"It's time to head out"

It is currently four in the morning in the world Ford is in now, and that is the time he would head out to get to Laplan quickly. As soon as he had arrived at the "wagon garage" he called it, he realized he had no idea how to drive, even after the 7 years he's been in this world.

"Vulgart it is.."

He left the castle to get to the Knight's barracks in town. He arrived at the front gate, and tried to sweet talk the guard into letting him in.

"Come on, I know you want it!"

He had pulled out one silver coin. As if that would actually convince the guard to let him in. The guard just laughed and rolled his eyes at Ford's stupidity. "What do you need?" The guard just didn't want to deal with Ford's stupidity anymore.

"Uhh, fine.. I need to speak to Vulgart"

"I'm afraid he's out right now" the guard had stated. This was of important urgency though, and Ford couldn't waste any time.

"My Name is Ford Reski, I am the Knight of Princess Arias. She was captured by King William 5 years ago..."

The guard suddenly had a look of shock on his face. He couldn't believe who he was seeing. The name "Ford Reski" was regarded as a hero, as he had saved the capital of Rowan from the devoted cult.

"So... May I speak to Vulgart?"

"R--Right away, sir" the guard said, before grabbing a contact mirror, and contacting Vulgart, who was out dealing with petty thieves. The contact mirror has lit up, to signify that Vulgart had answered the call.

"What is it?" Vulgart stated. "Ford Reski's here" the guard said. Just as Vulgart had heard that, he quickly demanded that the guard hand the contact mirror over.

"Ford? What do you need?" Vulgart stated. He was surprised to see Ford again after 5 years of grieving about Arias's kidnapping.

"Another long journey lies ahead... We need to go to Laplan."

As soon as he heard that, Vulgart immediately agreed to take him without complaints, which confused Ford. "About time you said that!" Vulgart had said. It was as if he was waiting for the day Ford would try to rescue Arias.

"That was easy. I thought I would have to convince you..."

Of course you wouldn't! As a knight, it is your duty to protect Arias! I am happy to help you rescue her!" Vulgart was so willing to help Ford, which had ultimately made him happy. He cracked a smile.

"Thank you..."

"Of course! Stay where you are, I'll be there in a bit!" Vulgart then hung up the contact mirror, and then there was silence. An awkward silence, that only lasted about a minute.

"Oh, Vulgart, there you are"

"Yes, and I'm ready to go!" Vulgart seemed eager to go on another adventure with Ford. The last one they had went on was 5 years ago, when half of Rowan capital was occupied by the devoted cult.

Ford and Vulgart started to head over to a carriage, as they had both been packed and ready to go. Just as they were about to enter a carriage, Ford had heard a voice.

"May I go as well, Ford?" Medium length, white messy hair, and a gold colored suit, this was Rallden. Ford was surprised to see him again after so long. He was also happy.

"R--Rallden? Is that really you?"

"Yes it is, Ford. How long has it been? 7 years? You have grown a lot since then. A knight, huh?" Rallden smiled and approached Ford, who was still standing there, speechless.

"Y--Yeah"

Upon hearing that, Rallden just laughed and said "Nice to see you again after so long. However, I didn't just come here for reunions. I wish to help you rescue Ms. Arias" Ford was happy that he now had two other people to help him. One being someone who he hasn't seen in 7 years.

Ford was happy to finally go on another adventure with Rallden, after that last battle at the Inn 7 years ago.
