I DID IT. MUWAHAHAHAHA... so. here it is chapter 6. First things first, a bunch of news/resolutions XD
1. I won't promise city construction anymore. If I do, I feel as if I'm rushing it... this was actually one of the reason why this chap took too long. FYI. this chap has no construction, and I am no longer promising to explain construction till I finally slow down the pace where I can do it lol but their will be bits and pieces in the chaps. As for how he does it, that will be later on though I will also show bits and pieces of it.
2. I will make this my main series now. "What about the other one?" Well, I have plans for it.
3. I actually have an editor now. Still don't know how that's going to work, but will do it (P.s. this chap was not done by editor. This is the last chap I have that has no editor. Next chapters would be seen by editor before post. P.S.S editor (I don't know if he wants to be known), send me a message on how to contact you XD)
4. HAPPY LATE CHRISTMAS/ HAPPY HOLIDAY and HAPPY NEW YEAR
Enjoy

Chapter 6: (The Plan (part 1)
It was a cool afternoon. The forest was beginning to come alive with glowing fireflies, glowing vines and the soft music of nature. Honestly, the only thing ruining this picture was the post effects of a recent battle. I kneeled to one of the holes on the ground. I could smell a putrid stench, meaning it was acid. Pretty powerful considering I can’t even see the bottom.
“Hey Riesse”
I heard rustling from above. As I looked up, a girl suddenly jumped down. She had red hair and striking red eyes. They were so prominent that her camouflaged combat attire couldn’t fully hide unless she wears a hat and a shade to hide her striking appearance. Really, I need to focus on creating a combat helmet for the girls.
“You know, it’s not polite to stare for too long”
I saw her blush. Whoops, I really need to fix my habit of staring.
“My bad, I was just lost in my thoughts”
She became even redder. I feel as if there was a misunderstanding there, but this really isn’t a place to comment about it.
“Did you find anything?”
She coughed and regained her initial stoic look. She then pointed to the west.
“There seems to be a ritual that happened there recently”
I gave her a confused look.
“Ritual?”
“Yes, there was some signs of magical circles being used. Also, a dense mana field has formed in that area”
I see. If that much mana was concentrated, then it’s with no doubt that some kind of spell must have been used.
“Ok, so we know that someone had summoned the beast or at least led it here. I wonder if it was the Demon army”
I then looked at the footprints on the ground. They were pretty huge, though it shouldn’t have been a problem for anyone. I mean, the basilisk was only categorized as an E rank monster by the girls. Fairly easy prey. Actually, I don’t really know since I myself have not even seen the thing.
“Hey Riesse, did you see any parts of the basilisk that may have come off from the battle?”
“Hmmmm…”
She placed her hand on her chin and thought for a moment. It then seems as if a lightbulb turned on as she suddenly disappeared from my sight.
"Ok…"
A few seconds pass and in a blink of an eye she returned, but now she carried a small red scale on the palm of her hand.
“Ohhhhh… This must be the scale of the Basilisk”
It was beautiful. I touched the surface and was immediately met with a cool feeling. It was smooth to the touch, and it emitted a red glow from the setting sun. What picked my interest was the field surrounding it. It was void of mana, more like the scale was absorbing it. That is really interesting.
“Hey Riesse, do you know why there’s a void surrounding this scale?”
“A void?”
She looked at the scale, flipping it around like a coin.
“What do you mean by void?”
She tilted her head in confusion. Huh. Can she not sense the void? That is weird, but then again, Riesse has the lowest affinity to magic in the entire group. Guess I’ll just have it analyzed by Ciel. I sighed as I took the scale from her.
“Never mind, rather this is pretty impressive isn’t it?”
She shrugged.
“I guess, but even with this much destructive power, she still lost”
We both looked around the entire battlefield. Acid could be seen everywhere, but the craters were more numerous. Most of the forest was also charred and a huge earth spire could be seen. Though, the earth spire was halved as the top part had crumbled to the ground. Strangest part was the fact that the lower stump of the spire was coated in magic while the other half had nothing. Even with all these destruction, she lost. No… she almost died. Just how can these powerful spells not win her the battle? I took another sigh. My mind was filled with only questions. I really need answers.
“Come on Riesse, Let’s head back”
She came over to me, her hands behind her back. I saw a sharp glint in her eyes.
“Don’t you want to walk around a bit more and explore?”
I gave out a yawn. It’s been a long day of training, construction and, yes, exploring. Yeah, I need some rest.
“I’m really tired, it’s been a long day you know. It would be better if we hit the hay”
“Mwuuuuuuu”
It looks like she’s pouting, why? I don’t know. All I said was that I’m too tired to explore. Was there something in those words that I shouldn't say?
“I never get to see you much anymore…”
“…”
I think I heard something profound, but my mind just couldn’t register it clearly.
“Say again?”
“It’s none of your concern”
She instantly showed her back to me as she began walking towards the base. Just what is up with her today?
_____________________________________________________________________________________
After a few minutes of constant walking and running, we finally made it to the entrance of the city. Riesse is still mad for some strange reason, and the only reply I’ve gotten from her was
“It’s your fault…”
I could only stare blankly at her with no refute. I mean, how is it my fault, when I don’t even know what I did? I kept trying to ask her, but I’m always getting the same reply. Honestly, I felt kind of irritated, but I’m a patient man. A man with a strong, mental capa…
“BRYAN SAMA!”
My ears were instantly bombarded with loud noises. I instantly tore off my headset, afraid that my eardrums would bleed.
“Aghhh”
“Are you ok Bryan?”
Riesse ran up to me with a concerned face. First you were mad, now you’re concerned… what a change, though it’s better than being ignored. I gave her a calm smile.
“I’m alright. I just got surprised, that’s all”
I placed my headset back on.
“Is that you Bridget, oh and please don’t shout again”
“My apologies, but it’s an urgent message. Currently, we’re having some tro…”
*Clash* *Crash*
I heard a bunch of things breaking. I then heard several curses and shouts.
*Boom*
From the distance I saw a small explosion. Great…
“Please get over here to the villa Bryan Sama. We can’t contr…”
Her words was interrupted by a sudden thud. The connection went silent. Then, I began to feel a disturbance in the force. I looked ahead and saw clouds gathering. Holy shit, they did not just get her angry.
“Riesse, we have to hurry. If we don’t, we might need…”
“YOU BITCH, YOU’LL FUCKING PAY FOR THAT”
A scream entered my headset and was immediately followed by a huge explosion. I could only stare in dread, knowing that I’m going to be repairing a lot of things in the future. Yeah, I’m stopping this fight now.

“…”
“…”
“… I’m really sorry Bryan Sama”
We were all currently in a room. Ciel and Riesse were sitting right beside me while Hilda was serving us some much needed coffee. In front of us, two girls were sitting in the seiza position. One was a hotheaded girl with black hair and purple eyes. The other was a blonde hair, blue eyed girl who was very prone to action. It was Bridget and Marlana. Looking at the fact that we were in a room that was half destroyed, I feel the irritation welling up within me. Screw patience, I made this place to withstand spells and it still got destroyed to this degree. Marlana's magic alone wouldn't dent the walls, but apparently Bridget had activated a second explosion spell that corresponded with Marlana's, hence a co-operated spirit bomb was mad leading to the destruction of the wall which took me TWO DAYS to make. That fact really irritates me.
“Why am I also sitting like this?”
“Because you’re partly the reason why this happened in the first place”
I stared into Marlana’s eyes which seemed to make her shiver as she turned away. I then looked at Bridget who also shook.
“And you, didn’t I tell you to control yourself?”
“But… she sta… she rui… my dress”
Huh, dress? I looked at her combat attire. There was a small tear on the side. Did you honestly just get mad over a torn dress? I sighed as I pinched my forehead.
“You know we can just repair it right?”
“But, to take away master’s time from the city, I would never…”
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
I raised my hand to stop her. She immediately piped down and began to look at me with upturned eyes.
“You know, you girls matter more to me. This city is merely a place for us to stay. What really defines a city is the people. Without people, a city could never be a city. That’s why when push comes to shove, the people must always be first without hesitation. That’s why you shouldn’t be afraid to ask for my help when you need it. I’ll just hold of construction for a while and help you girls. This goes for all of you, Riesse, Ciel and Hilda”
All four of the girls looked at me in surprise. Then one by one, they began to bow towards me. Eh… EHHH. Just, what is…
“Thank you Bryan Sama”
And a thank you. Yeah, I could feel myself blushing from this gratitude. Ever since I came to this world, I’ve been learning. I’ve been able to show a lot more emotions, and frankly I’ve been having a lot of fun. Constructing my city with the girls, eating with them, talking with them, adventuring with them. These past months have shown me things that I would never have done happily in my previous world. I feel blessed just to be surrounded by these girls.
“It’s no problem. Just remember to always rely on me, kay”
"""“Hai”"""
Now then, I looked at Marlana.
“So, telling by the destruction. I believe your wounds have healed, no?”
She shifted herself probably from the eyes that was staring at her. She also seemed to be moving her feet as I saw her wiggle her toes. Oh, I felt a smile appearing. This can actually work in my advantage. At least this way works better than most without any physical harm.
“Ciel, Riesse. Hold her down for a bit and help her 'relax' will ya!”
I saw a strong glint in their eyes as their mouths curved into a smile.
“With pleasure”
Marlana first looked at me and the approaching girls. I felt darkness surround her as the two girls reached for her with outstretched hands. Marlana felt the incoming danger and tried to stand but immediately fell to the ground.
“Ehhhhh?”
She panicked and placed her hands in front of her.
“FIREBA…”
“[negation field]”
The fireball immediately disappeared.
“I can’t have you destroying the house again, so I placed an anti-magic field. Just give up and stop your worthless struggle”
I smiled as I watched the scene unfold before me. I could see the fear in Marlana’s eyes, while Riesse and Ciel where only filled with mischief. The two girls have experienced this “punishment” before. Honestly, this was one of the best ways to get the girls to admit their mistake. They held down Marlana back into the seiza position. Time to begin.
“Ok Marlana, I’m going to ask you some questions. If you answer well, then nothing will happen. But if you answer wrong”
I gave Riesse the signal. She surrounded her hand with mana and gave a quick light jab to Marlana’s feet.
“Nyaaaa…”
An unsuspecting sound emerged. Also, Marlana’s face had transformed to something that I can only describe as… unbecoming.
“…”
“…”
“…”
‘…”
“Please, don’t do that. It feels weird”
She gave all of us an innocent expression. This girl… is really dangerous in so many ways.
“Bryan, can I do that again?”
“Yes you can”
“NO WAIT!”
Riesse poked her in the foot again.
“NYAAAA…”
Sweat began forming on her face. Well… this should be a fun talk.
_____________________________________________________________________________________
“So that’s why she couldn’t beat it”
I looked at the exhausted girl lying on the floor. She was sweating crazily as a pond had formed beneath her. She was also breathing heavily and her face was red. It almost looked as if she’s had an intense night of passion.
“I can never get married anymore”
I saw tears form in her eyes.
“Come on, you were only being poked in the feet. If you really want to grovel about your marriage, then we’ll gladly take your chastity from you”
Ciel looked at the girl with a mischievous face as she groped the air. Marlana crawled to the corner, fear could be seen in her eyes.
“Stop messing with her, she’s gone through a lot already”
I could barely stop myself from laughing. Honestly, I didn’t expect Ciel to grow into a sadistic person, though that probably is my fault for always messing with her. Riesse on the other hand became really timid and shy which shocked me initially. Ciel smiled as she ran over to me.
“I was just kidding master, though I wouldn’t mind if I can get a toy… I mean acquaintance in the near future”
I flicked her in the head.
“Get your mind out of the gutter already. We have more urgent business now”
Though I say this, I was actually smiling and laughing with them. I patted her on the head, which seemed to make her happy. Honestly, these girls were my pride and joy. Back to the subject though, the creatures of this world was dangerous. I could see why the kingdom had ranked them at rank A. Because they relied on mages, they couldn’t kill demonic monsters that easily because of the creatures’ ability to absorb magic. Also, the shells seemed to be impervious to swords. That’s why the girls have ranked it E. To them, killing it with a bullet or bashing it with the butt of the rifle works very effectively. Adding the fact that they can enhance their strength, our war potential was overkill. But how is it that they’ve managed to hold of the demons this long? The only thing I got from Marlana, was that a summoned hero was the key for them to win. Honestly, placing all the responsibilities to the hero… That’s just cruel.
“Bryan Sama”
A girl suddenly appeared out of nowhere and took a knee. It was Velvet. Like Bridget, she had black hair though it was braided in a ponytail. Her eyes were celestial blue, a very pretty color to look at.
“Yes, is there anything wrong?”
“We’ve spotted an army marching in the northwest”
I stood up in surprise. An army, here. Well… this was a chokepoint so maybe they were heading for the human continent… wait.
“Northwest? Isn’t that the human continent?”
She nodded.
“Did you see there banner?”
Marlana suddenly stood up. Her previous exhaustion was gone.
“Yes we did. It was a Red and black banner with an image of a sword piercing a hand”
I could hear the gears spinning in Marlana’s head.
“Who are they?”
She gave a sigh.
“They are from the Principality of the Aarmista Kingdom. They are called the blood knights”
Something clicked in my mind. The blood knights. I’ve heard of that name. They were a secret sect formed by the Simolian government from my original world. They were ruthless killing machines who were incapable of emotions. Furthermore, their names come from their presence in the field of battle. When I fought beside them, I still remember. Every person was coated in blood, hence the blood knights.
“Who are the blood knights?”
Surprisingly, it was Ciel who asked. Marlana looked at her, fear in her eyes.
“They are the cruelest people in this world. By their decree, anything that stands in the demon continent is to be eliminated”
Whoa… wait. You mean to say.
“Then that means…”
She nodded confirming my fears.
“Once they see this base, they will come and they will attack it”
“Even if they’re humans”
She nodded.
“By their understanding, any human in the demon continent has betrayed humanity”
Well… These guys sound just like the ones I knew. I groaned as I leaned back in my chair. More problems just keep rising. There has to be a way for me to get through this peacefully. Wait a minute. There going here probably because of Marlana. If I give her back to Artura, would they leave?
“Would negotiations work with them?”
Marlana looked at me for a second with a questioning look. She then twitched lightly, before regaining her composed face. What the?
“The knights are unblock able. Once they set out, no one can stop them. I even heard a story once that their king couldn’t stop them from fighting the demon army. They lost half their men, but they still wiped out the entire army through luck”
That’s… really suspicious. They are really beginning to sound like the sect I knew of. Ugh… this is really a pain in the ass.
“Velvet, tell the rest of the girls to man the bunkers. Hilda, I want you to secure Marlana’s men. Tell them, if they want to live, then they’ll have to fight with us”
“Understood”
The two girls instantly disappeared.
“Bridget, go to the headquarters tower. Set up a sniping perimeter aimed northwest”
“Alright, I finally get to shine”
She quickly stood up and spectacularly fell to the floor. Oops. I forgot her legs must have slept already. I quickly healed her and she stood up with a red face. She then kneeled before leaving through the door.
“What about us Bryan?”
I looked at the sisters.
“I want you to look after Marlana Ciel. As for you Riesse, you’re coming with me”
They both gave me a confused look.
“Where are we headed?”
I smiled as I looked to the Northwest.
“Were going to negotiate with an inconvincible army”
