WOOOW. So these are the dorms.

I’m in a friggin’ HUGE room with fancy curtains and sofas and a gigantic canopy bed and it’s heavenly. Man, there are SO MANY cupboards to hide in if I ever want to play hide and seek tag. Angelita ruffles her wings. She walks over and taps me on the shoulder. “So, Yuki. You seem like the sort of person who would enjoy chaos. Wanna prank some kids??” OMG YESSSS I LOVE PRANKS! I seem to have grown quite fond of them in my new life. I used to only occasionally do them, but I guess being rich is “its own deck o’ cards,” as the crazy old lady that loiters around the mansion says.

“Ummm, hello??? Yuki?” Oh no. I forgot that Angelita was talking!!! I answer her question. “OMG YES! I LOVE PRANKS!” She laughs. “Well, great!!! Let’s go!”

So we pranked. It was fun! But I’m not gonna go into detail (for the sake of the writer lol). We ALMOST got caught, but Angelita used a Magical Item that she had taken from a teacher’s room. It made everyone– including me– in a 5-yard radius pass out for 5 minutes. According to her, she had to drag me out by the ankles. She proceeded to call me heavy. So I got all offended and threw a pastry at her. She retaliated, and it turned into an all-out pastry war. Maria would have been appalled.

Haah. I flop on my bed, and then immediately remember that I am covered in doughnut crumbs. Yay. I yell to the maid that I’m taking a shower and turn the water on.

I strip and lay in the warm water. It’s really nice here. I was so positive that high school was gonna be terrible– THUNK.

There’s someone in my room. Not the maid, she has lighter footsteps. And she wouldn’t be making that much noise in a million years. So I’m assuming that it’s someone else. Not Angelita, she has a bad habit of humming everywhere she goes. And I don’t think anyone else would be in my room, so… I pull a robe on and run out. “WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!” I yell. The culprit freezes in his tracks, holding one of my textbooks. That ASSHOLE! I glare. He suddenly speaks up.

“I’m quite sorry, miss, I didn’t know you were in here. I lost my textbooks, so I was going to…” I cross my arms and huff. “So you decided to STEAL mine? Not a good idea, buddy!” I walk over to him and continue talking. “You know, if you need the books so bad, I wouldn’t mind sharing them with you. I’m not, like, evil or anything!” I look up, and Mr. Stranger is laughing. I have, like, issues with that sort of thing, so I ask him, “What’s so funny?! Did my robe fall down or something?” He smiles. “I’m quite sorry for that. You remind me of my younger sister. Anyways, I’m Keith. Nice to meet you.” I smile. “Nice to meet you too! I’m Yuki!” He formally apologizes for walking in on me showering and leaves.

“Nice dude. Weird, but nice.” The maid walks into the room and raises an eyebrow. Her eyes say, “I SENSE SOMETHING COMING >:DDDDD” but her mouth says, “Nice of you to let him borrow your books. Now, get the dress on all the way.”

Ah. I’m going to have to deal with that later. Hurrah. I yank the dress all the way on as suggested and I sit down to read a book. The maid speaks up again. “I saw that, you know.” I smile. “Yes. I’m very kind, aren’t I?” A demonic grin blossoms on her face. “Yes, lending the prince your textbooks was very kind of you. I saw no ulterior motives that you particularly would want, Miss Yuki.” I sigh. “Can’t a lady read in peace? By the way, what is your name, miss?” She places a hand on her hip and flicks her wolflike tail. “I am Anne, milady. I am to be in your service throughout the years of high school.” I put on the smile I use at my mom’s annoying parties. “Well, let’s try not to get off on the wrong foot. It’s very nice to meet you.” She smiles. “Likewise, ma’am.”

I sigh. Looks like I’m REALLY gonna have to tell Keith that we’re ‘friends’ all the time.

At the same time, Anne was determined to get Yuki and the prince together. After all, it would be of benefit to her. She could just imagine newlywed Yuki thanking her, and perhaps offering her a large sum of money…
