The Kings Bridge is a vast and ancient bridge, wide enough for 50 caravans to cross, long enough that it would take from dawn to midnight to cross it. The walls around the bridge are as tall as 10 men. If you reach the center of the bridge, you would be at the center of the whole world. The center of the bridge seperates the four kingdoms. The northern bridge is the Malut kingdom, the southern bridge is the Akari kingdom, the western bridge is the Wanitia kingdom and the eastern bridge is the Riab kingdom. And at the center of the Kings Bridge is the pathway to the Uncharted Lands.
The Uncharted Lands are, simply put, lands that only adventurers and madmen enter. Many enter, few leave. The only way to enter it is by rowing a boat from under the Kings Bridge directly to the west or to the east. It would take an entire day and an entire night to reach it. One cannot go there from anywhere except from under the center of the Kings Bridge. In the four corners of the center there is a ladder going down, and under the center there is a large platform. Dozens of boats are locked there. You have to bring your own boat, as they are not given for free.
You will have to row the boat under any of the 4 massive bridges, and row to that direction. If you were to take the souther bridge, after a few hours, you will see the end of the bridge midair. Nothing is holding it up. And if you look back, the bridge you were under will have disappeared. That is a sign that you are close to the Uncharted lands, a warning.
But if you walk above the bridge, you would just end up in the southern lands, in the Akari kingdom. It will not end midair. The same goes to the other bridges. It is an unexplainable phenomenons, a mystery of the ancient bridge.
The Uncharted lands are made up of two areas. The Charted and The Uncharted.
The Charted is the area of the Uncharted that is explored. There is still a lot about it not known, and new species are being discovered still, but the area itself is explored. There is a map, the in and outs are known. Most of them.
The Uncharted is the area that nobody has ever explored. Or, to be more precise, it is the only area that nobody has ever explored and managed to return. It is a complete mystery, everything from the soil to the stars.
It was in the Charted where they found him.
They are the Venari siblings, Venenti and Vernon. They used to be professional hunters, hunting for money, food, clothing, and the like. When they heard of the Uncharted lands, they immediately set sail to it. They helped with the discovery and naming of places in the Charted area, such as; the Garden of Trees, the Dragons Lair and such. They also discovered maugs, small and bony creatures that are constantly on fire. Their touch can melt skin.
They were exploring the land when they came across him. A boy around the age of 10 or 11, snow-white hair and grey eyes. He was completely alone, how he even survived was a mystery to them. They tried to ask him if he knew anyone, where his parents are, how he got there, but the only answer they'd receive would be,
"It's not of any importance."
Venenti sighed, "What do you mean it's not of any importance? You're in the most dangerous land in all of the world, all by yourself and how you got here 'isn't of any importance'?" Venenti was a woman in her middle years. She had long, flowing dark hair and hazel eyes. What she lacked in muscles, she made up with her ranger skills. She was excellent with the bow.
The boy shrugged.
"What about your name then?" Venenti asked
"It's not of any importance."
"This isn't getting us anywhere, Ven." Said Vernon. Vernon was roughly around the same age as his sister. He was a man with a strong physique, not too bulky not quite average either. He excelled in the usage of weapons.
"You're right, Ver." Replied Venenti "See ya kid."
"Wait!" The boy stood up "Are you going to the outside?"
"Well, yes." Venenti said
"May I go with you?"
"Why don't you just go the way you came?" Vernon said immediately. The boy looked at him, confused. "How did you come to these lands?" Asked Vernon
"Come?" The boy asked "I don't remember coming here. I've always been here."
"Just hold on a second boy, we'll be right back" Vernon said, before taking Venentis arms and moving a little farther away. "You think he's a demon?"
Venenti rubbed her forehead "How moronic can you get? Does he look like a demon?"
"He's got white hair, he's-" he paused, then called out the boy "How old are you, boy?" The boy simply stared in confusion. "Whatever, how can a child have white hair? And look at his eyes, he's got demon eyes, I can tell. He's just- he's- you get the point"
"No, no I don't 'get the point', Ver. He's a kid, and he needs our help!"
The boy suddenly spoke "I can tell you some things I know about this place. I've been here for as long as I can remember, I know some stuff"
The Venari siblings stared. "On second glance, his eyes look pretty human."
The trio walked through the woods and headed to the docks. A creature emerged from the tree bushes and climbed down the tree with a strange fruit. It was blue and in the shape of a pear, but it was not a pear.
It somewhat looked like a monkey. The top of its head was stretched, making the head look like like a cone. It's eyes were blood red. It's face was pale, It's chest was pale like the face.

Its toes and fingers were crimson red but as the red reached the upper parts of the body, it became darker shades of red. When it reached the top of its head, it became a red so dark it was practically black.
It's toes and fingers looked exactly the same. A crimson red slender line with a white circle at the end, and the circle had many other slender lines with circles at the end. There were countless of these things.
"What do you call those things?" Asked Vernon.
"I call them thousand toes." Replied the boy.
"What do they do?" Asked Venenti.
"I dont know what their goals are, if that's what you're asking. it climbs stuff, eats food, they sometimes wrestle, and do some other stuff," said the boy, "I actually trade with them."
Venenti was bemused "You can talk monkey language?"
The boy shook his head "We communicate in our own way. They are smart enough to understand."
"And what do you trade?" Asked Vernon.
"Classified." Replied the boy.
"Oh" Vernon was upset, but decided not to push any further. After about thirty minutes of walking, they finally reached the boat. "There's our exit" They sat at the boat, but it only fit two people.
"Seems there ain't enough space, kid. Here, sit on my lap," The boy sat down on Venentis laps "Start rowing, Vernon!" And with that, they made their leave.
“We’ve arrived!” Declared Venenti.
Vernon paused to stretched his shoulders, "We have eyes, fool. We can see the bridge."
“No need to get so pissy," said Venenti, "get back to rowing."
Vernon began rowing "Don't tell me what to do, freak. I'll bloody your nose!"
"You?" Venenti Iaughed, "With your wimpy arms?" She laughed incredulously.
Vernon fumed "My arms aren't Wimpy, your arms are half the size of my arms!"
Their banter continued until they finally reached the center of the Kings Bridge. Vernon took 3 small metal disks. He put one on the side of the boat, and one on the platform they were standing on. The boat was pulled to the metal disk and stuck to the platform.
The third disk would be used to unlock it. There is no other way to free the boat except with that disk. Even if a perfect replica was made, it would not work. Once the third disk touches the 2 metal disks, all three will be completely unusable.
They climbed up the ladder, then made their way to the end, and realized they were walking to the north.
"How did we mistake north for south?" Said Vernon, looking baffled.
"Are you sure it's the north?" Asked Venenti,
"I know the weather, I know the trees. We can't walk back, we would reach by noon. We have to set camp here somewhere,"
"I heard there's a village nearby, with some child prodigy." Said Venenti. Vernon was still busy being baffled by the idiocy he has witnessed. "Come on, Ver, it'll be ok. It's not like we have much in our bag anyways, who cares if we gain a couple less gold?"
"A couple less," said Vernon "is 50 golds less. 50!" Vernon repeated. "Humans don't have enough of a need for the minerals in the Uncharted, but the orcs would kill for it!"
"It's fine, Ver," Venenti said, "we brought the kid with us, you'd rather his first experience be those green greedy bastards?"
Vernon looked at the boy. "Yeah, yeah you're right. I guess it's good we lost direction"
"Yeah, now let's go"
"What are orcs?" Asked the boy.
"You'll see one day," replied Vernon.
They began to walk, "Wait, where's the village?" Asked Vernon, suddenly.
Venenti looked around, "well it should be next to the Kings Bridge, I'm sure it'd near. Let's keep walking"
After about fifteen minutes of walking, they finally reached the village. Since it was in the middle of the night, they decided to look for a tavern. They found it, and entered.
"Helllo there good man!" Said Vernon loudly. "How much does a room for two cost?"
"A silver." Said the man behind the counter in a nonchalant manner.
"Silv- What are you playing at, old man?"
" 'Old'? I'm thirty. And you're lucky to even find a tavern in a village, I have to pay the bills somehow!" Vernon did not look convinced
Venenti touched Vernons shoulder, "We still have stuff to sell, we'll make the money back tomorrow. Just get the room right now, I think I might fall asleep on the floor," she said, rubbing her eyes.
"Fine. Take this you greedy old hag!" Vernon slid 15 iron coins.
The innkeeper sighed, and took the money. "Second door upstairs." said the innkeeper, handing them the keys. They went up the stairs and into the second room.
"My shoulders are at the doorsteps of death," said Vernon, before fastly falling on the bed and falling even faster asleep.
Venenti put a blanket on him, "A day and night of rowing a boat, then half a day of walking only to end up in the wrong place. He's had a rough one and a half day." She went to her own bed and put a blanket on herself. "You sleep well too, alright? You must be pretty tired as well. You didn't sleep a wink at the boat," and she fell in the pit of sleep. The boy closed his eyes, and he too slept.
The next day, the boy woke up at morning, the sun bright in the sky. The Venari siblings were also awake. They left the room, locked the door and gave the keys to the innkeeper. "It was a pleasure," said Vernon, unpleasantly.
After leaving the inn, Vernon clapped the boy on the shoulder, "Kid, ask someone here where we can get a horse."
"Why don't you do it yourself?" Said Venenti, "You've got a tongue!"
"My shoulder's aching,"
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"I'll go," said the boy, looking around. Two lovers quarreling, a muscular bald man bantering with a boy with jet-black hair, a child stealing an apple from a fruit vendor...
"Hello, may I know where I can find horses for sale?" Asked the boy. The man bantering with the boy had a horse, they must know something about them.
"Uhhh..." the man thought for a moment, "I believe you can find one if you go to that building" he pointed at five buildings ahead, "then take a right and two buildings ahead then a left."
The boy smiled "Thank you!"
"You're welcome. Alright, boy, time to leave." And with that they left.
The boy gave directions to the siblings. "We will go after we sell some of our stuff, we'll need at the very most three gold for a horse. Let's get going. You go play with the children, kid. Me and your ma got work to do..."
"Ma?" Asked Venenti " And what does that make you?"
"Don't make it weird," and with that they left
After about an hour they came back, "Never knew villagers were so skilled at haggling," said Vernon, "atleast we got some gold out of all this. Hey kid, let's go. We need to get a horse."
After some intense haggling, they managed to buy two horses for 7 gold.
"4 gold for a horse? We barely managed to get it down one gold. I'm never coming back here." Vernon stated angrily. "Once we get to the Kingdom, you're gonna see some pretty things, kid. Way prettier than the little buildings here."
"Can I get that?" Asked the kid, pointing at an obsidian-black bow behind a window.
"Huh? You know how to use it?" Asked Venenti
The siblings sat on a horse with the kid sitting behind Venenti. They made their way to the kingdom.
"Hey, what's that?" Venenti said
"What's what? You Saw a rabbit? Want me to hold you?"
"Shut up, there's fire. Over there. Look at that," they rode next to the fire.
"I think that's a body," said the kid, casually as you would say water is wet.
"Quick, quick put it out!" Venenti said, panicking
"That's what I'm doing, thickhead!" Vernon was trying to put out the fire with his cloak. After a moment of hitting, the fire was finally put out. "I paid a pretty penny for this, just for it to burn like thatTsk."
"There's a dead body in front of you, Vernon!" Venenti pointed out
"Oh, right. Forgot about that. What do you think happened?"
The kid crouched next to the body, "That's the guy I asked directions from." He looked for a couple seconds, then backed away. "He has a wound on his chest, he was killed."
"What cold bastard would do something like this?" Venenti said, disgust plain on her face.
"Maybe it ain't a man, maybe it's a demon,"
"For the last time Ver, ain't no such thing as demons!"
The kid cut in the banter "We should give him a proper burial,"
"I sure wouldn't want to end as a pile of ashes." Venenti agreed.
After spending half an hour digging a hole and burying the man, they starting piling rocks on where he was buried. They then made their way to the kingdom
"You sure the rocks won't fall over" said Vernon
"Ver, shut up."
After riding for 30 minutes, they saw another fire.
"Don't tell me it's someone burning again," Vernon said, annoyance plain in his sound.
Riding close to the fire, the kid noticed it was the same jet-black hair boy as the one on the horse in the village
