Atop a far away mountain sat two mummified figures side by side in the lotus position with their eyes closed. The saffron robes that they wore were fluttering gently in the morning wind. If one were to gaze upon these two figures they would, at first glance, assume that the two had frozen to death long ago.
In fact that was what the men who had stumbled upon them had assumed. The group of men were on an expidition to map the mountains in the nearby regions of the Human territories. They decided to take the two corpses and make graves for them so as to give them peace in the afterlife.
The wind began to pick up as the men approached the two bodies. In an effort to place them in their graves the taller figure of the two opened its eyes and an ancient voice creaked out.
"Hehehehehehehehe. Yesss~ It seems the he has finally returned. Master, shall we-" the ancient voice had stopped mid-sentence and after a few moments of silence
"Yes Master. As you command." The ancient voice faded into nothingness and the corpse's eyes slowly closed. The wind died down and everything returned to as it was. However the men who were present absolutely lost their shit. What they experienced was, to them, a religious experience that not even the pope could hope to have.
But even if that were the case, they could never speak of what had transpired. The Gods that Humans believed in, as in only the male ones because of sexism and all that Human nonsense, were beings of awesome and infinite power that were to be respected at all times lest they be subject to heavenly wrath. This fear of their anger and the possibility of the Gods not wanting to be found had kept their discovery under lock and key.
After a few hours of prayer the men left behind food as a form of tribute and continued their journey to map out the mountains with high spirits.

"So what's happened since I've been away. What's Homeward like these days?"

"I dunno. Ask Belv."
"What do you mean 'I dunno. Ask Belv'?"
"I mean I don't know. I wan't there, I left. I went off planet."
Stas couldn't believe what he had heard. It was a known fact that Deities were tied to their home planet. No one was able to leave yet Anya said otherwise. He had always known that even when Anya was lying to someone there was always a half truth hidden somewhere in what she said.
"How? It's not possible but since it's you and you've always done stupid and reckless shit I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. How did you get off planet?"
'Ooh he's pissed.' Stas was playfully angry most of the time. But when he got 'angry' angry, even Anya needed to reign it in.
"I got permission."
"Permission? From who?"
"From-" Anya paused and her expression grew dim. "Hold that thought." Anya quickly turned around ran over to Belv who was both awake and confused. The memories that Anya had unlocked conflicted with what was already in her mind.
"Belv shut up and let me explain."
"But I wasn't even-"
"SHHHH. Before I left I needed to ensure that you, your brother and your sister were able to live peaceful lives until I could return. So I did what any good Gaurdian would do. I erased your memories of me from what they were to the fun uncle who suddenly disappeared one day. In actuallity I am your uncle, but not in the way I made you think. Trust me you'll get it in about five minutes."
Anya was in a rush, she was visibly upset about something and that made both Stas and Belv uneasy. The walls of the astroid became transparent once again, making Stas behave just like Belv did when she first saw the infinite depths of space before them, revealing a planet sized meteor on a war path towards Homeward. Suddenly Anya was no longer in sight and the meteor, following a giant flash of light, vanished as if it was never there.
Belv couldn't believe it, something like that almost destroyed the entire planet but no one had any idea.
"Sorry about that. Things got crazy out of nowhere. So where were we? Hello? Stas?" Anya's reapearence snapped Stas out of his stupor.
"What the hell was that? Ortig- Anya, whatever!. What the fuck is going on?"
"I want to know too" Belv was just as confused.
For a short while Anya said nothing. And then, she spoke.
"Alright, fine.......Hahhh.....It all began a little less than two million years ago, shortly after I sent Stas and the chamber away from the Hunters who were after us.
