Ben humming happily to himself found Anna outside of the Altar room still completely embarrassed crouched down with her head in her arms. “C’mon Anna, stop mopping I’m not mad you know?” Ben said to the distraught monster girl. She merely buried he head in her arms further. “I’m going to make my first undead, you want to come along?” he nudged her as he talked.
She raised her head slightly at those words but still faced the ground. “I thought by hiding it, I could continue to eat you, without you minding, because you would only think of me as a brainless monster….” She began to cry after saying that. Ben seeing her crying started to laugh not the giggling someone gets when they’re trying not too but a full blown belly laugh.
Anna completely perplexed at his action and taking offense at the fact he was laughing at her, slowly raised her tear-stained face. Ben opened his mouth to speak but before he could do so she socked him right in the gut. The unexpected hit from Anna broke a few ribs, ruptured an organ as well as sent him flying down the hall landing in the room where they originally entered at the feet of a perplexed Francis. “Oof, glad she held back” He muttered, rubbing his deformed belly and lower ribs “that would have hurt more if she didn’t.” Francis just looked at the man with a look that seemed to say Nah Da Idiot, What did you think it might feel comfortable?
Ben slowly climbed to his feet after drinking another expensive elixir. Suddenly the sound of a stampede was heard as Anna ran down the tunnel toward Ben. “Ssssssoooooorrrrrrrryyyyyyyy” with that statement and all of 0.2 seconds to brace himself, Anna tackled Ben flying down the next tunnel and landing in the pile of goblin corpses.
“Anna for love of all living things, mostly me, PLEASE learn how to control your strength.” Ben Shouted before spitting out a mouthful of blood.
“Ahh, not again I’m very sorry!” Anna cried before trying to wipe the blood off him. Ben terrified for his life and knowing that the elixirs effect was running out, quickly moved away from Anna to the side of the room. “Nope, nope, nope, nope, NOPE. No touching me till your strength is under control.” He said terrified.
Anna merely pouted at him. “I’m not that bad.”
“Every single time you have touched me ever since you became a ghoul has resulted in an injury, with increasing seriousness and deadliness. I would have died from that tackle if I wasn’t under the effects of the healing elixir.” Ben retorted.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
Still pouting at him, trying to force his conscience to have a guilty feeling, Ben returned her stare with one of righteous anger and indignation. He failed. But she stilled rolled hers eyes and said “Man up Farm boy or you’ll never get strong” before she started to look around the room. That just so happens to be when the stench of what she landed in reached the part of her brain that said whether it was a good smell or bad one. She gagged and quickly left the pile.
Now that Anna had left the pile of rotting corpses in the middle of the doorway to a fairly large cavern Ben could look around a bit. ‘Probably his experimental lab’ Ben thought.
The cavern wasn’t that wide or long about half a kilometre either way, with longwise being slightly longer. They couldn’t see too far (well Ben couldn’t) because the light of the torch only extended about 2 metres away from the doorway.
Francis chose this moment to walk out from tunnel they went flying down and looked at Ben with his somehow all-knowing skull that does not yet does show emotion, that seemed to say Oi practice on them and don’t touch anything else!
Not knowing what he did to deserve such a look Ben proceeded to stand up and walk closer to the corpses. Under Francis’s and Anna’s supervision of course.
With that he casted his first and only spell currently “Raise Undead!” nothing happed for 3 seconds then a window appeared in front of Ben:
Please Choose Option: Basic: Skeleton: 30 Mana Adept: Zombie: 100 Mana (locked due to level) Master: Abomination: 1000 Mana (locked due to level)
He studied the options for a bit before selecting: Basic.
Suddenly the corpse on top of the pile began to shake and shudder. Falling off the other two corpses its flesh began to melt or disappear causing Anna to comment on what a waste it was.
When the flesh stopped melting (or disappearing) all that was left was gleaming the white bones of a goblins corpse. The bones stood up and turned towards its summoner “What shall I do for you master?”
“hahahahahaHAHAHA, My first servant already ready and willing!” Ben shouted happily
“Shouldn’t we name it?” Asked Anna
“hmm” thought Ben with a hand on his chin “you’re right for my first summon it should have a name! your name shall be –“ He said turning towards the skeleton
“Bill.” Anna said cutting him off
“what no?!” Cried Ben “Why bill?!”
Suddenly a notification appeared in front of Ben:
Contractor has named Ben’s Summoned Skeleton, Summoned Skeleton's new name is Bill
“NOOOOOO!!!!!!!” Ben cried with tears in his eyes as he fell to his knees.
“But I’m a girl though?” said Bill tilting her skull.
Anna in her complete and utter embarrassment of naming a girl Bill, punched her killing the newly formed Skeleton and causing Ben to have a mana backlash which knocked him out.
