Hellbound Wanderer
A landscape that could be immortalized.

A landscape that could be immortalized.

After seven months the girl finally found her wish. She danced the dance again, with hope in her eyes.

When she felt the warm sensation, she kept dancing until she heard a sound in her mind.

"What do you wish for?"

And she said "I wish for a Eternal Utopia for everyone, including you, the wish grantor."

Asmodeaus was a little surprised. This lass had such big ambitions. But he liked it.

He asked "Define utopia to you."

The girl replied "A world where everyone can find peace, happiness, harmony and solace. A world where no stone goes unturned and all wrongs are written and righted. A world beyond integers where integrals integrate ingratiating ingrates. A whole new world, shining brightly and splendid, things to do, places to go and a whole new view to share with you. I want love and peace and happiness and harmony and respite. Clean benches in parks that feel soft to sit on, clouds making various interesting patterns, chaotic fractals bringing artistic mastery. I want utopia to be a place where everyone can be the best versions of themselves, as long as they don't trample others."

Asmodeaus smiled. What a thought. He too once had similar ambitions.

So he asked "And what is your first step?"

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

She answered "I want to create a religion or safe space to find people with likeminded views. But I do not have the resources, expertise or the ability to make my dreams a reality. So I want 50 standard units of gold to fund my project."

Asmodeaus laughed like it was the funniest thing he had ever heard.

"So let me get this straight, you can wish for anything, but you want money?"

The girl nodded "Money is real, and only with something real can I make something meaningful."

Asmodeaus looked at her slantedly. "Money is a social construct where it is given value. It does not have inherent value. If you want something of inherent value I suggest you wish for a book."

The girl shook her head "How could a book possibly help me? I'll take my gold."

Asmodeaus scrunched his eyes then opened them again. "Alright. Have it your way. Here is the gold. He materialized the gold from his lair in the abyss straight to her realm. But you must tell me your true name first before it is yours."

The girl thought quietly. Then she said into the air "My name is Drexa."

After getting the gold, Drexa was a little light-headed. She would never have to worry about food, shelter or water again. With this much gold she could become a princess. But she knew the importance of keeping a low profile. If someone found out that she came upon such a windfall they would be immensely jealous and possibly even have bad intentions towards her.

Drexa was a little regretful that she didn't ask for 100 or 200 units of gold as that would make things easier but she wanted as little karmic debt to such a mystical creature as Asmodeaus as possible. It would be hard to keep and hide away such a large amount anyway, so 50 units was the perfect number. Drexa decided to exchange one of the units of gold into common currency in her realm tomorrow morning.

Asmodeaus was sitting in a reclining chair in his castle in the 8000th and something floor of the Abyss. Tapping his fingers together. "Drexa" he muttered. This name seemed familiar. Then it came back to him. Tinyurl.com/Drexy541 ! Nuccio's Nurseries. It all made sense.
