That night, Eliah dreamed again.
In her dream, she was a young, beautiful girl with a flower crown.
She was standing in a desert, in front of a great mountain.
On top of the mountain, a dark figure appeared.
Eliah knew who it was. Her father.
The dark figure looked at Eliah with its evil eyes.
"Hello, my daughter," her father said. "I've come to tell you that I'm sorry."
Eliah was shocked.
"Sorry? Sorry for what?" she asked.
"For leaving you alone," he explained. "I know I didn't do a good job raising you."
Eliah was confused.
"But I'm still your father," her father continued. "And I love you."
Eliah was speechless.
"So, don't cry," her father said. "Just listen to me."
Eliah nodded.
"I know you're unhappy," her father explained. "Your life has been hard. You have a lot of problems. So, I want to help you."
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
Eliah's heart was pounding.
"All you need to do is go inside that mountain," her father continued. "Inside the mountain, you'll find a secret room. Inside the secret room, you'll find a special stone. It's a magic stone. If you rub the stone, it will give you all the power you desire. All the power you want."
Eliah's mouth was dry.
"Go ahead," her father encouraged. "Rub the stone. Rub it real hard. Rub it until you get what you want."
Eliah stared at the dark mountain. She wanted to go inside.
"Are you sure?" her father asked. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Eliah nodded.
"Okay, you are such a good little girl." her father said. "Here goes nothing."
With one last look at Eliah, her father disappeared into the darkness.
Eliah stood there, looking at the mountain.
Then, with trembling hands, she rubbed the stone.
