I like frogs

In the main cavern I found the goblins had just unleashed the rabbits and they were now confusedly hopping all over the place. Sighing to myself I went to see what I would need to do about this when I noticed one of the last few male goblins sitting in a corner petting a rabbit in his lap. I approached the lone goblin and asked his name.

“I’s Grak” he responded

“Do you like the rabbits Grak?”

“Rabbits like fuzzy frogs, I like frogs they’re green, like me.” was Grak’s interesting answer.

“Okay..... well, Grak can you go find one of the smaller side caverns and fill it with brush for the rabbits and come find me when you're done. I think I have an idea you're going to like.”

Grak nodded before reluctantly putting down his rabbit and wandering off into the dark tunnels. I immediately went to some of the spare sticks the tribe had and started fashioning a crude gate for what was soon to be our rabbit pen. After finishing the gate I decided to make a torch so I could halfway navigate through the tunnels, at least temporarily. When Grak returned I rallied a few of the goblins to gather the rabbits and had Grak lead us to the Cavern he’d picked.

The Cavern he’d picked wasn’t what I would call spacious but by goblin standards it was quite good sized, I could have probably laid down twice in any direction without issue. Grak had done a good job quickly gathering the brush to lay a loose bedding for the rabbits to use. We unloaded all the rabbits into their new home and I wedged the gate into place.

“Grak from now on your job is to take care of these rabbits, you’ll have to go out and gather vegetables and lots of leaves for them to eat. You will need to clean up after them and give them plenty of water.”

Grak smiled wide at me half shouting “fuzzy, frog, gob!” before hopping the gate and going to spend time with his new furry friends.

After returning to the main cavern I gave some quick instructions to the goblins for them to start turning the deer hides into new clothes for the tribe then headed off to talk to the trio. When I found them, I finally asked a question that had been bugging me for a while.Where do you all keep getting fresh water from?

They looked at me like I had asked if goblins were green before taking my hands and dragging me through a maze of tunnels to the source of our water. Before me was a massive reservoir with a natural spring of hot water filling it before overflowing out and away into other tunnels. I wasted no time stripping and wading in to let the heat relax my sore body and the trio was right behind me.

“Spicy soup with lots of greens” I said setting the trio to giggling as we enjoyed soaking the night away.
