This Blunder Is Punishable By Death

Not a single person had expected this. Neither had they been able to follow the speed of the creature in the slightest.

"Bright!"

"Sir Bright!"

"You bastard!"

The Sword Hero and twins all yelled simultaneously in disbelief as they disregarded their fatigue and charged at the creature.

Sweeeiii~

Its figure blurred as it streaked across the place, and in the next instant, two heads rolled off.

The twins' headless bodies fell to the ground while their heads swirled multiple times across the air before slamming into a piece of rock up ahead.

The rock was instantly drenched in scarlet liquid that left multiple trails across the mountain grounds.

Sword Hero Morningster's eyes widened as he swung his sword weakly, but it didn't take even a single bit of effort for the dark creature to dodge him.

Icy winds suddenly gathered and turned into a glacial storm as Princess Valerie raised her hands.

She swung them downwards, causing a hail of icy spikes to rain down upon the creature.

The dark armored creature looked like it had gotten pierced as the projectiles rained down. However, Valerie soon noticed it vanished.

She suddenly felt chills run down her spine as she turned around while yelling, "Blessings Of..."

Before she could complete her sentence, the creature grabbed her neck and thrust its other fist forward.

Puchiiiii~

His entire arm drove into her chest, causing Princess Valerie to spit out a mouthful of blood.

Sword Hero Morningster was in a state of shock at that moment as he watched the creature pull its arm out. Princess Valerie innards gushed out from the hole punctured in her along with blood and unknown liquid.

The creature proceeded to slash at her multiple times with its long dark claws.

Valerie was torn into pieces as her body parts rained from the air along with a fountain of red liquid.

A strong metallic stench filled the air instantly, and Sword Hero Morningster's eyes clouded with despair as he stood amid the corpses of his party members.

It was as though the creature wanted to torture him by letting him watch everyone else die first before dealing with him.

He suddenly recalled the young teenage boy and looked around, 'At least he is safe,' He let out a small sigh of relief.

"Stay alive, kid... I'm going ahead first," He muttered while driving his dim five-foot-long sword forward.

The creature watched him approach quietly. Sword Hero Morningster could spot the glint of ridicule in his eyes.

It grabbed the sword like it was a toy and pulled it from Sword Hero Morningster's grasp before whooping him with it.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

He whacked Sword Hero Morningster's face repeatedly with the hilt, causing blood to spill as he staggered backwards.

It became a humiliating sight as Sword Hero Morningster kept trying to charge forward only to get smacked backward multiple times.

The creature was toying with him at this point.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Ghiaarrhhh!" He yelled and charged forward once more despite his swollen face.

This time, the creature grabbed his face and slammed him into the ground.

Boom!

Cracks spread across the place as the creature proceeded to stomp on the chest of the Sword Hero multiple times.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Sword Hero Morningster's entire body was bathed in blood at that point, and he puked a number of times.

His eyes turned blurry as he could feel his life slipping away from his body with each stomp.

'I didn't achieve much, but I hope the other heroes will be able to save the world...' A smile appeared on his face as his vision began turning dark.

"Enough!"

A loud masculine voice echoed across the severed mountain.

Sword Hero Morningster was on the verge of death already, but he still managed to notice the small outline of a teenage boy in raggedy clothing.

'Ingal...?' This was his last thought as he finally gave up the ghost.

~sigh~

"Did you just murder him?" Ingal questioned from up ahead with frustration in his voice.

The creature's foot was still above Sword Hero Morningster's body since it had paused upon the appearance of Ingal.

It didn't even notice that it had subconsciously stopped when the young boy uttered the word 'enough!'.

The creature paused to look at Morningster and then slowly lowered its leg onto the ground after noticing that the being under his foot had been crushed to death.

It seemed confused as it stared at the teenage boy with raggedy clothing. But more importantly, it couldn't fathom why it didn't sense the presence of this young boy till he spoke.

This teenage boy was, of course, none other than Ingal.

However, it was almost like he was a different person. His voice was deeper and more mature.

His eyes were sharp, and his expression bold. It was like his personality had undergone a stark change. It was the opposite of what anyone who knew him would recall.

The creature's head tilted to the side slightly as it studied the teenage boy before him. No one had to tell it before it understood that this boy wasn't ordinary.

"You caused a mess here, didn't you?" Ingal said while stepping forward with an intense glare.

"Cat's got your tongue?" Ingal voiced with an offended expression after he didn't get a response.

"Seithu masia vri teh," Ingal chanted the moment he arrived before the creature.

Its eyes suddenly widened as intense fear suddenly gripped its heart, causing it to jump back instinctively.

Fwwhwiii~

It landed fifty feet away from Ingal, with its eyes still widened in shock and panic.

"Eki... sahetu... jolu...?" A mixture of masculine and feminine voices was heard from the creature up ahead.

"Tsk tsk tsk you're not going anywhere," Ingal voiced in response.

The creature suddenly turned around and sped forward in a bid to head for the gate.

Fwwwhoomm~

Ingal suddenly appeared before it, "You should have thought twice before coming to disrupt my plans over here."

He slowly stretched his right hand forward.

Boom!

It sounded like an explosion went off as the creature got sent flying by an insurmountable force before Ingal's hand made contact with it.

"Guoorh!" It screamed in pain as its body ricocheted across the ground, causing cracks to appear across what was left of the mountain.

The moment it got its bearing, it made use of the momentum to swirl his body in the opposite direction and jumped to its feet.

Fwwhiii~

It instantly began fleeing.

"I said you cannot escape. This blunder is punishable by death," Dark flames suddenly erupted from Ingal's eyeballs.

It looked like his eyes were burning as he pointed his finger in the direction of the fleeing creature.

A baby-fist-sized dark flame appeared in mid-air. It was sizzling with so much energy that the air began to twist and turn in the environment.

The ground beneath Ingal's feet got charred upon the appearance of this flame, and everything in the vicinity was being cooked up, despite its small size.

"Return to the ashes where you belong," Ingal muttered before releasing the black flame.

Thwoouuusshhh~

It shot forth with incredible speed, causing the environment to reverberate with a whizzing sound.

The creature who had already left a distance of more than two thousand feet between himself and Ingal suddenly felt an incoming force.

The moment it turned around, a dark projectile streaked past it.

Boom!

The projectile had torn through more than twenty thick trees behind and up ahead, leaving massive holes in them. It's momentum was undeterred as it burrowed through another mountain.

A hole as large as an entire building was left in the mountain. The moonlight was visible from this massive hole.

The creature almost let out a relieved look until it smelled cooking flesh.

Upon lowering its head, it noticed the large hole in its body. The projectile didn't streak past it... it bore through its insides.

A dark flame was left on all of the surfaces that the projectile made contact with, and the creature wasn't spared.

"Giarrrhh!" It roared in agony as the dark flame spread and consumed the entirety of its body.

A few moments later, only a small pile of charred corpse was left... and in the next few seconds, every single bit of the creature's body was completely obliterated by the dark flame.

Not even its ashes were spared.

Ingal stood atop what was left of the other mountain behind, with his eyes shooting a deep gaze in the direction of the forest ahead.

The entire forest was burning down.

"I used so little, and yet it won't stop till it razes the whole forest down... even the neighbouring towns will be affected," Ingal analyzed.

Pah!

He snapped his finger in the next instant, and the black flames died down.

The swirling purplish gate behind slowly closed up, returning the environment to tranquillity.

Ingal rolled his eyes with a slightly annoyed expression before turning to the side.

He stared at the corpses of everyone, which were mostly incomplete and scattered across the place.

Ingal walked around them till he arrived before Bright's corpse.

"I don't really like this one, but I must revive him as well," Ingal then moved towards the Sword Hero's corpse and squatted.

"You can't die until I achieve my objective," He said while placing his thumb in between his lips.

He took a bite, and blood gushed out.

Ingal proceeded to stretch his thumb forward, and a drop of blood fell from the little cut he created.

Pit!

The scarlet droplet kissed the dusty ground of the severed mountain, and a weird phenomenon occurred.

Thiiiiiihhhhhhggggg~

A bright violet light surged forth from the ground, and a circle with unknown runic figures appeared across the mountain.

"Goddess of death... heed my command... revival," Ingal's domineering voice rang out loudly, causing the brightness to increase.

Zzzhiinnnnnn~

The corpses sank into the ground in the next instant and phased out after a second completely restored.
