Smiling to myself, I turned off the TV and got up from watching animes for several months in a row. It had been a while ever since I talked with anyone other then Lex, and she has been busy managing the palace and making future plans for improvement.
She says that she wants to turn the whole lower part of the palace into it's own ecosystem formed up from many, many different and smaller ecosystems, each tied to the main one. She should be busy with it for quite a while, as all the defenses have already been taken care of.
Well, considering the simple amount of mana she has at her control and her regeneration rates, I would be suprised if she didn't finish them by now. But that's something for another day. After all, from what one of my spies told me the [Heroes] have been summoned.
Oh, just to clarify, it's not that I'm particularly interested in mortal affairs, but I want a general idea of what they plan to do, and simply wanting to know with my power isn't fun. Suprise is a nice part of life after all.
Just to clarify, my spies are but simple flies with enhanced intelligence. They're as smart as humans and really good at gathering intel. I made them myself~
Now, it would be a lie to say I wasn't expecting them to summon [Heroes], but I thought it would take them longer. [Heroes] do have a very chaotic nature after all.
Chaotic doesn't mean bad or good though, it just means... random? They tend to always be different, but they generally follow a set path which strays further and further as time passes.
1: They will without question follow whoever summoned them and slaughter an entire race because 'They're evil!'
2: They will have doubts and try to pacify everyone. Most of these often die.
3: They straight up refuse to fight and are either enslaved or let free. Depends on the summoner.
4: They will join the demons. These are without question the rarest ones, as humans tend to despise demons no matter how 'non-racist' they are.
Personally, I doubt that the heroes will refuse to fight. After all, they're merely being asked to conquer a dungeon. I forbid the gods to directly conquer the dungeon, but they can still bless the heroes who will conquer it.
I did say that if more then one blessed person enters the dungeon, the two blessers will both have to agree to a single wish, and it can't be something like "Make both of us...", meaning only one thing can be done or only a person will receive something.
Since I deactivated my vision into the future, I don't know what kind of things the heroes will do. Honestly, I'm extremely excited.
Heroes, back in my world, were always looked at with disdain, and I can understand why now. I used to as well, as our culture often stated that no man or woman should ever be 'saved', for that was the worst disgrace possible. To save someone from death was essentially a guarantee for you to forever earn the person's ire, and wars could break out from it. It happened, trust me.
And what do heroes do? They save people. Thus, people used heroes as examples of what these humans consider evil gods. I know it sounds weird, but that was just how it was and nobody questioned it.
Sighing, I teleported down to what shall be the boss room. Inside of it, a magma throne stood tall at the highest point of the entire thing. Lava floated down from it's sides and ran through the walls. The room itself was over a kilometer squared, so there was enough space.
After adding a bit of decorations, including a couple hidden chests and treasures, I got on with my next project. I needed something strong enough to be considered a boss, but still humanely defeatable. Thus, I had been in a bit of a bind over deciding what to pick.
But, the last anime I watched gave me inspiration. It was called [Dark Rogues], and it essentially showcased an assassin with superhuman powers doing... assassin's stuff? Mostly killing, but there also was quite a lot of drama and romance. No friendship bullshit though.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
My inspiration came from one of the villains, a demon. Yes, I know it's not original, but it gave me an idea of who to summon. I know the guy pretty well after all. Well, I know everyone and everything really fucking well, but that's not the point.
Stretching out my demonic hand, I gathered mana and slowly began chanting in an omnious tone. Soon, dark runes appeared in a giant circle in the center and after a couple minutes, a demon finally appeared.
The demon had two huge horns that curled up like a goat's horns protruding from it's temples, two demonic wings beating behind him. He had purple skin with some black spots, overall looking quite cool even for a mere King rank.
The demon looked around and then his gaze landed on me, scrutinizing me. He snorted and said "Are you my summoner? Huh, you look quite pitiful. At least you prepared a worthy reception for me..." He smiled and looked at me "Oh well, your soul will be quite tasty anyway."
"Varshamur Mouyanresha." I simply said with a big, happy smile and the demon's eyes widened before he grit his teeth. "How do you know my true name?" He said threateningly.
"938 years olds, ranked up to king 200 years ago. You used to serve another king, but you overtook him when you ranked up. Your favourite dish are fiend beans and you are secretely in love with a Duke rank named Lilianna." I said, my smile never breaking.
His teeth were grinding so much that they looked like they could crack. Well, it's expected. After all, for a demon, their private information means literally everything for them. If someone knows their true name, a demon has to obey that person without fail. Furthermore, the more a person knows about a demon the less chanced the demon has at devouring the person's soul.
"I could go on and on you know? But why bother? Be a good boy and be the boss for my little dungeon here whilst I go back to lazing around~" I say cheerfully and almost leave, but am interrupted by the demon screaming out "Wait! How do you know so much about me you bastard!?"
I turned to him and tilted my head before putting a finger to my cheeks. Then, I simply said "I am the god of gods. The one with infinite power. I can do anything with but a thought, which includes simply erasing you from exitance." I said with a happy smile and turned on my weakest aura.
The demon lost all of the color on his face and fell to the ground, spasming and trying to breathe. He would die instantly if I ever turned on my many auras, and with just this one he would die in less then a minute.
I turned off my aura after a couple of more seconds, and waited for the demon to get back up. He was sweating immensely and was beyond horrified of me now.
I laughed and waved my hand dismissively and said "Oh, don't worry. That was just my weakest aura. Wanna see a glimpse of my true power?" I said with a childish smile, excited at the idea of finally showing off.
He quickly shook his head. He looked beyond terrified. I pouted and said "Oh... Well, just guard this place I guess. If you get defeated by the guys who come here it won't be a big deal, but do at least try. If your performance is unsatisfactory there will be... consequences. The reeeeeaaally bad kind." I said with a wonderful smile that seemed like a death sentence to the demon. I shrugged my shoulders and teleported back to my room. Oh well, time to play some good old games on my holoset.
[Varshamur Mouyanresha Pov]
I have never seen anything more terrifying then that... thing. I refuse to aknowledge that being as anything else then exactly what it said, the god of gods.
When I was summoned, I was pretty happy since I could finally come out to play. Naturally, the first thing I did was appraise my summoner, who looked like some kind of half-demon and half-angel.
I personally don't have anything against mortal demons, but us immortal demons are much stronger. Usually. The difference between us and mortals is that we come from the astral plane whilst mortal demons are simply an evolved form of humans.
Still, the being looked weak. I couldn't help but be arrogant. Then, it just casually said my true name, which nobody ever knew. Except it, I guess.
Then, it told me every secret I had. Well, the fact that I liked Lilianne isn't really a secret, but still! To think that a mortal knew all of this made me confused beyond belief. And angry.
However, when it activated it's aura it felt as if the entirety of the world was shaking, screaming and collapsing all on me. It was stronger then even the Creator, by many, many times too.
And then it just casually said it was it's weakest aura! I almost died under it as well...
Honestly, I was torn between pure fear and worship. To think that I get to serve a being like this...! The Creator couldn't even ever hope to come close! He is strong, yes, but in front of this being he is but a speck of dust. No. Perhaps he is even less then that.
The pure feeling of power that radiated from that being after the aura ended was not something of this universe. I don't know if it was suppressing it, but I felt as if the entire universe was inside of that thing. No dragon, no deity, no god and no creator could ever hope to even touch that being.
I shivered at my own arrogance. What was I thinking...?
However, it let me live, so I would serve it with all of my might. It said that I had to guard this dungeon, and I will do so with all of my might! I don't even have to win, just give it a show. And that is exactly what I will do to prove my everlasting loyalty.
