The body of the adventurer made a nice meaty *THUMP* against the ground after his head had been cut off, his eyes wide with fear from the horror that was the Wraith after it had descended upon his party. The murderer simply looked upon the scene full of blood and guts with a smile full of glee at the thought of more food going into its endless belly. The group of 4 that had been going towards the dungeon simply were unprepared for the silent and ultimately deadly monster. It immediately began devouring the bodies while swiping away the boxes as they popped up in front of it. It wanted to savor its meal this time, as it was its first meal away from the dungeon Instead of just swallowing it whole it began to slowly cut away at the bodies flesh and strip it of the juicy skin on the outside while drinking up the blood before it could fall to the ground. As it ate all it could think of was why it didn't do this before as to the monster, this was a much tastier way to eat food. Almost half an hour later after it had finished off all three corpses the monster went up a tree looking for something Anything nearby.
With a few short movements, she was up a tree and standing on top. Looking to her left she saw deeper into the jungle where the trees rule and where humans and monsters alike are naught more than packages of food with claws and armor for them. It’s a dangerous place where only the best of hunters and the greatest of monsters could thrive. To her right were the shallows of the jungle, an area that is frequently hunted in by humans looking for fame, glory, or treasures on the dead bodies of monsters they had slain. Past it was open plains where humans ruled and monsters were killed on sight, they had nothing to fear as proven in the past when the hordes went against them and they scurried and hid behind their walls like rats. She could see further into the plains showing, in the distance, large walls which looked like they were as long as the plains themselves, and as tall as the tree she sat upon. Just looking at the walls she could almost taste the flesh that would come with killing them, the simple thought was enough to make her drool. She decided to head right, as the left was far too dangerous for her at this moment and if she were to leave for the deeper jungle she would certainly die.
Death, a concept she had known about and had bathed herself in for years now always weighs on her mind. In the dungeon, she didn't care because of the brainwashing the dungeon itself did to her mind, but now that she is out here she understands that one wrong move could easily get her killed, ending her hunt. Shaking her head to get such thoughts out, she begins heading towards the plains and ultimately the city, full of tasty little blood bags known as humans. She traveled throughout the jungle, going over logs, dodging incoming trees, and just generally trying to not getting hit. The grass swayed with her passing and the flowers un-bloomed as she flew past. It was as if the whole jungle knew to stay away from such a monster. Within half an hour she was already on the border between the middle of the jungle and the shallows. Just a bit more and those little mhm succulent blood bags shall be mine! Keh Keh Keh. The monster seemed to have the idea that waltzing into a city, full of humans and in broad daylight, mind you was a good idea. After crossing the border between the shallows and the middle she immediately felt a surge from her instincts as they basically screamed DANGER at her. She immediately began to stop.
Unfortunately, before she could turn around and run away she was already hit straight to the head by a large 'branch' of some sort, and before she could react she was hit once again this time to the back of her head knocking her unconscious.

The Wraith eventually woke up, though not in the best of condition because as soon as she woke up she jumped. Straight into the ceiling unfortunately in a room of stone, surrounded on all sides by large pillars of steel, though while they were huge, she herself was too big to fit through the gaps. Her scythes would also be useless against this much metal. Looking around the room she realized that she could see past the bars itself and into the room. Upon realizing this she immediately dashed forward and tried peering past into its unknown prison. Looking past she noticed that she couldn't exactly see as even with her superior eyesight she couldn't see into the depths of the dark. She kept looking around and upon noticing there was no one there she decided to figure out what to do with her time. “Status”

She couldn't really tell how long she had been here. Then upon looking at her skills, she realized that though she needs to get stronger, as while in the dungeon she was strong when she left, all it took was one moment for her to be taken down with her not being able to do a thing about it. Upon realizing this fact she immediately began training against the metal pillars that made up her cage. Using the bars as a training dummy she sliced and sliced. Eventually, as she was slicing she heard the familiar ding of the system however she just ignored it in favor of continuing to slice. However, said slicing was cut short as she heard someone/thing coming closer. Though it didn't sound like the moving of feet, rather it sounded like a child had found a knife and was repeatedly tapping it against the ground. Though as she listened more, there was a pattern. The sound grew closer while she waited to prepare for an adversary.
Eventually, she found the source of the sound, or rather it found her. Built like a tank and completely un-noticeable with the exception of the tapping was an insectoid-like creature on 4 legs with two blades in the front like a praying mantis. With a purple and gold armor surrounding all but the joints of its body. Even in the dark, it could easily be called shiny by all but the blind. Its main body was as if two dung beetles were stacked upon each other, with a set of wings on each part. On the head was a large, golden horn that looked as if it wanted to cut the very air in front of it. As she watched the creature slowly approach the cage, she began to get herself ready for a fight, she got an odd feeling from the monster though, as if it was there and wasn't there at the same time. A mystifying feeling, though she got her answer to why as before her eyes, the monster began to slowly condense into a shape familiar to her. The shape of a human. A beautiful woman by all standards, standing at 6 feet tall, with pale blue eyes, a set of abs even men would die for, and a body woman would pay a demon their very skin in order for them to have one. Breasts the size of jugs an ass that men would watch for days on end. Unfortunately, this was all wasted on the wraith as all she could do was backup away from her, as she felt fear in her chest. It was almost an instinct telling her not to approach her. Seeing the monster she had captured back up the woman simply smiled and spoke attempting to soothe the monster
“Calm down little one. I mean you no harm.” However, even though she had a beautiful body her voice sounded old and dead with hisses running through it like grains of sand in a river. The wraith looked at her with skepticism as she listened to her. “I know what you were thinking back then, and I believe that it is my position to tell you that it would have been a terrible idea.” simply trying to stay alive at this point the wraith listened to the woman as she spoke about just how bad of an idea it would be to try to go fight the city.
“You don't know this but with all the sentries on the wall, you would be spotted immediately even if you were smaller than a wolf. I have no idea what made you think you could just go and kill everyone in there.” She sighed while talking to the monster. “Honestly I don't think I've ever met someone either as dumb or as brave as you are.” She looked at the ground before looking up at the wraith once again. “So mind telling me your name and for what reason you tried to basically kill yourself for?” she had eyes full of a un comprehendible emotion that just confused the wraith. “...What's a name?” she asked while looking back at the woman in front of her who at the question seemed disgruntled, before laughing so hard she began to bend over, her whole body jiggling at the movement but she didn't seem to notice. When she calmed down and stopped laughing she looked back at the wraith and asked: “Ok whoo, that was a good joke but in all seriousness what's your name?”
as if she though the monster was making a joke. The Wraith just kept looking at her while keeping silent before the reality of the situation began to set in for the woman as her smile faded and her eyes widened before raising one eyebrow over the other and asking “You don't know what a name is?” the wraith looked at her and simply nodded. The woman looked at the wraith with an incredulous face on, before letting out a deep sigh and telling her “go ahead and open your status, at the top to the left should be a box that says Name, go ahead and focus on that box.” As the woman gave her commands the wraith simply obliged as she couldn't do much in this scenario and her curiosity was almost as endless as her stomach. “Status” bringing it up in front of her and focusing on the name before another smaller box appeared in front. “Now then you should be able to give yourself a name by simply thinking it, do you understand?”. Looking at the box and thinking to herself the Wraith eventually thought of a name and chose one, almost immediately above her head appeared the name ‘Blade’. “So what name did you pick?” the woman asked with a hint of curiosity in her voice. Blade simply looked at her with slight suspicion as she wondered whether or not to actually tell her what her name was. Although she had kidnapped her she had not attacked her, tortured her, or really even questioned her other than about her name.
“Blade.” She eventually said after deliberating between her options for about two minutes. “Blade?” she again raised an eyebrow at this as the name Blade was a bit ironic seeing as though she had 10 blades (not including her spikes on her back) throughout her body. “Well alright then, if that's what you chose then that's what it is.” The woman said this time with a slight chuckle instead of a sigh. “Now then, do you mind telling me why you were trying to go to the city, it's a suicide mission.” she asked once again while looking at Blade with a serious expression on her face. As she watched Blade herself was watching her and it took her but a moment to answer “I've eaten quite a few humans before and they were always so tasty, especially their blood. I saw the city and I thought there would be lots of humans there so I wanted to go there and eat some of them.” This answer however just garnered a look between shock and disbelief that this was her answer to why she almost got herself killed had she gone through with it. And once again she broke out laughing, this time at how idiotic her plan was, instead of her hearing a joke. Then again this could almost be considered a joke as to how dumb it sounded. “I don't even know what to say at this point, that may very well be the most idiotic thing I've ever heard in my life and with my long life, I've heard more dumb ideas than there are creatures in this forest. And how exactly were you planning on killing the humans who were stronger than you in there, hmm?” she immediately asked after scolding her reasoning for the attack.
“.......They were stronger than me?” At this point, the woman simply face-palmed while mumbling under her breath about how idiotic some monsters were. Naturally, Blade heard this and was more than a little ruffled on the inside but said nothing, after all, you really shouldn't say something bad against someone much stronger than you. Even she knew this is a bad idea. “Yes, they are stronger than you, much stronger, especially in a frontal assault like you were about to do.” The woman told Blade. “I can't tell if I like you or not you're a bit dull but at the same time, you have some talent even if you don't use it to its full potential. Plus there is the fact that it's quite amusing to watch you screw up” The woman explained to Blade while holding her hand to her chin in a thinking position.
Again Blade simply had to sit there and take the insult. Though she was interested in the whole ‘I like you’ bit. She wondered what she meant by that seeing as though she hadn't even known her for an hour or two. Blade kept staring at the woman to the point where even the obviously thinking woman noticed before blade asked: “I told you my name, what's yours?” The woman obviously seemed surprised as she froze before chuckling “Ah I knew I was forgetting something, sorry about that but my name is Yezel’ Serum. Just call me Yez.” Yez answered with a small smile on her face. “Ah, well that helps” blade answered with an expression that said nothing. “Well can I leave yet, although it's nice that you didn't immediately kill me it's not the best feeling to be imprisoned.” blade said with a blank expression, however, this seemed to be expected as she simply nodded. “Well I can't be too sure that you won’t try to attack me as soon as you get out, so you mind making a little deal with me? It's a little thing called a magical contract, just to keep us from killing each other, or really to keep you from basically committing suicide by attacking me.” She said with a wry smile.
Blade began thinking about Yez’s proposal before asking “can I leave without having one?” “Well yes but I would prefer if my little base could stay hidden from all but myself, and this little contract could help keep said preference.” Yez replied almost immediately. This immediately made Blade think, as in the beginning, she said it was so they wouldn’t attack each other, no she was saying it could help keep her base's location. Upon noticing Blades scrutinizing gaze she immediately replied “you can put multiple things on a magical contract, not just a pledge not to kill each other. And don't worry about me putting something insane like you being my servant on the contract, a magical contract can only happen if the two parties agree with each other or if one of them is a very high-level scribe.” she simply nodded her head along with this as blade was simply left confused, What’s a scribe? Was simply one of the many thoughts floating through her short yet long head.
“So, can we get this over with? While you may not be attacking me or killing me I dare say this is not an ideal situation.” Blade explains as Yez begins to pull out a large Thing it's about a meter wide and long, looking like gold, and with runic writing on it. Yez simply looks at it, closes her eyes, and it begins to start glowing, not enough to blind anybody but a nice glow around its edges as if little golden flames danced around it. Unfortunately, with her much too good eyesight in the dark this flame was as if she was hit directly in the face with a flashbang and as such she immediately had her hands over her eyes, backing away with a loud screech. This caused Yez to immediately stop what she was doing, only to see Blade doing as she does, and freaking the fuck out.
“HEY!, HEY!” She immediately began yelling at Blade with a slightly concerned face as Blade’s screeching calmed down. Upon opening her eyes and seeing Yez’s eyes, she was immediately curious as to why they were like so. She decided to ignore it while explaining “apologies for that however my eyesight is rather good and I've yet to see something as bright as that.” Yez simply had a small amused but curious face on. She simply shook her head and replied, “just look away this time until we are done here.” as she said that she got back to work with the contract, as Blade turned around. About 3 minutes later she simply heard Yez call out “Ok you can turn around now.” Immediately upon hearing this Blade turned around, just in time to see that same piece of gold, now far thinner to the point it looked like paper, though it got much longer. It wasn't glowing so it was fine for Blade to look at. Yez, however, interrupted her little inspection by speaking.
“Alright then, now all I need you to do is put down your signature.” This, however, was rather confusing to the only recently brainwash-freed wraith, as she stared at yez with a face that spoke volumes of her confusion before Yez finally noticed. “What?” “what is a signature?” Blade effortlessly replied. “Ah, right you still don't know that. Well, it's really simple, you put your hand on the contract and you wait till it glows again. The magic in your body should do the rest.” Of course, Yez with her general knowledge of the world immediately explained how to do it as she placed the contract in front of Blade. Blade figuring that she had made it this far without dying decided to risk it and placed her hand on the contract, as soon as she did that it started glowing.
However, unlike last time this wasn't so much a glow as a twinkle here and there, annoying to blade but ultimately fine for her eyes to look at. She watched as the contract slowly rolled itself up into a scroll and with a *POP* disappeared from existence itself. Leaving Blade to look at the spot it was in with a blank face as if she had yet to fully accept what had happened. Yez, on the other hand, had already gotten over it and was making her way to the door to the cage and began unlocking it. When the creak from the hinges came, it snapped Blade out of her daze and she looked towards the door. “Come on now, don't want to be wasting time now do we?” Yez told her as she watched the little monster stay in place for a bit before she slowly floated over towards the door. “Alright then now let's get going,” she said before she immediately began walking in the direction she had come through. Following behind her Blade is completely focused on making sure she doesn't get lost in this maze of a ‘home’ as yez called it. With golden walls that have two long indents similar to claw marks moving alongside both of the walls, making everything look exactly the same for her. Eventually though after many flights of stairs, which were one of the only distinguishing features to the actual home which could pass off for a palace in size alone, they came across the final gate leading out of the area and into the jungle beyond. As she was about to walk out, Blade turned around and looked at Yez, asking “Why are you doing this for me? I have never met you before and I have never known of you, so why go out of your way for me?” she turned around with a confused face but eyes blazing with curiosity. Yez simply looked at her and smiled “You look funny, and you got a bit of talent. So I thought I may as well help.”
And with that, she turned around and walked back into the palace of a home leaving blade to her own devices, deep in the woods, where monsters many times stronger than her roam, where she could die, EASILY!
SHIT!
