Visions flowed past me: me fighting the elements, me razing a city, a skeleton imbued with power, a dragon cast from the skies, the world filled with death. Then I awoke suddenly, and I realized three things: first, I wasn't dead; second, [Ultra Storm Blast] worked as a skill; and third, I was in a dungeon, not a [Dungeon], just a regular prison, then something struck me, How do I know what a [Dungeon], and WHY AM I IN A PRISON, I saved this whole city. As I mulled over these strange events, I saw a blinking light in the corner of my vision. This usually meant notifications from the system; I opened my [Personal Interface], and instead of my stats, I was shown [Achievements]; again, I pondered how I knew what they were and how I knew the term; I just looked at them, [You have defeated a C-rank, B-rank, A-rank, and S-rank all while being a much lower level, HOW IN THE GODS NAME DO YOU DO THIS!!!! You have gained [Achievment], [Hunter of the Gods], Grants passive [Apex Predator], all attacks now deal 1% more damage based on level, all attacks now execute enemies below 10% health, all attacks now deal Debuff: [Fatal Wounds], the target is damaged for 1% health, this doubles every 2 seconds, all monster below your rank does not attack you, and any sentients will be discouraged from attacking you, you receive a permanent item of your choosing. You have gained [Achievment], [Grande Armée], OK, where did you get those Undead? That's a tremendous mental strain you had. Still, you raised an army like a conquerer of old; you have been rewarded Skill, [Steel Mind] and Skill, [Mana Reinforcement], [Steel Mind], which makes your mind more focused, significantly reduces mental strain, negates mental attacks, and dramatically reduces pain, [Mana Reinforcement], use mana to reinforce your body, intensity maximum is 1000%, reward for achievement, [Ultimate Melding Stone], and [Astral Awakener], five skill type.
This new sub-system appeared to be a sort of reward system, though I bet that the rewards were inflated to match my powers; the [Astral Awakener] was a good example; those five skills would massively increase my power, the [Ultimate Melding Stone] appeared to function as a way to fuse items, including my two armors. After thinking about this, a prompt appeared in my vision: [Would you like to fuse [Armor of the Deathly Gods] and [The Growing Shadow's Hope], Y/N]. I selected yes. The armor flashed blue, and it changed once more, the wolf claws in gauntlets, became more ornate, and embroidered in gold, and the armor, grew more robust, fabric and metal combined to create an impossible substance, it grew more ethereal like it was connected to the Afterworld, the armor was gilded black, the new appeared, [New armor created, [The Growing Death God's Hope], B rank, +400% movement speed, increases and matches with user rank, Self-cleaning, Self-repairing, full set bonus [Ever-changing] always matches environment if not desired can be disabled, Glove of Godly Clawed Shadow, the wearer can never be disarmed and receives 100% more damage on unarmed attacks, grants buff [Alpha Wolf's Fury] grants 200% more damage to self and party, Hood of Godly Shadow, the wearer cannot be blinded and cannot be revealed from spells, skills, or normal eyesight up to SS rank, enhances vision range to up to 300 yds, Tunic of Godly Shadow, grants 50% damage reduction on hostile magical physical attack damage and 50% damage reduction on physical attacks, grants ablity [Afterimages], creates a three illisory copies that do not require any mana to use, Trousers of Godly Shadow, user gains 75% chance to dodge all attacks, Boots of Godly Shadow, footfalls are entirely silent and the user can never die from falling, attacks that disrupt footwork do not work on the user, and the user gains the skill, [Death-flame Trail], when activated sparks a trail of Death-Flame which removes 5% health every 5 seconds that an enemy is in the fire, and heals allies for 5% health every 10 seconds, [Death Crown], Undead below rank cannot attack you. Skills gained, [Divine Creator], [Divine Charisma], [Divine Strength], [Divine Attunement], [Divine Wisdom], the armor's abilities had grown stronger with the abilities being enhanced, there was one new interesting ability, [Death Crown] that just made me immortal against lower ranked Undead, and [Death-flame Trail] synergized well with my [Apex Predator] if I activated it would quickly whittle down an enemies health, and its perk of healing meant that any undead I summoned would be much harder to kill, as I was contemplating my new power, the cell door suddenly opened with a loud squeak, like a mouse being suffocated. The woman from the battle was standing there; I used [Truesight] on her, and what I saw surprised me: [Celeste Stormwing, [Arcane Scout], B-rank, danger level low, notable skills, [Cascade], [Deflection Field], Would you like to see all skills, Y/N?] I thought no, I had already gained everything I needed from the skill. The knowledge that had been injected into my hard, cold skull told me that [Cascade] was a buff that caused you to be able to deflect all attacks for 5 minutes; more interesting was the skill, [Deflection field], having the same effect but at as an area of effect. It was exclusive to the [Shielder] class line. How do I know that? Is it like how I know what manasteel is and whether those skills belong to certain classes? Something had changed since I had been Lichified. Revived? Reborn, I thought, then I realized my chariot of thought was racing away; I recentered myself and looked up at her. Then I realized that I hadn't gotten a notification from killing the [High Necromacer], that was my last thought as suddenly my body froze.

I had never seen such a powerful B-rank. We were supposed to be the middle of the pack, not weak, not strong, yet this [Lich] in front of me had won against an S-rank in battle; it was a feat that, if it had happened to a human, would have sung in tales of [Bards] for centuries, even people with advanced classes had quivered in fear of the [High Necromancer], me included. My forbidden black skill, [Deflection Field], had been from my [Arcane Scout] class; it was an impossibility made incarnate, but for this [Lich], even a multitude of black skills couldn't explain the power coming off of it. The armor was oddly familiar, but for now, I needed to complete my mission, Adventurer Mission: Free the [Lich]. The request was odd, and no reward was listed, but it had come from the guild master themselves. "[Static Freeze]" at the uttering of my skill, the [Lich] froze. I put him in the [Dimension Rift], a skill granted storage space, and started running.
