Ariya woke up and found her in an unfamiliar place which made her confused.

“Am I dreaming?” she thought. She was sure she had an accident. So she should be in a hospital. Then why was she lying beside a lake?

She felt wet and cold.

 “What happened to me?” She thought. “I didn’t fall into the lake, right?” She was puzzled as she tried to figure out the situation.

Since thinking got her nowhere she let it go. Now she tried standing up but much to her surprise she couldn’t move a muscle.

“Eh! I can’t move? Is it because of the accident”, Right then she noticed her body. Her hands and legs were really small. They resembled a child’s body. This discovery made her dumbfounded.

Suddenly her head started hurting and various information started flooding her mind. According to them, she died and now she was in a different world in a 1 year old child’s body. It’s soul completely merged with her and she gained control.

She was really confused right now. What type of a situation is this? It’s like she’s inside a fiction. :P

“If I believe everything then someone should come and find me, right? There’s no way a baby will be kept lying around beside a lake all alone like this.

It seems she was right. Pretty soon she heard a voice, “Young master Frau! Thank goodness I found him.” It was a woman in a maid’s clothing running towards her.

There was a relieved expression on her face. She has been looking for her  young master for quite a while.

She bent down and scooped up the baby. But as soon as she touched him her face paled. He was wet and cold. She frantically ran towards the mansion.

As soon as she reached inside she found a towel and a change of clothes and quickly dried  the child.

During this time Ariya was looking around everywhere. The mansion was quite big and it was made of stone. She didn’t find anything similar to electricity but there were lantern’s and torches and the flames were brighter than normal which made her quite interested.

Right now the maid just brought her inside a room which looked quote similar to a nursery. It had a little cot for a child to sleep. There were toys and clothes for children and a rocking chair by the window. The room looked pretty comfortable to her.

“It might not be bad living here. Though this world looks kind of backdated but it’s doesn’t seem to pose much problem yet.” So she decided to live here. She already believed that she’s dead in her old world because after an accident like that there’s no way she can be alive. Moreover everything that’s happening felt so real to her that she couldn’t even think of denying them.

So she decided to live a new life with a new identity in a different world.
