Chapter 6.5

On their way back to the village, Lilliana was thinking about Masato. The mysterious young man who appeared out of nowhere with the power to take down an A-Rank Mithril Golem and tame an S-Rank Demon Spider.

She knew that if word of his power got out, many people could want him under their control. It would be disastrous if an expanding country like the Kinzar Empire or the Great Huaishe Empire had such power.

"My lady is there something wrong?" asked Rolph.

"Yes, it's about Masato," Lilliana replied with a serious tone. "Rolph, Village Chief, no one is allowed to

know the details about this conversation, understood?"

""Understood.""

"Good, have you heard about the tales of the legendary hero who defeated the Evil gods?"

"Yes, I think most people know of this tale. He was summoned from another world by a country one thousand years ago. Wait, Lady Lilliana, do you mean...."

"No, it's not certain, however in the stories, it mentions that the hero also had black hair."

"Hmm, that's true that black hair is indeed unique. What if Masato was a descendant of the hero?"

"That could also be a possibility. However, we're not even sure if the hero even left any descendants since after sealing the Evil Gods, he mysteriously disappeared."

"This indeed is very troubling. However, even if Masato doesn't have connections to the hero, there's still the threat of his Demon Spider Queen."

"I think we should have a close relationship with him. With his powers stronger than a nation's army, we can't afford to mess up."

"Yes, that's very true."

"My lady may I make a suggestion." asked the Village chief.

"Yes, you can."

"Thank you. What if Masato was to become a citizen or a noble of this country. Surely that would not only create a relation between him but also bind him to this country."

"That is an excellent idea and could very well be the solution to our problem."

"I am glad to be of assistance."

"Rolph, it is vital that we notify my father and the King about Masato as soon as possible."

"Understood."

After a while, they arrived back at the village. The village chief had left to tell the villagers to prepare for Masato's return. Rolph said he wanted to do more training on his own. So Lilliana alone decided to visit Estiel, who was locked up in a cage.

"HEYYY, LET ME OUT!" screamed Estiel as he shakes the metal bars. The villager guard notices Lilliana approaching.

"Um, young lady. Under strict orders from the village chief, I must not allow anyone near here."

DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE IGNORE ME DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO I AM!"

"Ah, I understand, I was hoping to have a chat with him, but judging by his current attitude, I doubt he's willing to cooperate."

"You must be the Village Chief's guest, my apologies!"

"No worries."

"Oi, you woman. I'm bored; entertain me," commanded Estiel, but he then noticed it was Lilliana. "It's you huh, guess you managed to get out."

"Well, unlike someone, I didn't conspire with bandits."

"No, you misunderstood. My mission was to take down Bhatos and his bandit group from within."

"Oh really, so why did you allow some of the villages to die?"

"Um...Well!, It was a necessary sacrifice! Now let me out of here!"

"No."

"Thank- Wait, what."

"Estiel, you are a noble of the Kingdom of Rymeth. It is your duty as a noble to protect the citizens, no matter what. Plus, you mentioned that you were going to deliver me to your boss, didn't you?"

"As I said, the villagers were necessary sacrifice, and I didn't know anything about your kidnapping. Now let me out, and I'll make you my women."

"No."

"Haha, finally you under-Wait, what."

"Like I said, since you colluded with wanted criminals. You will be taken to the royal capital, interrogated by the knights, and then sentenced."

"Wait, you bitch let me out of here." Estiel kept calling for Lilliana, but she ignored his demands.

"Oi guard, let me out of here, and I'll give you all the gold and women you want."

"..."

"Don't ignore me!"
