"What! They failed?! Did they not release the Undead Lord?!" Viscount Basard shouted at the messenger before him.
He was relaxing in his carriage, heading back to his territory from the capital, initially to escape the destruction. However, a horseback messenger caught up with them.
"My apologies, my lord, the release of the Undead Lord was successful; however, it was eliminated before it could do anything."
"How?! The Undead Lord is a natural catastrophe; only a hero can stop it. Bishop, what do you know about this?" Basard asks the man that was sitting opposite him in his grand carriage.
"Viscount Basard, I am confident that this is not the hero's doing. We ensured that she would be far away from the Kingdom before the plan started."
"Then tell me who the fuck is messing up all my plans!?" Basard throws his glass of wine at the messenger, who didn't react in time and caught it with his face. "It's fine; they won't know that it was even me. I made sure not to leave any evidence that connected me to those undead fanatics. Now get out of the way; I need to immediately get back to my territory."
Viscount Basard certainly made sure not to leave any evidence. However, hiding in the shadows was a small eight-legged creature, listening to their conversation and reporting back to its queen.

"So you're telling me that this shitty noble was the one that caused all this trouble. Man, I want to punch him in the face." I said whilst biting off a chunk of horned rabbit meat.
The rabbit meat was pretty good, but it was not seasoned properly, in my opinion. Celia was sat down at the table, happily munching down everything I bought her, especially the sweets. Though that was after I 'ordered' her to do so.
Celia had thought Kumo was my wife or something, and now she was being spoilt by her.
But anyway, as Kumo told me, one of her kin reported that it had unintentionally found the people responsible for releasing the Undead Lord. It was by chance that this spider wanted to use that specific carriage as a ride to find a new place to settle down. I guess spiders are more intelligent than we think.
Though that wasn't really my problem anymore. This attack was explicitly against the people of the Kingdom of Rymeth and not me. But I would feel responsible for not stopping a catastrophe when I had the power to do so. The only other person who could probably defeat that thing was the hero, who was apparently not in this country.

Either way, it's all done, so let's just move on.
Since Celia was finally discharged, I wanted to celebrate, but there wasn't much to do.
Celia wanted to eat, whilst Kumo wanted to fight using her new body. But before even doing anything, we went straight to a clothes shop.
We skipped past the high class looking shop with the rude owner and found a comfortable and calm looking shop. From the outside, the clothes weren't too expensive, nor was it cheap.
I could just use [Exchange] to purchase clothes from Earth; however, it might look bizarre compared to clothes worn by the people here. Though things like underwear should be fine as long as no one sees it. Not that I would let someone see it in the first place.
We walked into the shop, where giant piles of clothes were everywhere, plus a brunette girl with glasses and messing hair snoring on top of them.
"Is she sleeping on the job!?"
"It would seem so. Would you like me to wake her up, Master?"
"Sure, go ahead," I said telepathically, but how Kumo woke her up was questionable.
She used one hand to lift her up by the head and threw her towards another pile of clothes.
"Wait, Kumo, that's a bit too aggressive!" I shouted as I panicked, but somehow she was still snoring away. A short brunette girl walks in through the door at the exact moment.
"Oh, there's customers. Sis, I swear to the Gods, if you are asleep, you can say goodbye to your dinner!"
"Huh, wait! I was totally awake!"
Suddenly, the girl that Kumo threw jolts awake, and I don't even think she realised that she had thrown to the other side of the shop.
"I apologise for my older sister; she likes to slack off whenever possible. My name is Maria, and that pathetic excuse of a sister is my sister, Elze."
"I can hear that, you know!"
"That's the point. Now go to the back and finish folding those clothes. Don't you dare slack off whilst I help the customer."
From my point of view, the youngest, Maria, acts more mature than her older sister. Celia and Kumo both looked confused at their sibling relationship.
"So, how may we help you?"
"I would like to have some clothes made for us."
"Of course, what would materials would you like?"
"Can I use my own materials?"
"Yup, that's okay; we can work with just about anything."
"How about the silk from a Demon Spider?"
"The what?" replies Maria.
Suddenly we could hear running and then Elze tumbling out from the back of the door.
"You have Demon Spider Silk! Please let me make your clothes, I beg of you!" Elze begs me on the ground, which just weirded me out, but Kumo comes over and throws her into another pile of clothes.
"Kumo, please don't do that unless I tell you."
"Understood, though I fear that this one's idiocy might be communicable."
"No, that's not how it works."
"Master, Celia doesn't want Master to be an idiot."
"Celia, don't believe everything you hear. Stupidity is not contractable." I turned to face Maria, who was the only one who remained calm though I could sense that she was also excited about the Demon Spider Silk. "Fine, I would like all types of clothes made using it. Make sure it's comfortable and moveable; we are mercenaries, so we will be fighting a lot."
"Understood," replied the calm Maria, whilst her sister simply screamed with joy as she ran to get measuring tapes.
We took turns to get our bodies measured and was finally freed. The sisters took even longer measuring Kumo; apparently, her measurements were extremely impressive.
"It will take about four days to complete two sets of clothes. You can pay half now and a half when you pick it up. However, since this is our first time using such material, you can pay it all later."
And that was our clothes shopping done, next I wanted to go to the guild to pick a quest. My very first quest as a mercenary in another world, and I was excited...or so I thought.
