Are you stupid?!" Rayn would say while proceeding to laugh menacingly, or maniacally. Rallden just looked at him with a half smile, the sword still piercing Rayn's stomach.
"I can never be killed! I'm invincible!" At this point, Rayn was turning into the definition of insanity itself. He had the mindset of an immortal being, which is what he was.
"You know, there is still one person who's missing..." Rallden said while ignoring Rayn completely. Then, a response "Would it happen to be me?" A 23 year old man, long messy brown hair, and a bandage covering his left eye stood before Rallden.
Ford Reski, Ford had arrived on the scene, but just a tiny bit late, as Rallden had already defeated Rayn. Rallden couldn't help but notice Ford's eye--
"F--Ford, what happened to your eye?"
"Something stupid, let's leave it at that.. It certainly hurts like hell though..." Ford said, as he chuckled. He couldn't help but be optimistic in a situation like this. Well, actually, he could. Anyway-
"Always the optimistic one, aren't you, Ford?" Rallden would also let out a small chuckle as he heard Ford's response. At this point, Rayn, who was flat out ignored this entire time, was starting to become annoyed.
"I'm still here!" Rayn said, as he let out another maniacal laugh, before releasing himself from the clutches of the sword. Rallden wasn't surprised, but Ford was standing there speechless and dumbfounded at what he just witnessed.
Rayn, standing up as if the wound on his stomach was nothing. "Huh?" Was all Ford could muster out as he witnessed the impossible right in front of his eyes.
"So, this world has immortals, huh?" Ford would ask out loud. In the seven years he's been in this world, he had yet to witness a single immortal being, until now.
Rayn, at this time, was starting to grow confused, as he had responded with "I don't know what you mean by 'this world', but yes, I happen to be immortal" then, he stuck out his hand, and suddenly, Ford flew to an incoming wall, but stopped himself from hitting it just in time with his light sword.

"Ah.. that could've killed me, you know?" Ford would proceed to say, while getting up and dusting himself off. "The gate of light really comes in handy sometimes..".
"Damn you. I'm really starting to get fed up now" Rayn said, with pure anger. He then would try to throw a shard of glass at Ford's other eye, but Rallden had stopped it just in time.
"You keep forgetting that I'm still here" Rallden said with a smile on his face, as he grabbed his mace and used it as a shield.
Rayn, at this point, was already going insane, so he would launch every shard of glass there was in Ford and Rallden's direction. But of course, they were all blocked by the mace.
"Now, Ford, we are going to charge at him. You ready?" Rallden said quietly so Rayn couldn't hear them. Ford would just nod in response as he formed a light sword and started charging at Rayn.
As he was running, he managed to let out a single sentence, and that was--
"If I can't kill you, then I'll just have to capture you!" Then, blank.
What had happened? Well, Ford had succeeded. There was another stab wound straight in Rayn's stomach, as the old one had already been healed. Then, he was wrapped in chains by Rallden, which does seem pretty barbaric, but it was the only means they had of capturing him.
"How did it go?" Cecilia had happened to walk in exactly at the end of the battle. "I have Rayn with me. Put him in the carriage, we're taking him to Crowlan".
Ford then turned to Rallden, and said "Now, let's go save Arias". Rallden would just respond with "right" as they made their way to the pits of the castle, where Arias was probably being held. Ford, of course, had no idea if that would be correct though.
