The elder went silent, because he remembered something really bad, he had no way of making me leave the planet and if his true body returned to earth he had no way of supressing his spirit pressure. The people of earth were too fragile and spiritualy brittle, even a tiny bit of pressure is enough to cause them to panic, more can make them faint, as he was now, his spiritual pressure would probably kill everyone.

The worst however thing was what he learned at the sect, by coultivation laws everything I'm doing isn't even considered "Evil", Evil in the cultivation world is different than what evil is in the mortal world. Last Taboo was killing another person without a valid reason, family bonds, unless your family were cultivators, didn't count, meaning that even if someone murdered his whole family as long as they weren't soul snatched or used in order to further someone's cultivation, it was seen as mundane affairs and immortals shouldn't interfere with mortal affairs if they ever want to accomplish their Immortal Ascension. The elder had sort of cheated in order to attain his spirit Severance and the reason he was able to pull it off was because of me. In the originl timeline in his anger he had forcefully severed all his attachments to the world, so that he could defeat me, don't ask me how this makes any sense.

I could however tell that the elder wasn't happy with my return, not happy at all, of course who would have been happy if a precious talisman crafting immortal returned. In the Sect craftsmen were valued higher than combatants and seal/talisman masters were a small minority, the problem was that those greedy alien would happily gift the earth away in order to gain the favour of someone useful, but unless I unleashed my spiritual pressure they won't be able to know I've returned, of course I didn't know that at the time, the elder saw no reason to tell me about it.

I watched his face crook as I told him I would bang his grand daughter, but in reality I was just trying to get even with him, I'm not that sort of guy. At least I wouldn't go for someone's close ones in order to get revenge on them, logic dictates to just go for the person themself.
