Today is supposed to be the day the heroes finally make an appearance in public. Naturally, like every good samatarian (or all-powerful god), I decided to attend the little party.

What's that? I haven't been invited? And it's only for nobles?

Well, nothing a bit of complete body takeover can't do. I alerted Lex of my little trip and she looked quite sad that I was leaving already. What a good child~

I first made myself invisible and intangible, then I teleported inside of the king's castle. 

I took a quick look around, thinking over who to take over. I could just make myself a new identity and showcase some wealth, but that wouldn't be as efficient now, would it?

After a couple minutes of skipping over either fat nobles or overly muscular generals I finally found someone I liked. 

She was a rather short girl for her age, only being 155 cm tall even though she's supposed to be 17 already. 

And like that, I entered her body without anyone noticing, not even herself. Unfortunately for her though, her soul had quite the allure, and I ended up eating it. Well, she died in less then a millisecond, so at least she had it quick. 

I quickly took control over the girl's body and called up her history. She was the second child of a very rich noble family, but she was deemed unfit for magic or swordsmanship, so she was sent to a general school for education over other matters. 

She wasn't very ambitious, only wanting to marry a good man and live a happy life. She hoped that maybe one of the heroes would be to her fancy, even though she knew that even if they were the chances of them being available was, to say the least, non-existent.

She came to the party alongside a couple of her friends and her parents, so I'll have to deal with those guys. Luckily, I can easily replicate each and every emotion, manner and memory of hers, so I won't get discovered. Although it's annoying, I can put up with it.

Wearing a fake smile, I waved through the crowd, reaching the forefront of the entire show. There were buffet tables and even a dance section, but nobody was going there right now. Well, that was until now.

I walked up to the buffet section and took a couple strange muffin-cake mix. They looked weird, being purple and all, but it was actually really good. Of course, it can't compare to MY foods, but it's still good for these mortals.

After 10 more minutes, the nobles finally decide that it's time to end the sugar-coated compliments/favor hunting and actually eat or have fun. I rolled my eyes at those nobles. They truly never change, do they? No matter how many eons pass, they will always feel superior.

I simply waited around, eating and declining young boys who wanted to dance with me. I didn't miss the occasional leecherous look, but I payed it no mind. Why do people say it bothers them so much? They're just young, perverted and powerless retards after all.

After yet another half an hour, an attendant finally shouted "The Heroes and his majesty Alexander Lionheart are here!" 

The entire hall quieted down, but soon someone started clapping. Naturally, everyone followed, creating a booming noise of cheers and clapping. 

The king entered from the back door, his wife and his two daughters at his sides. Behind him were three men and two girls. Naturally, they were all japanese and had an average look. One boy had glasses and a slim stature, one looked more athletic but still somewhat average and the last boy was the tipical shut-in type. 

The girls were all average too, one with long blond hair, one with short black hair and one that was hiding behind the blond one, looking only around 12 years of age. 

I stiffled my laughter as best as I could. They were just so... unheroic. They just looked like your tipical teens from high school, honestly, how do these people expect to rely on these cowards?

After the king said the tipical "Bla bla bla, heroes are awesome, bla bla bla, they will save the world, bla bla bla", essentially sugarcoating every single letter of his, the nobles finally got in line for introducing themselves to the heroes. 

I went over to the father of the girl I inhabit and stood next to him, my 'brother' to my side. Since they were a rather powerful family, they were pretty close on the line.

After about 10 minutes, it was finally our turn. I looked at the heroes as the father introduced himself and our family, what we did and how good we were to the commoners. Sugarcoat, sugarcoat and more sugarcoat... Man I hate nobles...

One of the males caught me evaluating them and stared back at me. I smiled cutely at him and tilted my head, causing him to blush and turn away. As I thought, they know not of the word 'shame'

As the father began to introduce us, I stopped him with a quick "No need." 

He frowned and was about to say something, but no words came out of his mouth. It's only natural, since I did block him from making any sounds, just as I blocked every single other noble in this room. Not the heroes though, as I wanted to hear their reactions.

"Hello, heroes. You seem lost on what is happening, but do not worry, everything is all right. I simply wanted to make a small speech." I said, my mouth twisting up into a brilliant smile.

The heroes blinked and didn't seem to know what to say, so I simply added-

"Oh, yes, where are my manners? My name is Infinity, the self-proclaimed God of Gods, and also the creator of the [Infinity Palace], which I assume is what these mortals want you people to conquer."

[Masuki Pov]

I was returning from school, chatting with my best friend Namori when suddently a portal opened beneath us and we fell in.

After that, we discovered that we had been summoned. Cliche, right? Well, the funny thing is that even my crush Sakura was here! And another really pretty girl too, along with a loli, which is cute but it would be injustice to go futher. 

Another guy was summoned, he never really talked much before, so I don't know why he's here. Still, after the king explained to us that we were going to have to help them and in return they would let us return home, I immeditely agreed. I really want to go home after all.

The new boy snorted for some reason though. Honestly, it's important to listen to king-sama, you know? *Author: I don't know when I became a masochist, but it's actually painful to my pride to write a POV about such a complete and utter shit character, which literally every story on this site has. Seriously, gimme a break..!*

After that, he introduced us to his wife and daughters, which are really cute. I really wonder if they have catgirls in this place, and if they do I want to go mofu mofu with them, but nothing indecent! Well, if they agree...

He then led us out into a big room where hundreds of richly-dressed, medieval-styled people were milling about. A guy announced our arrival and everyone cheered. I felt slightly self-conscious...

We were introduced to various nobles afterwards, and many of them offered us promises and gifts, wishing our luck on our journey, which I still don't know what it's about. The king just smiled when I looked at him curiously.

Then, one family came forward. They introduced themselves to us, and whilst I was zoomed out I noticed a beautiful girl looking at me blankly.

I looked back at her and she smiled at me!!! Kufu, my life is complete!!

When the man was about to introduce the girl and her brother, she suddently stepped forward and said "No need." With a beautiful smile.

I got worried since her dad looked angry. He looked like he wanted to say something, but wasn't. Then, the girl introduced herself.

"Hello, heroes. You seem lost on what is happening, but do not worry, everything is all right. I simply wanted to make a small speech."

I blinked a couple times, confused at what she was saying. She waited for a couple seconds, but upon noticing our confusion she added-

"Oh, yes, where are my manners? My name is Infinity, the self-proclaimed God of Gods, and also the creator of the [Infinity Palace], which I assume is what these mortals want you people to conquer."

My mind was devided into pure confusion and thinking that this girl was extremely arrogant, but the way she said made it sound like it really was real.

The king got up and tried to shout something, but no words came out of his mouth. Actually, no sound could be heard at all.

The girl smiled and walked towards us, the boy next to her tried to stop her but he was easily pushed aside. 

When she was in front of us, one of the guards tried to hit her. My mind went blank once again, screaming at me to help her, but I was too terrified. 

However, the guard simply... disappeared. Then, everybody froze on their spots, unable to move, including me.

"Didn't I say it before? I am the god of gods. I'm just here to check out what humanity has to offer to please me. It doesn't seem like much though, so let's say that should you heroes fail to conquer my palace, I will erase humanity from this planet." She casually said, terrifying me.

Then, her body began to shine, but one side was a dark color, which shouldn't even be possible. She then exploded in a flash mixed with gold and black, as if she transformed into light itself. 

When I reopened my eyes, a pedastal with a sword in it was the only thing that remained. My gaze lowered and I saw a small note that read
