My name is Martha. I am a commoner so I don't have a last name. I work as a maid in the noble house of Farnandes. My job is to take care of the youngest child of the household, Frau-sama. I have been with him since he was born.

When he was born, madam shunned him because he was a boy and his left eye turned out to be red. 'Demon child', this was whispered among the servants. For three years I have lived with him. He definitely isn't what they called him.

Today is his 3rd birthday. He grew up to be a beautiful and delicate child. His body is quite frail. His hair is a little wavy and raven black like his mother, his skin is jade like. Truly a beautiful child. I am proud of him. After all I raised him myself.

I thought I would see his growth with my own eyes. But my dreams have been shattered. His being sent away to his uncle. But I think It's better this way.  Because His uncle Duran-sama is a great person. He will surely have a good life.
