead, I'm trying to refine my walking motions, to get a better balance of myself.
Meanwhile, I also noticed the mana in the air. It changed.
Kinda.
What I noticed was, that the "flavor" was different.
Right, I see.
In the air, a single type of mana seems to be floating around. It seems almost flavorless, and somehow or another reminds me of water. This mana is everywhere, and flows about.
This mana is abundant, even in the city.
However, here there's another type of mana. It comes from the trees and plant life, and has a different "texture". The "texture" of mana is hard to describe to someone who can't feel or see it, and what's more, the "taste" of the mana coming from each individual plant seems to be different. Even the spores in the air have slightly unique flavors between each other. But the texture is the same. In fact, the mana inside my body is the same. And even the humans I saw had it.
So that's two types of manas I've seen.
The first, I'm guessing you could call "neutral mana"? It doesn't seem to belong to anyone, and it looks like some things just naturally suck it up. I guess you could say that we're in an ocean, and the mana in the air is the water we swim through.
The second type seems to be "owned mana", or maybe "possessed mana"? Or possible "life mana"? It looks like the living things around me are naturally absorbing the neutral mana, and then converting it into life mana. Interesting how I can actually "see" that process occur as I'm thinking this.
Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.
Ah, but, when I was summoned I remember seeing a lot of other types of mana, and their textures looked pretty distinct. Maybe mana that's used in magic changes properties? That seems natural. The mana I was looking at was probably leftovers from the summoning.
Eh, I'll probably learn to better recognize mana over time. Seeing how my body seems to link mana to such things like "texture" and "flavor", it probably is connected to memory, like how they say your sense of taste is linked to memory as well.
Ah, where am I?
I've just been walking non-stop for over an hour through the forest now.
And as you can guess, I'm lost.
Who am I monologuing to anyways?
Part 3
Right, so my name is Jason. Was, Jason.
After all, I kinda sorta died.
I won't go into details about my previous life, but I was living a pretty normal life, I'd say.
I was part-way through middle school, and most of my classes had pretty good grades.
That's mostly thanks to my great memory of course, but my grades did suffer in some of my classes where homework was a large part of our score.
—Of course, that’s because I'm lazy.
Well, nothing really exciting happened in my life. (Turning into a dragon doesn’t count—I’m already technically dead after all)
I don’t think I hold any kind of deep trauma or anything.
I also don’t really lack friends.
I’m pretty happy all around.
Or was.
Hmm? Oh, looks like I found something like a clearing in the forest.
It was a pretty suspicious clearing, that seemed to make a large perfect circle, where no trees grew. My instincts seemed to tell me that something was sucking up the plant life. And when I tried using my “magic sense”, I could even see it.
A large plant-parasite under ground, taking all the nutrients in the area, through its long roots. What’s more, I noticed the ground slightly curved inward towards the center, so I assume that it was meant to gather water for its greedy self.
Well that was fine; the damn thing wasn’t going to bug me after all. I hoped.
I decided to try spreading my wings.
And like snapping my fingers, they spread out.
Huh…
That was easier than I thought.
Still, how do I fly with these? Each one seems to be almost twice my own body length when spread out, but the skin seemed amazing thin. Despite the thinness though, my instincts seemed to give me confidence of its strength.
Well, Dragon Leather is a high-grade material in games, right?
I shiver at that thought for obvious reasons.
Anyways, once my wings are spread out, I try to move them about first.
Moving them isn’t too hard, it seems.
As expected, the instincts of other animals really is great.
I realized during my walk here, that if I ignored my past experiences as a human, walking was less clumsy.
On that note, my shoulder got better—I thought it was dislocated, but it seems it was just heavily bruised and sprained.
Well, moving my wings seemed to be easier for me—oddly enough—seeing how I didn’t keep trying to correct myself with my human muscle memories, considering I never had wings before.
—It took a couple hours after getting use to my wings, and testing out how to move them, before I could actually fly.
When I finally managed it, I tried to shout in excitement, but—
I instinctively shot a fireball into the sky—a pretty big one too.
Incidentally, a forest fire happened to start at around the same time.
—Even if you ask, I’m going to deny all responsibility.
—No, my fireball did not go up 10 meters, before crashing down into the forest
No one is around to prove otherwise.
Part 4
So after turning my back on the forest fire—which was started by someone who wasn’t me—I flew to as high as I could, and tried getting an understanding of the geography.
I wanted to get an understanding of how this world looked from above, but of course I could only go so high.
Still, I managed to get a mental map of the area.
In general the surroundings are forest, with very uneven hills, and some mountains in the distance. I also could see the city I had left, and for the first time noticed that the city was right pretty close to an ocean.
Or is it a sea?
If I was a human, maybe I’d be able to buy a map…
Putting those kinds of negative thoughts aside, I pushed myself towards the mountains. In fantasy, it seems dragons are known for living in mountains and caverns, so I imagine there shouldn’t be much difference here.
But reality shouldn’t be that simple, right?
But what will I do when I find them?
Surely they wouldn’t just kill me or something right?
Oddly, I don’t seem to feel anything like “territorial instincts”. At least, I don’t seem to want to mark a piece of land as my own, or steal a bunch of gold and jewels.
I do have this thought of “keeping what’s mine as mine”, and “kill anyone who disrespects me”.
Scary scary…
So how does Dragon culture work I wonder?
I wonder if there are any suitable mates?
…
…
What am I thinking? No, surely a human girl would be best.
Yes, lets ask the dragons if there’s something like a “human form”. Probably not, but I really want to be able to have fun with human girls.
See? I’m still sexually attracted to humans—as proof, just look between my legs.
—Eh?
Oh…
Looks like I do have a dick…
I think that’s what it is…

Author Notes:
So there's that. Anyways, I'll try to keep this updated at a steady pace, while working out some things. At the moment there's no semblance of a plot, and seems to just be the MC just dicking around.
That's kinda what it's going to be for a while, and the MC just ends up dragged into stuff while doing so.
The humor isn't top-tier or anything, and a lot of it so far is dick jokes.
Anyways, I've taken everyone's suggestions into consideration (doesn't mean to stop; keep suggesting if you wish) but I stopped responding to them to keep myself from giving away too much. If you want to know something I left out, or even spoilers for what may happen (assuming I have that far ahead thought out) go ahead and ask.
