After he fell he managed somehow, even if I don't know how he managed to pass the ball to me. Since I have a lot of knowledge about this world I naturally know how to play soccer. So I took the ball and immediately started sprinting although Nathan tried to block me, I ran and stepped over 8 times before getting close and doing a double dribble past him. Then I kicked the ball towards the goal with my left foot from the left side of the field, and just when the ball looked like it was going right.
Right after Brandon the goalie jumped to block it the ball suddenly curved going back left into the goal.
"Oh my god! Ava, you didn't tell me you were a god at the game!" -Tristan
"Yo Tristan, this girl you brought is crazy good. I swear I jumped at the right time but the ball curved left there's no way I was getting that." -Brandon
"Bro I swear she crossed me up so nasty I thought that I was in a real game of FIFA. But all jokes aside, seriously Ava was it? You have mad skills."
After this event, I ended up being the main scorer for the team but I swear I thought I was seeing shadows since I saw 2 every now and again so far. However, by the time everyone left, it was already 7 PM. I guess it makes sense since we got here at around 3:20.
"Ava, I'm gonna go home, It's already dark are you staying?" Asked Tristan with a confused expression
"Yea don't worry I'm coming since I live right next to you."
"Oh, You do? That's even better!" He said excitedly, as if he was waiting for a command, grabbing my hand and sprinting.
Once we got to his house he wanted to introduce me to his parents. I'm not sure why his parents would probably want to see mine but I live here by myself. I guess it makes sense though since he wouldn't know that.
"Come on you have to meet my parents"
Once he knocked on the door a slightly chubby black lady answered with moderate-length braids. Also, some baby-faced features, although I guess I'll just say the truth since anything I want is the truth.
"Hi Tristan, Have fun playing outside?" Asked his mom sweetly smiling at him.
"It was fun but I have a new friend who lives right next to us." He said pulling my hand in front of the door.
"Hi my name is Ava I'm in 6th grade, It's nice to meet you, I just moved here yesterday."
"Oh, you're so pretty, it's nice to meet you I'm Tristan's mom Tamera. You live right next to us right? Where are your parents?"
"My parents don't live with me, they just give me money as long as I have good grades kind of like a scholarship. They also pay for this apartment, I live by myself."
"Oh, that sounds terrible, you're more than welcome to come over here anytime."
With that introduction out of the way, I decided to tell them that I was going to sleep. I noticed when I got inside my house there was a living room set, A full kitchen set, a large flat screen TV, an Xbox series X, and other stuff already in the house.
'I just realized, Thank you mother I very much appreciate it." I tried to pray to the goddess.
over the course of 3 months not much happened besides, the fact that I started to see the dark shadows more often making me feel fatigued. When I got home the first thing I did was lay down not forgetting to manipulate reality to make it so Tristan has my house key that 'I gave to him at school' on the bus today in case I'm going to be late, but directly after I did that a wave of hunger type pain hit me after that I fell asleep as if I hadn't slept in days.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tristan POV:
"Here's my house key I trust you with it also if I'm going to be late for school sleeping in please wake me up"
Instantly after she said this my mind was racing, I couldn't help but overthink this to the extreme as any guy would.
Since that would be pointless though I decided to take what she said directly at face value. After this, I went to the field just like every day but there was no one there except Nathan and Brandon.
"Hey whassup Tristan, where's Ava is she coming? she's normally with you every day." Brandon asked while looking behind me.
"No, she went home to go to sleep I don't even think she will wake up in time for school tomorrow ride with us." I understand he asked this because Ava was always with friends, she also walks with me and Brandon on the way to school. We decided to start walking since it's only 15 minutes away and the bus is always loud.
I decided to go home early that day since no one was playing soccer right now, but the moment I opened the door I realized that I had put the key on my lanyard and my mom will see it. I quickly tried to scramble and take off the blue-colored key but my mom came in, I instantly reverted to a straight face and calm demeanor I call this default stance, its main purpose is to avoid looking suspicious.
"Hi Tristan, How was your day at school?" My mom asked sweetly while smiling at me.
"Hey mom, school today was fine but no one was playing outside so I came in," I said smiling back, I then threw my backpack on the rack leisurely while flopping on the couch and kicking off my slide shoes all in one singular motion.
I did this since I knew it annoyed my mom and she will immediately tell me to fix it but this will give me time to take off the lanyard naturally.
"Tristan you know I don't like it when you do that you don't have maids. Now go pick all that up and put it away"
Now after I put my stuff away I tried to naturally take off the lanyard, now despite my perfect acting I, unfortunately, can't make the key itself invisible no matter how good I am.
"Tristan, why do you have a key on you? We have a padlock on our door I didn't give you a key."
Since my default stance didn't work I decided to use a nonchalant stance. Where I play off everything she says by answering calmly and collectively to reduce the amount of trouble I get in.
"You're right this isn't a key you gave me, Ava gave me this key." I said naturally while lazing back in the chair and turning on the TV.
"Ava gave you a key? Why did she give you a key, what do you even use it for." She asked concern appearing in her voice.
"Huh? She gave me her house key and told me to wake her up in the morning since she had been really tired recently." I said with a very relaxed tone, not even looking at her as if it was natural. It worked since around 25% of the original concern was gone, but then she processed what I said and concern rose once more.
"No, you can't have someone's house key. You're not responsible give the key to me and I'll go wake her up." She said firmly as if she had made a decision clear threat in her voice.
Now I was worried that I would get in trouble, but losing the key to life is not an option with this I am the chosen one. Mind! Focus! Think now, fantasize later! I don't care what trouble I get in now I will not give away this key.
"No, Ava told me to wake her up and that's exactly what I'm gonna do. Now you can punish me or believe that I can make the right decision and support me for once." I said while standing up with endless determination in my eyes.
"Fine but you better be responsible and hold yourself accountable to get up 20 minutes earlier. Since It's not me who's gonna be disappointed if you don't do what you need to do."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now that I woke up responsibly and met up with Brandon outside, I waited 5 minutes at our meetup area before going to Ava's house to wake her up. As soon as I unlocked and opened the door a strange chill went down my spine.
"Dude you wait here I'll go get her." As soon as I said this Brandon looked offended. However, I threw up a bro code sign. Then his facial expressions quickly changed to one of understanding before solemnly nodding twice.
As I was walking around I noticed that she has to trust me a lot if she gives me her house key to wake her up while she's sleeping. 'I wonder what her sleeping face is, it must be c- FOCUS! focus on the mission man.' As I got to her room and saw her quietly sleeping in her bed, I stoned my face while solemnly taking 2 pictures before going to wake her up.
