I took that picture for relatable reasons, I'm not like those beta protagonists who have a dirty look on their faces and coincidentally grope their friends as well. I took that picture because I sleep in my clothes and people say I'm weird about that.

They are right about that, but my defense was other people are lazy too. They will find themselves taking a shower the night before and doing hygiene, then proceeding to sleep in their clothes. Which is exactly what Ava is doing right now.

Everyone gets lazy. At least that's my made-up story for today. Anyways! Back to the story, I saw Ava sleeping there peacefully and tried shaking her and got no response. Crap this sucks, why did she stay up late despite being that exhausted, I mean sure, sometimes I do the exact same thing but I didn't think anyone else did.

So I pulled her out of bed looking at her she had a very nice blue ripped-jean t-shirt and brown jacket combo going right now. I decided to put her gold shoes on her and princess carry her out. But the moment I went to open the door it hit me. 'what in the actual fuck am I doing right now'.

I unlock and enter Ava's home, I then enter Ava's room while she's sleeping, I proceed to put her shoes on and carry her out. It's at times like these there's nothing else for me to do but wonder what goes on inside my subconscious.

I'm already here now though, I gotta fully commit to what I'm doing and deal with the repercussions later. Besides everyone has to do that one outrageous favor for their friends every once in a while. I don't even gotta worry about it. This is normal, since I've steeled myself into committing I open the door hold Ava with my arm around her waist, and lock it behind me before going back to meet Brandon.

"Since you got her, let's go guys, by the way, Ava are you gonna be well-rested enough to play soccer after school today?"

"Damn I wish I lived in your apartment complex." This is our friend Andy we talk sometimes, in school. Since we decided to walk to school together today, he was also here but we meet 10/25 minutes before the walk ended, so he doesn't really get to go the full way with us.

"Wait for a second, dude why are you holding Ava like that, more importantly, Ava are you okay can you walk?" Asked Brandon while looking closely at me holding Ava with my arm under her armpit and over her waist, with my other hand under her knees.

I took the courtesy of throwing her arms over her stomach and supporting her head so I don't look overly suspicious. Either way, there is no way to explain this situation she is really gonna owe me this time.

So I proceeded to tell the boys what was going on in which case they looked at me with clear sympathy, I would look at myself the same way at this point, I'm just whipped that's all it is. Luckily she decided to wake up right as we got to the front of the school otherwise, there would really be no explaining this.

The moment I woke up the first thing I did was check my energy. I guess I'm fine now since my energy is full again. I don't even understand how I ran out in the first place, Chaos is a self-sustaining element I shouldn't have to recharge.

"Ava, you're finally awake you owe me big time for this one." Said Tristan with a solemn expression.

"You can't really be mad at me, right? I really have to trust you very much to give you my house key, you can come over whenever you want with that it will kind of be like you live with me." I said sweetly while I puppy dog eyed him.

"Well fine I'll let it go for now, but you'll still owe me a small favor or two." He said with a conflicted expression, kind of like he was mad and happy at the same time.

Meanwhile, Brandon, who heard the conversation looked on in pity. 'At this point, he is just whipped.'

"Regardless, I really want to thank you for what you did. It really must not have been easy getting me here while I was asleep." I said with a sincere expression, I really do appreciate what he did even if I could have fixed it myself.

But the day went by normally at school, although I don't remember much of the day. I feel like it's a known thing that I don't really pay much attention to what goes on at school besides recess and lunch. which seems pretty pointless to think about, once we left the school I just decided to meet up with Brandon and Tristan.

"Hi, Ava you wanna come with us to get something to eat?" Although Tristan asked me this he strangely seemed relaxed about it.

"Ummm yea sure, I have nothing better to do anyways since you know how boring home can be."

Once we got to Panda Express to get something to eat Tristan ordered for me, which was fine since we come here often on weekends and normally stick to similar meals. What was strange is that he was budgeting, he kept it around 40$ he didn't get large drinks like he usually did for no reason with other add-ons.

"Yo Tristan if we're all paying for our meals it's not that expensive, we don't have to budget like this do you need a loan or something?" Asked Brandon

"Truth is Bro, I don't have no money right now I'm broke." Said Tristan with a solemn expression.

"Wait if you're broke how are we gonna pay for our food?" I asked with a confused expression. Then it hit me all at once. I have around 600 dollars in my phone right now rent is around 560 and I don't get paid without interfering until next week. He was budgeting the price of the food because he's gonna make me pay for it. I reached into my back pocket for my phone only to find that it wasn't there.

Regardless of how skilled any human on earth is, no one can pickpocket me without me noticing. That's assuming that I'm awake to sense it, he must've decided I was paying for the food the moment he realized I wasn't waking up.

This was really depressing for me, now I could just manipulate reality and become a millionaire, but I realized something important. It should not take much of my energy for the simple memory manipulating of 3-4 people and making small things like keys. This is because if gods are real, that also means the Earth goddess is awake and she has jurisdiction over the earth. Warping reality on earth is a direct challenge to her authority, while I can do it since chaos is higher on the scale. It takes a lot of my energy because I'm weak right now.

Just because my law is better doesn't automatically make me stronger, since I can't guess how strong the Earth goddess is for now it's better to avoid detection. I need to find a discreet way to become a rich person, so I need to just stick with what my mother gave me for now. This is why I feel the pain of suddenly becoming broke since the wallet with enchantments only lasted a week now I get paid on my phone. Let's be honest, no matter who you are being broke at any time is an absolutely horrible feeling, it's one of the purest punishments society has to dish out pain.

"Wait Tristan relax for a second, we can talk about this! You don't have to do this, please can I repay the favor in another way?" I pleaded with a hopeful look in my eyes, now I could just forcefully take my phone back. However, I'm not a bad person I took advantage of him, and now I owe him 2 favors if I manipulate reality or beat him up I'd feel like scum.

"Wait a minute, while I'm so worried about you paying for lunch with my phone you don't even have the passcode right?" I looked at him with a confident smile. However, to my horror, his solemn expression stayed the same as he entered my passcode and scanned the phone. I seem to have somehow entered a state of denial and forgot that he had the passcode.

"What's mine may be yours Ava, kind of like my effort, and I may be whipped, but what's yours is also mine. Plus as it so happens I am a sigma, not a beta so I have authority." Said Tristan with a solemn expression on his face as I dropped to the floor with the despair of becoming broke.
